The Melody of the E.N.D.

Xia was busy doing experaments in the field. she had a Tiger-like Spear straped to the ground and injected something into it. "If this works your ours." but then the Spear broke the straps, grew a little and stood on its hine legs. "...Or not..." she said hopping on her Fourarms bike wich then drove underneth the Spear, lifted onto its back wheels and used its fronts as buz saw arms. it took alittle fighting but Xia finaly cut of the head of the Spear. Xia got of the bike and looked at the dead Spear. "...back to the drawing bord she said scoping up blood on her bladed fingers.

 

Will stood with his back to the wall. Three of these demons, or 'spears', moved towards him. The two were shaped like large wolves with a new one in the middle. This new one was strange. It had started as what he classified as a 'large armor' but it then shifted to mimic his shape, even down to his sword. It wasn't exact an exact replica, but it was very close. As he slashed down one of the wolves the other one jumped at him, catching the broadside of his blade as he sweeped it back. The wolf hit dirt and the blade followed him down, spearing right through the midsection of the demon. "Now for you..." Will said, voice a bit muffled by the olive colored scarf on his lower face.

 

Xia got back to the HQ of E.N.D. and went into the lab. she placed a vile filled with the blood of the Spear that she had just killed. the readings were of the charts. this could be good in some ways, but bad in others... she thought as she tried to call the two people she knew would care about this danger. "Will, Akimbo, We have a problem...I need you to get back to the lab STAT..." she said over the intercom...

 

Will heard the comm on his bike spark to life and relay the message. He twirled his sword once and slashed out at the demon, cutting off it's two front legs off and putting a large gash in it's upper body as he turned, swinging his leg over the bike and slamming his red card into the console. as the bike started to roar to life a compartment on the right side opened up and revealed a rack for his sword. As he slammed the sword home and kicked the compartment shut he tapped a button on the console, keying the comm. "Was in the middle of something but I guess I can pull back early..." He growled, bike pulling away from the scene with a large roar.

 

Xia Sighed. "Tipical...look if you can just get over here fast...there is something I have that could be a turning point for the war...I just don't know for wich side...by the way have you seen Akimbo anywhere? if he don't know about this he will chew my head off..."

 

Will shook his head as he was pulling onto the street, using one hand to pull a pair of goggles onto his eyes. He pulled a earpiece from the dash and slid it into his ear, opening an active comm. "Last I saw he was at the base looking into some sort of high class spear. Now tell me, what was in this blood sample and why is it interrupting my hunting?" he said. Xia was one of the only ones who knew how he ended up there, and how he took out almost 8 spears before being almost killed. "Come on Xia, you know if there's something big going down I want in."

 

Xia shook her head. "uhg well as Akimbo said this Spear blood sample had the traits of being more human but Thats not all...this is blood from the Spear that I tested the Tameing Chemical on...and it grew passed its origanle size and power...I had to use My bkie to finish it off...and if these two facters are put together then you can imagen what that means..." she said with a worried tone.

 

Will's jaw muscles started grinding as he let the answer slam into his mind. "They're evolving. They also seem to be getting smarter. I was fighting a heavy armor and two hounds and they tried to corner me, tried to get to my back while I was distracted with the heavy. It seems like they're getting tactical." He growled, turning into the industrial district a few blocks from the HQ. He revved the bike and it jumped forward as he eyed the areas around the factories looking for threats. "Xia, what if they're starting to militarize?"

 

Xia shook her head. "Its posible but highly unlikely...I may just have grabed the wrong serum but I still would agree they seem to be getting stronger and more tactical... ... ...Will...see if you can find a more tactical Spear and bring the blood sample to me...I may be able to get something off of that."

 

As Xia spoke the request four heavy spears stepped into the road and raised their shields, creating an unpassable phalanx as he pulled the brake, stopping about 10 feet from the creatures. "I may have found some right now..." He growled, hitting the weapon compartment button on the console and yanking his sword free, stepping off the bike and twirling the sword. He tapped one more button on the console that activated a camera on the bike with feed to HQ as he spoke to Xia. "Have you ever seen Heavies do this?" He asked, indicating to the feed he was sending to them.

 

Xia was amased. "Only once!!! but thats when our men used them as shields!!! This is byond there comprehension!!! theres no way they could pull something like this off!!!" then she realised something. then she pressed record and ran out of the lab to her bike then rode over to his possition as fast as she could. and if this gets any worse we won't be able to stop them...

 

As Will prepped himself to fight he knew that this would be a hard fight, almost as hard as the night he was brought into the cult. As he let his sword charge with fire and cover the blade. He then realized that the second he activated the power they started to step forward, slowly but surely. As he readied he heard a bike in the distance, knowing it was Xia to come to help him. As he looked for openings he noticed that the Heavies weren't only covering their own bodies with the large shields but also open spots of their allies. "This should be good." He breathed, tightening his grip on the sword.

 

Xia saw the same thing. as she drove towrd Will her Cloak flew off revailing her fighting outfit. "WILL!!! DON'T TRY IT!!! ITS WHAT THEY WANT!!!" she said in fear then she jumped of her as it blew into the heavies. then she landed next to Will. "Will. their trying to fool you. they want you to go in there fighting. they will tear you to sheads before you even start. we need to get out of here."

 

Will noticed a few of the hounds coming from the alleys and such. "No Xia, look. They're using them as bait. I would be able to kill these but there are more showing up to hit me in the back when I'm getting tired out..." He said. "It's more militarized than we could have thought..." He stuck his back to Xia's back and sent out a few flame shots, killing a couple of hounds. But he started to get nervous from the clanging steps of the heavies behind him. "We need to leave, and quick..." He growled.

 

Xia held up a remote and pressed a botton and with that a brand new bike came out of no where. it had red lights on the wheels. she looked at Will and said "you want to drive "Lazerman" or should I?"

 

Will sat on his bike. "I'm not leaving my bike behind, besides I plan on taking a different route." He growled, slamming his sword home into the compartment and grabbing Xia, plopping her onto the seat behind him. "Hold on tight." He barked, flooring the bike towards one of the taller factories that surrounded them. As he approached the building he revved the gas once more and pulled the front end up. The bike rode right up the building and onto the roof where he floored it into a different block.

 

Xia held on for dear life as she rode with Will. "You always were the risk taker." she said jokeingly. then she saw something feared even worse then high places. one of the spears changed into Xia's form and rode Lazerman up the wall just like Will was. "Will...we got trouble..." she said hanging on tighter to Will.

 

Will looked back. "Your bike shouldn't have the horsepower to do that. The cult doesn't put that kind of power into their bikes... Your bike is transforming. The spear is modifying it!" He barked, bringing his sword from the compartment as he pulled the corner and made the bike shoot forward. As he raced down the street the bike started to pull up next to him, grey spikes and armor starting to grow on the bike. "We have to knock the thing off the bike and kill it!." He called.
