A Summoner in the story of Final Fantisey X is a person with the devine power to summon great beasts to aid them in their quest to protect their homeland Spera. Traveling with their guardians on a quest called a Pilgramage they set off to restore peace to Spera by destroying a great monster called Sin that creates havoc and destruction wherever it goes. It is the summoner's job to destroy Sin and bring a time of peace called The Calm to Spera. But there is a terrible price to pay for a summoner to do this. In order to have the power to defeat Sin they must travel far and learn to summon many aeons until they are strong enough to summon the Final Aeon. The Final Aeon is powerful indeed but it is in fact SO powerful that in destroying Sin it also kills the Summoner and one of the summoner's guardina must aslo die and will ten years later come back as a new Sin.

Most of you already know the tale of Yuna the great Summoner who grew up on Besaid Island. Who'se father was the gread Braska and the last summoner to destroy Sin. But Yuna will turn her back on the teachings of Yeavon because the high priests of Yeavon are corrupt and because Yuna will fall in love. But this story isn't about Yuna it is long before the time of Yuna or even her father Braska. Our story is about two Summoners who were best friends in childhood but the power of time has turned them so they must fight against eachother for the good of their families and their home Spera.

Elva and Jade were best friends as children. They grew up on Besaid Island in a village only just smaller then the one Yuna grew up in. Elva was the daughter of the Shamen and leader of the villege and Jade was an orphan who was basically raised by the entire villege. Jade was found the same day of Elva's birth. Elva's mother died in childbirth that night and her father Sorian had found a child just outside the villege. There was nothing with the baby but a thin blanket she was wrapped in and a piece of paper with the word 'Jade' on it. Sorian took the child home and he searched for the parents for years after that but he never did find anyone who would claim the child. So Jade was raised by everyone in the Villege. She lived in the home of the Shamen and she was best friends with Elva. The two of them were closer then sisters and they were never separated.

On the year that the two turned 14 Elva recieved a calling to become training to become a summoner. Elva accepted the calling as an honor and Jade was very excited for her friend. But as time went by and Elva had more and more to do as a summoner in training she would often travel out of Besaid Island far out into Spera and Jade was only sometimes permitted to come along. Jade also trained though because she wanted to become Elva's guardian and help her when it was time to begin her pilgramege. But as time went on and as the two had so much training to do they eventually grew apart somewhat.

It was a night of excitement when Elva had finally completed her training and became a summoner. The two were now 18 years old and there was a lot of celebration in Besaid that night but to everyones supprise Jade seemed to have vanashed as the night was half over. They had a search party all through the night and for months after for the young girl that had shown up on their Island but Jade was never found and they finally agreed that Jade must have been carried away by sinspawn(wild monsters in Spera) and was dead.

Elva was devastated by the news and she herself eventually turned her back on her training temporarily to go out and search for Jade herself only to come back to Besaid with a heavy heart. She never had found her but when she reached Besaid again she descovered that her home Island had been attacked by Sin and that most of her loved ones were dead. Elva found her father the Shamen just as he was taking his last breaths near the temple of Yeavon(yeavon is the god of Spera). Her father used his last breaths to tell Elva that it was he who was the cause of Jades dissapearence. He said that Jade had been a distraction from Elva's training and that he had paid thieves to steal her away in the night and take her far away. Sorain had felt so guilty over the years that he had sent his daughters best friend away and caused her so much grief. It was his own guilt and anger that had attracted Sin's attention in the first place and so Sorain took all of the blame for the destruction on their home on himself as he died in Elva's arms.

Elva then picked up her summoners staff and set out into Spera beginning her pilgramage early with no guardians for everyone she knew was dead. She promised herself and her father that she would find Jade again and that together they would save Spera and bring the Calm to their lands once again.

Guardians are those that travel with and advise summoners in their pilgramage. It is their responsibility to protect the summoner at all costs until they are strong enough to destroy Sin.

