The legend of chocobo's

Hi guys,this is my newest story which I will continue to write.It is based on my favourite character in the series.This is chapter by chapter,if I get enough reply's I will post then next chapter.Underlined things are FACTS or things that have been used in FF or KH.

Chapter 1



The region of Spira had been almost quiet recently after the defeat of Sin, the beast that had threatened Spira. Though, unbeknownst to the people of the region, a new threat has come, and the only way to defeat it, is to find the one.



Alex had been riding Chocobo's for a few years now, he was quite good at it. He had chosen the great name of Choco for his bird, and soon he hoped to enter races. His father had been a Jockey once, but had to move on to a medical profession as he got older. His mother was now deceased, though his Father told him story's that his mother was once a great mage, who helped in the defeat of the Phantoms. Aki, was his mothers name.



He pulled up at Choco Billy's Stables to put away his Chocobo. The chat was quite good there, and Billy talked about The Chocobo Sage a lot, almost as if they had been good friends. Alex had always wondered if they had been friends, and if the Sage even existed. Still, now he had to go home, his Father would be waiting. He slowly walked home and imagined what would happen if he was a Jockey.



Four people stood on top of a hill, overlooking Alex's house, "I think that he is the one." A female looked at him, "How can you be sure?"

"I can just feel it."

The leader of the group, whom was a male interrupted the conversation, "I can feel it also." The other female nodded," Me too." The other female looked at them all,

"If he is, when do we tell him."

The leader noticed a dark patch of land moving across the ground towards Alex, "By the looks of it, soon."

I know what you mean,but I wrote this on tuesday and forgot about that.
The next chapter has lots more.

 

It's not,I have tried before but this is the first that I'm going to go all the way through with.

 

Chapter 2



Alex had noticed the dark at first, but overlooked it as a shadow. It was only when it surrounded him that he questioned it, "What…what is this." The shadow disappeared and from the ground came beings made from only dark, they stood at around 1 foot and their eyes glowed. They had practically no features what so ever, although they did have antennae. A strange sword appeared in Alex's hand, it's hilt was made of gold in a square shape with a metal pole with grip on running through the middle of it, the pole stuck out of the hilt and shun, as it is made of silver. The whole thing was just over 3 feet long and at the end of the pole was like the end of a key, with a crown design cut into it, "What….is this…"



He swung the blade around a bit, randomly killing the monsters that were trying to kill him, he continued to swing until he had killed 4 of the seven beasts. Now he was getting used to the weapon, the three remaining monsters all jumped into the air simultaneously. Alex jumped in the air and back flipped, as if he was pole vaulting, he swung the weapon as he was doing this, killing one of the monsters. He landed on the ground and rolled out the way of an incoming attack. He picked himself up and rushed at a monster. Swiping it with his sword as he ran past, it disappeared. The last one was no-where to be seen, he looked all around him, but to no avail. Suddenly the monster popped up and hit him to the ground, Alex primed his weapon as the monster jumped at his body. At just the right moment, he slashed and killed the monster.



"He handles those Heartless well." The leader said, the youngest interrupted him, "But sir, look!" Down below they saw a darkness swallowing Alex down into the ground.

 

You do get what the weapon is,don't you?

Chapter 3



The darkness was still swallowing him, all that was left was most of his head and his right arm, eventually, he was gone.



Alex landed on a massive flat tower, it stood as high as he could imagine and had a massive picture of a Chocobo engraved on it and coloured,the Chocobo was golden and seemed to shine,even though it was just a picture.The sky around him was black,and the only light was that of the Golden Chocobo,it was a wonder he could see ahead of him,Alex did not speak,he only wondered.

He stood up and slowly walked,in wonder,to the edge of the tower.He peered over the edge to see that what he was standing on,was infact floating, he jumped back and stumbled,falling over. He looked up at the sky to see some kind of figure rapidly falling towards him,it was as large as the surface and circular in shape.He ran to the edge of the plate and almost jumped off,but his concious wouldn't allow it....

The figure landed on the plate,smashing it like glass before it touched Alex,causing them both to freefall downwards.He realised that it was the shape of a tortoise,but the colour of brown and significantly large. They landed on another tower,the tortiose landed above him again,"Bring it." He looked at his hand,there was no weapon,"Whe...where did it go." This time the tower was much wider,at least 7 times the size of the last.Though this time there was a picture of Alex engraved on it,the picture was perfect and definitley him.

 

I know about the length,but if I had merged it with the next chapter,it would have been too long.
