Welcome to The Watch. Let us all fight to keep the peace of this beautiful land known as Ivalce. Be you Hume, Viera or Moogle, we want you. Sign up today and let's create a better Country for every race alike.

    CLASS PROGRESSION

The Ivalice Watch features a unique Class/Job System that is to be used to show off to other members and in the groups own private RP (soon to be released).

Your RP name will be whatever you display name is. You should display your character info in your sig like this:

Class: Example. Soldier. If you have mastered two classes, then display them like this: Soldier/Pugilist.

Level: Levels will be explained later.

Skills: You are allowed a support skill and a reaction skill (only available once a class has been mastered). If you have two skills, display them like this: Monkeygrip/Counter.

Summons: Summons (Espers) are rewarded for contributing to the group. At the moment, only one Summon per member is allowed (unless you fulfil certain requirements).

Equipment: Equipment is also gained through contribution. Certain super powered items that aren’t classed as legendary within the actual Ivalice Universe have been upgraded to legendary status for the sake of the RP.

There are a number of ways that you can make your character stronger.

Join The Watch = Member (Freelancer Class - Can only use basic equipment).

Set The Ivalice Watch Emblem as your Profile Picture = Gain an extra ability for your current class.

Invite 10+ members to The Watch = A class progression of your choice (if already gained a class, you can now upgrade to a linked class. Example: Thief - Ninja or Archer to Hunter).

Invite 20+ members to The Watch = A second class progression of your choice (if you have already had two class changes, you can now combine two classes. Example: Previously a Soldier and a Fighter/Pugilist - Skill Set becomes Arts of War/Pugilism).

Post 10+ Pictures in the gallery = A piece of equipment of your choice - depending on class and level (legendary equipment not allowed).

Create emblems and group sigs = A complete skill set for your current class (apart from final attack).

Comment on the group message board 150+ times = A personal summon of your choice (only five members per summon).

Comment on the group message board 300+ times = The ultimate weapon or the best piece of armour for your current class.

Complete all of the above and you will be promoted to an Ivalice Watch Officer of the Peace (this entitles you to two extra summons of your choice and 99 Elixers).

Additional ways of gaining items, skills and summons may be added later so check back regularly for updates.

    HOW TO GAIN LEVELS

IMPORTANT: In order to gain levels, members must participate in either the main story RP or a side quest set up by one of the leaders of the watch (monster hunt or an item hunt are good examples).

    This is how it works:

In order to gain a level, a member must defeat an enemy that is a higher level than them. Depending on what level you are, you will have to defeat a certain number of monsters.

Everyone begins at level 1. In order to progress to level 2, you will have to defeat two level 2 enemies. In order to progress to level 3, you will have to defeat three level 3 enemies. Simple isn’t it? It will get harder to defeat a foe as their levels get higher, this is why you should always RP in groups. This makes it easier to defeat one foe. However, you may gain a level but if you RP in groups, you won’t be rewarded with an item or money when the battle is over. So think carefully about if you can defeat the monster on your own or not.

    HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR STATS

Your characters stats will be decided through your current level and equipment using a simple sum.

Equipments Attack/Defence/Magic/Resistance Stat multiplied by Your Level and then divided by twelve. Here’s a example of a weapon (attack stat):

    45 x 30 ÷ 12 = 112 = 112 Attack Stat

If you work the sum out on a calculator and your answer has a decimal like this: 112.3 then round it DOWN to the nearest whole number, in this case it would be 112. If it has an answer with a decimal like this: 112.5 then round it UP to the nearest whole number, in that case, it would be 113.

HOW TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH DAMAGE YOU DO IN BATTLE

Again, you will be using a sum to work out how much damage you can deal to an enemy in the RP. This time you will need to multiply your overall attack power by your current level and divide by twelve. Here’s an example:

    20 x 80 ÷ 12 = 133 = 133 Average Damage Dealt in Battle

    Simple isn’t it?

A calculator would come in handy when playing this RP as most stats will need to use the stat calculation sums to work out the exact numbers.

Here is the long awaited full list of summons. (Alexander has been left out of the list as he is now a Mark)