Menwhile though Jade was taken and left to die in the desert. She somehow made it to Bevelle and she was taken in by the priests there. The priests trained Jade to be a summoner as well and though she didn't have as much time to learn as Elva had Jade quickly picked up the learnings of a Summoner but Jade had a different plan in mind with her powers. She began thinking 'Why risk my life to save Spera when I could find a way to save it forever?' Jade then snuck away from the temples of Bevelle and began her pilgramage as well with her closest friends from Bevelle (only two) to find a way to destroy Sin forever wether it meant sticking to the teachings of Yeavon or not.

The two friends will meet again and what will happen when Elva descovers that her best friend from childhood is against the teachings? Elva has always been taught to kill those that would attempt to change the ways of Spera. But could she ever kill her best friend?

(Elva firmly believes in the teachings of Yeavon and will defend them no matter what. Elva currently has no guardians she is alone.)

Jade(Jade wants to bring a permanent calm to Spera and she wants to live and to save the life of her guardians as well. She searches for ways to do so even if it means going against Spera. She has two guardains who are her best friends from Bevelle and the ones that found her dying in the desert.)

Jades Guardain #1- (Male, found Jade dying in the desert and brought her home to Bevelle. Son of one of the soldiers who guard and protect Bevelle)

Jades Guardain #2- (Female, one of the assistants who healed Jade back to life. A well trained fighter.)

Name: Elva
Age: 19
Role: Summoner
Bio: Elva grew up on Besaid Island. She is the daughter of the Shamen of Besaid, Sorien. Through her whole life she always dreamed of becomming a Summoner and bringing the next Calm to Spera. She and her best friend, Jade always use to pretend they were summoners and guardains as children. They were always running around town fighting pretend monsters and summoning emaginary Aeons. She loved Jade more then she loved her father even. Then when she was offered the position of Summoner she immediately went into training and she never had much opportunity to see Jade anymore. She was always taken from one class to the next. She has learned to summon many aeons and she became quite the powerful Summoner but she was still denied the chance to begin her pilgramage. She did have one guardian a boy named Talon who she had a slight crush on. Talon her her began dating in secret but once they were descovered Talon was sent away to Bevelle to become a priest. After that Elva never did gain a love interest again. On her return home from training with a high summoner in the Guado providence she found that her best friend Jade had been taken away by Sin Spawn and she immediately set off to find her. She never found Jade though and on her return home two months later she found her Besaid Island had been attacked by Sin himself. That was when she learned that her father had paid Thieves to kidnapp Jade and take her away so she couldn't take Elva's attention away from her training anymore. Elva then picked up her staff and began her pilgramage alone with no guardians so far. She promised herself and her father that she would bring a calm to the land again and she would find Jade and bring her back home. Those were her last words to her father before he died.

Personality: Elva is kind of quiet and shy. She had a very firm belief in the teachings of Yeavon. She is very deturmined to find Jade and then to bring the Calm to Spera. She knows that in order to do so she has to die.
Weapon: A Summoners staff and she is an expert with Magic.
Abilities: Summon, Magic, Unarmed Combat, Swords (Though she doesn't own one.)

Name: Auren
Age: 28
Role: Guardian (Auron from FFX's great grandfather)*One of Jade's guardians*
Bio: Auron doesn't care about his past. He grew up near the ruins of Zanerkand with his mom and it was only the two of them. Auren was kind shy as a child and always did as he was told. His mother was a very crafty swordswoman and ex-warrior for Spera. She taught Auren to defend himself better then any man could. Auren never remembers a time when she just let lose and acted like a loving mother though. She was always pushing him to work harder and she often compared him to his father. Despite this Auren learned to respect and love her more than anything. When his father died though she took her toddeler son Auren so close to the cursed runs of Zanerkand she thought for sure her husband's enemies would never find them. But she was wrong when Auren was twelve a bunch of strange men came to their home in the middle of nowhere. They already knew his name and claimed to be friends of his father. Auren didn't let them inside but allowed them to wait outside for his mothers return. When she did return she seemed to recognise them instantly and she attacked them telling Auren to run but he wouldn't leave her. He tried to help her but he got knocked out somehow. When he woke up he was lying next to her dead body with the leader of the strangers standing over him. Enraged he killed them all without a second thought. He later descovered that they weren't human at all but a new type of sinspawn in the form of people they have killed before. Discusted, Auren now looks for a way to destroy sin for what he has done and the grusome new monsters he has created. He will get revenge for her death. But he doesn't want to just cause him to be gone for a while. He wants Sin in hell forever for what he has done and the lives it has taken.
Appearence:
Personality: Quiet and sly. Auren was trained by one of the most deadly warriors in Spera. People still talk of his parents to this day. Auren's mother never taught him of the teachings of Yeavon and he doesn't know nor care about them. He also doesn't know much about Aeons supprisingly but they never interested him much either. He respects Summoners for what they do but he doesn't prase them like the rest of spera.
Weapon:
Abilities: Swordplay, masterd unarmed combat, no patience for magic but telepathy and telecanesis which he has always had a natural talent for.

