Who else is enjoying this series!? I'm loving it! Why do you like it or perhaps hate it? What happened to Zuko's mother and who do you think the main bad guy is?

I am. Although I made another thread for this series back when it started up.

I honestly like it more than the original series.

I'll be honest. Who cares? Seriously. She was banished and ended up living elsewhere in the world. The only way her disappearance could have any possible significance is if she ended up being Amon's grandma or something.

Amon. Isn't it kinda obvious by now. Oh, and for those of you who've seen the latest episode you've gotta agree that Amon is awesomely overpowered for a (supposed) non bender. And I added in supposed because I wouldn't be surprised if there was something about him (related to bending) that hasn't been revealed yet.

    I am.
I love the idea of a revolution against benders. Non-benders are rising against benders and doing a pretty darn good job. A new type of bending style/sport, and metal benders. XD. I love this show.

I wasn't too interested in this but I like the idea of setting up an explanation then ruining it.
Who else is there? I'm guessing its the revolutionary who is bent on wiping benders from the face of the planet. Just a thought. But really, Amon. With his chi blockers, his followers are typically better than normal benders.

So Chris got me hook on Legend of Korra and I've been watching it online. I just saw the season finale. Any thoughts?

    SPOILER!!!!
Personally I think it went far too quick. I mean they killed off the main villain the end of book one, now what are we suppose to suspect in the water, earth, and fire books? Korra has mastered all of her elements. There's nothing truly more for Korra to build off. She even seems to have mastered the avatar state able to summon into the avatar state to return Linn's bending. What are we supposed to suspect? There's nothing...

-The equalists know the truth about Amon
-Korra just going around returning everybody's bending is beyond boring
-all the nations are at peace

I love the show, I love the finale, but I mean, that's one short legend!

I disagree. I feel it would've dragged on if they made it longer.

I heard they're only doing 2 seasons for Korra, so you don't have to worry that much about what they'll do next.

No she hasn't. She hasn't mastered all the elements. She only just learned how to airbend. And she hasn't mastered the avatar state either. She only went into it once to show that she's on the road to becoming a fully realized avatar.

Says who? The entire focus was on one single city. Even though the nations are probably at peace with each other, they didn't actually show that to be the case.

i know im late on this but oh well. i agree with desert warrior. the creators never really show us that all the nations are at peace with each other and on top of that they never address the real issue they raised with the start of the show. how does korra settle the dispute with the benders vs non-benders? and its since its shown that she can return people's bending wouldnt that just add fuel to the tension between benders and non-benders? i love the show and everything, i just wanted to know how they would work through that.

I finally watched all the episodes. I can't wait till Book 2: Spirits in 2013!!! Although Book 1: Air ended pretty fast in 12 episodes. It was done pretty well though. Anyway, I guess Korra will be starting 3 more separate stories in the remaining 3 books.

No! It only says a second season.

The second season will span over 2 books.

The other half of the first season hasn't aired yet.

I liked it till the last episode. I hated the ending. It was dumb to me, i think she shouldnt have gotten all her bending back just like that, she should have worked for it back with only being able to use Air. That would have made it longer and alot better instead of such a corny ending. Going into the spirit world and getting her bending back would have been even cooler as well. They could have done sooo much more with it but nooo. She had to get her bending back.
