    Story:

    A group of kids have lost their parents and family leaving them as orphans. Afraid of society the kids have been together since they were very young. They steal to eat and live in an abandoned wharehouse basement in New York City. The kids are constantly on the run from the cops it seems and the kids are very close to eachother.

    The cruel city takes it's tole on the children over time. Physicaly and emotionaly it is hard on them. Some dream of a better life while other kids are afraid of seeking help.

    This is the story of these orphans.

    Leon sat in the corner of the wharehouse thinking. He looked at Will and asked, "So how are things with you? I mean...you okay?" Leon looked like he did'nt feel good. He looked pale with an obvious fever. "Ya know I thought you were going to be more open but you seem alot like me. Ah...what am I talking about? I need to be silent. I'll probably just mess up again." He sighed.

    Eric walked up to Leon "Hey, Leon, what's going on?" Eric asked. He sat down next to Leon and pulled his laptop out of his laptop case and started typing. "I'm got into the police station's computer files, they got profiles on all of us now." Eric said

    "Lovely..." Will said, commenting on Eric's statement. Will shushed Leon and said. "Quiet, I'm trying to find a way to get in." He said, staring out a window at the mall across the highway. "It's a goldmine in there. Weapons, food, and clothes. If only we could get in..." He muttered, flipping a knife between his fingers. His grandfather's knife, the very same one he used to get out of the orphanage. "You got any ideas?" He asked Leon.

    "Yeah I do. Maybe we could use Erics computer to access a map of this place and get inside via the sewers or something. Sure it's nasty but it's better than dealing with sercurity." Leon looked at Eric and asked, "Can you use your computer to find a way inside, Eric?" One could tell Leon looked sick by looking at his weak eyes.

    "I'm sure i could if i had enough time." Eric replied. He started typing weird code into his computer. "This should only take a couple minutes." Eric said as he continued to type. After a minute or so he stopped typing "Got it, it just has to load the map." Eric said. He pulled out his Switchknife and started fliping it around and doing fancy tricks with it. "I love this thing." he said smiling at the knife.

    Will looked at the Laptop's screen and grinned, looking at the top floor's schematic. "We're going in through the roof. Leon, you stay here. Your sick, you need rest and we'll bring back medicine. Eric, you up for the job?" He asked, trying not to wake the others since it was about two A.M. He could get some good stuff here but he could also get something for Julie. He had been meaning to but no place offered the oppourtunity. This place did.

    "Oh yeah." Eric said. He twirled his knife around. He put his laptop back in his case and stood up. Eric looked at the floor and saw his dog, Scottie at him "Leon can you make sure Scottie doesn't get into any trouble while we're gone?" Eric asked

    Leon sighed and said, "Okay but if your not back in an hour i'm coming in there." Leon laid down and sighed, "I'm kinda sleepy anyways. Bring me back a small carton of milk if you can." Leon relaxed and allowed himself to let his body heal.

    Meanwhile a police car was near by. The officer had his gun ready in case something happened, "I'm just waiting to use this thing." He relaxed in his car.

    Will looked out the window and saw the cop car. He turned back, grinning as he went to a wooden chest in the corner of the warehouse. He drew two pistols and five mags each. He handed one to Eric. "Cops are patrolling the highway. This is in case one comes after you. Don't shoot to kill. Just disable and take their weapon. Got it?" He asked Eric, pulling his hoodie on and putting the gun and ammo into his pockets.

    "I'm ready when you are." Eric replied, Following Will. He put on sunglasses to hide his identity, and put the bullet clips into his pocket. He put the gun in his other pocket with his hand in it in case he needed it out quickly. "Just make sure he doesn't shoot my laptop case, or we're not getting into that mall at all." Eric said

    Will took the laptop from him, putting it into a backpack on his back. "They won't. I swear. Now let's go. He said, lifting his hood which covered most of his face. He stepped outside, starting towards the stone wall that was on the side of the empty freeway. He reached it quickly, vaulting it with ease. He then crouched, waiting fro Eric.

    Eric followed and crouched next to Will. "Okay, now what's the plan? How will we get past these cops?" Eric asked. He looked at the patrolling cops. "I hope they don't have anything other then pistols." Eric said. He pulled a mag out of his pistol and checked to see of it was full. He then put in back in.

    Will grinned, looking at the streetlight 30 feet away. He lifted his pistol, shooting it to get the cop's attention. The cop went to investigate and Will ran, hopping the next stone wall and going to the cop's car, taking the shotgun and shells. They could always use a stronger weapon. He continued, getting to the mall in no time. They got to the ladder at the back and he looked at Eric. "Ok, now we're going to go through the glass ceiling to the third floor. We won't break it, just remove a panel." He explained.

    "Alright, i'm ready when you are." Eric said. He walked to the edge of the roof and watched out for cops. "It's clear." Eric said turning around. Then he heard sirens going off. He quickly turned back around and looked at the streats. Cops were covering the streets looking for who shot the traffic light. "Hurry up!" Eric said

    Will used his knife to undo the bolts on one of the top windows, pulling it out easily when he had finished. He then swung Eric down to the third floor. When Eric was safely in he jumped down to the third floor. He then looked at Eric. "You go for clothes. At least three pairs for everyone. Don't be afraid to borrow bags from the store and I mean backpacks when I say bags. I'll go for weapons and we'll meet up for food in 5 minutes, got it?" He asked Eric, strapping the shotgun from the cop's car to his back.

    "Got it." Eric said running off for the clothes stores. He looked around for clothes. When he got everything he needed he walked out of the store, he looked ahead of him and saw a sucurity guard patrolling the area "Oh boy...This wasn't part of the plan." Eric said. He slowly walked towards the shadows. The guard saw him and started chasing Eric. Eric ran towards the escalator down to the second floor. He ran down the down escalator to pick up speed at the end he tripped. "Arg, crap." Eric said. He saw the guard. He looked around for a way to get away. He saw the fuse box for the dim lights on the wall. He pulled out the pistol Will gave him and shot it a couple times and the lights went completly out, the only light he had was the moon shining through the glass panels on the roof. He ran towards a pizza store. He pulled out his cell phone knowing Will had one he diled Will's cell number. "Come on...pick up......." Eric said looking around for the guard, he saw him and ducked behind the counter in the pizza place to avoid detection.

    Will didn't answer his phone, he just ran and dropkicked the guard in the back of the head, knocking him out. "Watch it next time." He grunted to Eric, standing and heading off to the weapons store. He went in and opened his backpack. He took all the ammo that they had guns for and then he took a bolt action rifle with a scope and grabbed ammo for it. He strapped it to his back and walked out the store. The thought of a gift for Julie was still in his head but he didn't know what she would want.

    "Well excuse me, i didn't expect him to see me." Eric said to himself. a couple minutes later Eric found Will again "Are we ready to head out?" Eric asked. He looked around for any more annoying guards. He looked at his wrist and saw it was bleeding "What the, how'd that happen....? I must've cut it when i tripped." Eric said looking at his cut

    Will shrugged. "Let's get some food and we're out of here." He said. He then thought of something. "Hey, I got one more thing to get. I'll meet you at the food section." He said starting down the stairs to the first floor. When he got there he went into the jewelery store, going right up to the case and putting his pistol through it. He grinned a second later. "No alarms, peice of cake." He muttered, grabbing a gold locket from there and shoving it in his pocket as he headed to the food department.
