Alex's fist was pounding like his heart making the blood on his knuckles tremble. Alex was breathing heavily, his black hair was in his face hiding his blue eyes. Anger was pouring out from his body as he looked at the teenager that was lying on the floor next to him. His body limply sprawled infront of the cold, metal lockers.

"Alex! come with me!" a teacher had been behind him, he was standing in between Alex and the boy. The teacher rubbed his fore head in distress. "Your father will heard about it, I will make it sure." The teachers words were jumbled from stress.

"Can't you finish your sentence old man? It's 'make sure of it'...Idiot." He rolled his eyes as they walked down the halls. Two nurses walked past them towards the other boy. "If only Brandon was here he could've punched the guy for me...Stephanie is going to be pissed." He sighed audibly. "I promised her and myself I wouldn't get into any more fights...hell, I didn't think I could get into fights. At least not like this"

"You will watch your language Alex!" The teacher shouted again.

"Yeah ok, what ever...just hurry up." He retorted.

 

Alex tilted his head back hearing the shuffle of someones feet close behind him. He heard Brandon chuckling out a remark. "It only took one, give or a take a few extra punches for added effect." A grin formed on the edge of his face as he went backwards in his mind to the fight.

"You keep your comments to your self young man." the teacher replied to Brandon as if he were the accomplished one in the group. "You youngsters think you can go around just doing whatever you want to do, well thats not how it works." The man made a defined face trying to seem either professional or intimidating. Alex laughed as the teacher moved the hair on his head from one place to another.

"You know, I might take you more seriously if your tupee' wasn't crooked old man." He couldn't help but smile to take his mind off of a serious conversation.

 

They came to the office as Brandon caught up with them. Alex looked around the boring room seeing that not much had changed, he had been in that room many times before in the past year. "Man this school is dull," He pointed out to all who listened.

The teacher lead them into a small room with a round table, a coffee machine and some chairs. Alex sat down with out hesitation and propped his feet up on the table. "Sorry if I get some blood on it." He said while smiling. The teacher sighed and then pulled out his cell phone.

"Luckily I have almost all of the Junior students' numbers memorized." Alex twitched a little hearing the man say that. All he could think of was the boring life this teacher must have led.

"Wow...you don't have a life do you?" Alex asked rudely. The teachers face stayed morphed in a sly look as if he had conquerd a foreign country.

"I have plenty of a life thank you, part of it is keeping you out of trouble." The man replied.

 

Alex tried to listen to the teacher the best of his ability just so he could find something else to make fun of him for. He turned his head to Brandon as he spoke a few words and exited the room. "All right man I'll see you at the car." Alex let out a sigh all ready being past the point of boredom.

"I'll have you know Alex, this is a serious situation you will be suspended for at least 2 weeks, or more if you keep insulting me." The cell phone began to ring which is what a phone usually does. A masculine voice peered through the phone as his father answered the teacher.

"Hello?" his voice was raspy and unclean.

"Yes this is Chris Walker a teacher here at Eagle Brooke High, your son Alex is suspended for beating up one of our students."

Alex popped into the conversation. "He knows what school this is dip shit." he sighed once more.

"Way to go Alex, tell that sucker!" His fathers voice sounded excited however, Alex looked unhappy.

"I'll have you know sir, now your son is suspended even more so then he would have been, He is not to return to school for 5 weeks."

"All right well send him home then 'teach'," his dads voice had become sarcastic.

"Whatever, I'm leaving this hell hole." Alex got up from the table and walked out the door as the teacher hung up his phone. Alex eventually ended up next to Brandonas he played a few notes on his Bass. "Lets get out of here, I'm fucking sick of this place." He told Brandon.

 

Alex followed Alex down to the car and began to answer his questions. "I'm out for 5 weeks this time," he paused for a minute."The guy had it coming to him, he was talking shit about my mom." Alex rubbed his forehead in despair as they came up to the car.

The guy had been something Brandon was saving up for for a very long time. It was a nice car so Alex didn't blame him. Alex's car was in the shop because his dad wreck it when he got too comforted with his whore of a girl friend.

"My doesn't care, you know that as well as I do, he's never cared." Alex sat down in the passenger seat. "He was probably too busy with Melissa or cracking out with his buddies." Alex paused once again thinking about the hard time his dad would give him when he got home. "Hey Brandon, you mind if I stay at your place tonight? I don't want to have to deal with that jack ass."

 

Alex nodded his head in gratitude at Brandon. "Thanks man...uh yeah sure, I dould go for a bite to eat." He said as he placed his hands on his stomach. "I havn't eaten since dinner last night, my older brother came over and there as only enough food for him and dad."

He stared up at the red light, it reminded him of two eyes peering down at them.
"And CJ is staying with Aunt Kelly so I don't have to worry about him." His little brother CJ was the only person he looked fward to seeing when he got home after school.

 

Alex tilted his head towards the back seat acknowledging Will. "Hey will," Alex threw up his hand to wave. He then turned to Brandon."We have a gig tomorrow? Well I guess that new song is out of the question, we havn't practiced it at all, I mean I only wrote it a few days ago." He shook his head. "Oh well we'll so some of our other ones." Alex said calmly.