Name: Toru
Age: 13
Role: Guardian (One of Elva's guardians)
Bio: Toru is very small but her past would shock most people. She was born into a loving family near the guado territory though she is human. Toru's parents and little brother were very normal and they lived so close to the Guado because they often visuted the Farplane(A place where the sperits of the dead can speak to you). Their parents had lost a daughter just older than Toru and they just couldn't bear to leave her so they stay near the farplane so they can continue to speak to her. Toru on the other hand was different then her family. She often went to the Guado temple to pray and more importantly to speak to the soldiers and the summoners and guardians who would pass through on their pilgramage. The summoners and guardians and soldiers would tell her all kinds of exciting stories of their journies and Toru just lost herself in the idea of traveling with a summoner as a guardian. She made herself a clumsy sword and she often practiced all by herself. She eventually taught herself some very effective fighting techniques. Despite her innocent appearence Toru is very competitive.
Appearence:
Personality: Smart, Beautiful, outgoing. Despite her innocent appearence that often fools people Toru is a higly formitable apponent to even the most highly trained of warriors. She taught herself though and she currently still lives at home but she often dreams of more.
Weapon:
Abilities: She has mental control over earth powers. She is really good with a sword and she can also use healing magic and she has an ability to calm some types of sinspawn.

Name: Talon
Age: 20
Role: Guardian (One of Elva's guardians)
Bio: Grew up on Kilika Island believe it or not. His parents left him and his little brother there with no warning and they never came back. Talon can only guess that their ship was attacked by Sin and that they had drown at sea but he took care of his brother no matter what until Sin attacked Kilika and destroyed everything. Talon tried to get his brother and himself to safety but before his very eyes he watched his only family be killed by Sin. He wants to bring a calm to Spera but he wants to do it the right way like his brother would have wanted him to. He now searches for a summoner who needs a guardian.
Appearence:
Personality: Cold, Quiet, Deadly. Talon only speaks when he has something damn important to say. He believes the teachings of Yeavon. He would never think to go against them.
Weapon: TWO OF THESE
Abilities: Unarmed combat, the dragon claw*His weapon*, quick wit, string will.
Other: N/A

THE CHARACTERS ABOVE ARE OF MY CREATION BUT THEY ARE NOT MY CHARACTERS. THEY ARE TEMPLATES I HAVE CREATED BECAUSE I THINK THEY WILL BE RELEVANT TO THE STORY. THEY ARE THE CHARACTERS OF WHATEVER USER WISHES TO CONTROL THEM IN THIS RP!!!

BTW: Could someone PLEASE tell me who it is on Hope's character's appearence!? I know I've seen her before and I don't know who it is!!!!! Hope isn't that helpful either seeing as she's asleep loll

 

Nah I just searched Talim and it doesn't really look like her. Is she a Final Fantisey Character maybe?... This upsets me greatly that I cant put a name to the face. I know I've seen it before somewhere and just to make things better I asked Hope and she doesn't know who it is! She just said she liked the pic but she didn't know it was a character from anything. Grr this is going to annoy me forever.

 

Looks like we have everyone who is going to join this one. So I'll post the RP thread soon

... This is still annoying me though. I cant figure out who that pic is of! *Stares dumbly at Hope's profile before giving up.* I'll probably feel really stupid when I figure out who it is.
