The Most Underrated FF Game

    I'd ask which game was the most overrated, but we all know the answer to that, so which do you think is the most underappreciated game?

    I used to think IX, because it was stuck between VIII and X as the last of the playstation games, and those other two got way more attention. I'd read some hating on IX, but it mostly seemed like people either didn't really notice its existence, or were turned off by the graphics and refused to give it a chance. IX is one of my favorites, so I think that's a real shame. But I think IX has become more appreciated than it was when I first starting getting into this series. Of course, it still doesn't have near the hype of VII.

    I also think V is overlooked a lot. You hear positive reviews about IV and VI, but not much about V, and I also really enjoyed this game. It had a great villain and an interesting cast of heroes, and the game had a nice difficulty level. I'm glad I gave it a chance.

    And I think XII sometimes doesn't get the kudos it deserves. It's not a perfect game (none of them are), but I don't think it deserves all the hate I remember it getting when it was first released.
