The Final Kingdom RP

Story​

It's been years since Sora wiped out the Organization and made the worlds safe once more. But, a past event that the keyblade master witnessed on his journey was far more important than he could have ever imagined. When Cloud took up his sword and fought Sephiroth near the end of Kingdom Hearts 2 (the fight after which you get the Fenrir keyblade) the two disappeared into a burst of light, ending up in another realm. No one thought much of their disappearance, but unbeknownst to them, Cloud was winning the fight. The pure light he suddenly had gained control over was aiding him greatly in fighting the intimidating SOLDIER, and was too much for Sephiroth to overcome in the end. He was defeated, and disappeared into the realm of darkness that all Nobodies and Heartless vanish to after their defeat.

Once he found himself there, Sephiroth met none other than Xemnas and the rest of Organization XIII. He struck a bargain with them - if they used their powers to resurrect him, he would bring them back with him, along with all the other dark creatures that Sora had worked so hard to defeat. The instantly agreed, and Sephiroth was revived - bringing darkness and Organization XIII back to wreak havoc throughout the worlds. This in turn brought back Roxas, who Sephiroth had restored unknowingly while restoring the rest of the Organization to life. Roxas found himself in his own body, no longer a part of Sora and no longer holding half his memories: he was finally his own person, but at a cost - the Organization beckoned him to join their ranks once more, and having nowhere else to go, he reluctantly had to accept. At least until he found his own place in the world, he told himself.

Now that the darkness and Organization XIII , not to mention Sephiroth, are back, what will become of the worlds? To vanquish the evil once more there will have to be many more heroes than just one keyblade master on his own. Take up your weapons and join the fight...

Thaen woke up to her brother yelling at her again.

"Thaen! I need you to go and get something from Cid," he called from the front room. Groaning, Thaen got up from the floor of her room where she was busily drawing and went downstairs.

""What do you need?" she asked irritably.

"He had a package for me or something from home," Squall replied, not looking up from the gun he was fixing on the table by the couch. "I'm busy right now, though, so I'd appreciate it if you'd go."

Of course he would, Thaen thought to herself. "Okay," was what she said, though, and headed out the front door.

"Be careful. You know Heartless will pop up anywhere," her brother added as a warning before she shut the door. Thaen just sighed and shook her head. He was always so overprotective.

 

The main thing on Thaen's mind was wondering what could possibly be in that package that was so important. The only way she'd really care about what was in it was if it was stuffed with chocolates or something. Ellone sometimes was nice enough to remember that their brother wasn't very fond of candy - unfortunately, Thaen was, so living in the same house as him got hard sometimes.

Humming something and with thoughts of candy filling her head, Thaen was surprised to hear someone calling her name.

"Hey, Thaen!!"

 

Thaen turned to see someone she knew quite well running her way. She smiled, but it quickly faded when she saw the state Roxas was in.

"Roxas?....." she said, heading towards him, "You all right?

He looked stressed, like he had something on his mind, but he only shook his head. "I'll tell you later," he said. "But I did want to tell you, I saw some new girl on the way over here. I thought maybe you knew her so I came to ask you first."

 

"Hmmm?.....new girl?" Thaen blinked, shaking her head. "I haven't seen anyone new around here lately. Where'd you see her again?"

Her friend pointed back the way he had come. "I'll show you if you want," he said. "She looked a little....dazed."

"Well, let's go see if we can help her out, then," Thaen replied, already heading the way he had indicated, curious about this newcomer. "Come on!"

She led the way down the cobblestone streets, Roxas following not far behind.

 

"...!" Roxas grabbed Thaen roughly by the shoulder as soon as he noticed the armed stranger in front of them, shoving her to the side and glaring at the newcomer as she looked at both of them in pure shock. His own weapons appeared in his hands, staring him down warily.

"Who are you?" he asked, or more like it, demanded.

 

The two of them stood watching Dion with varied expressions: Thaen's one of shock and horror, and Roxas's simply a look of anger and defiance. He tightened his grip on his keyblades, considering what his first move should be.

"She's not a nobody," he said, "she's my friend. But if you want a fight, you'll get one."

"Roxas! We don't even know what this guy's capable of!..." Thaen said, trying to be the voice of reason. "Don't just jump blindly into a fight! M-maybe we should just talk this out..."

Growling, he could see that she did have a point.

"Okay," Roxas said, sticking Oathkeeper into the ground while keeping a firm grip on Oblivion, "You heard her. Tell me what you want and we can talk this out first, or you really will get to see what these keyblades can do."

 

There's just no reasoning with this guy, Roxas thought silently, his blue eyes starting to narrow. He pulled Oathkeeper out of the ground and held it firmly in his other hand.

"Have it your way, then," he answered, and leaped for him with both of his weapons drawn back for a strong blow.
