"It's getting away!" Meisters and their death weapons made chase through the thick dense forest.

That's when darkness fell upon them, shadow of the night. Their screams rung out before...

silence.​

The sun was high in the sky chuckling over the famous Death Meister and Weapon Academy.

Young adults around the age of 10-15 were gathered around. It was the first day of entrance into the DMWA, young people ages 10-13 were accepted into normal classes, students 13-15 were beginning their time as official upper students.

These students were the one's hoping to find their weapon and meister partners for the first time and begin their journey as partners towards the goal of becoming a master meister and death weapons.

It was an exciting time every 3 years when it happens. Professors stood out on a balcony above looking down on the students. They were happy to see these partnerships forge starting that day, but in the current day and age, it was a worry.

A new danger has introduced itself to the world. Master meisters and death weapons have been disappearing. Some reported to have joined them, but their beings changing to 'join' them.

They weren't completely know of what they were. But more and more people associated them with vampires. They ate souls, sucked them from people, slowly and painfully, but what was even scarier, those they seemed of great potential, they could change them into one of their kind.

They were like witches with powers. Most were shape shifters, not just into bats like the cartoons, but any animal or shape, all seemed to have magic like witches. Their leader was well on his way to being a kishin, a kishin not seen in that world in over 100 years, where the last kishin released onto the world was defeated by Maka Albarn.

Death was determined they would eventually beat this growing threat, and had even believed that perhaps the one to do it would be amongst the students, just like Maka Albarn.

They could be meeting their partner and joining the forces that very day.

Name: Esmerelda Silver, just goes by her last name Silver

Weapon or Meister: Weapon - Bō / long staff (see abilities)
Abilities:
Bō Transformation. As a Bō, she function as a fighting staff, be detracted to be a foot long, she can extend out to be just a metal rod, extend out to the ends being sharp blades, extend out wings to act as a glider, as well as extending from the foot long length a single blade to act as a dagger or knife. She's quite multifunctional, and this is all done without a change in any form, it's just a matter of a soul connection command with her meister. Everyday she learns how to transform her metal rod being into other forms, however it typically takes time to master new appearances.

Swift: due to her lightweight weapon form, she helps deliver swift attacks and speed attacks more than anything else.

Silver is a down to Earth girl. She's friendly and kind and super intelligent. She enjoys the outdoors. However, Silver is also shy and quiet. It's a sort of more innocent side.

She can be stubborn at times but she's extremely loyal especially to her meister.

Silver stands approximately 5'7", tall and skinny, she is usually wearing a white button blouse under a cotton varsity type sweatshirt jacket. She wears a green tie knotted loosely that matches her eyes and a crystal pendant from her grandparents, for luck. She has a short grey skirt, long black socks extending a little beyond her knees, and brown casual dress like shoes. Her hair is usually kept down. Her most unique feature is her emerald green eyes that upon closer evaluations one sees there are slivers of silver as well. They match her soul color.

As a weapon, she may appear very differently depending on the function. She is usually a silver metal rod extending about 5-7 feet depending on the day or use, but she may appear as a silver glider in the shape of a dragon with emerald eyes.

Biography: Esmerelda Silver was born May 16, 2035 to a single American mother and a Chinese acrobat demon weapon.

Her mother wasted away all the money she had to run away from home going to the farthest place she could think of which happened to be Tokyo. Once there she lived out on the street before finding "luck" through an underground businessman who operated a prostitute service. Her mother was guaranteed a place to stay which was just a studio apartment with several mattress laid out for 8 other woman to live in, while providing services in a separate apartment down the hall or traveling to provide services.

This place was better than any other option which before consisted of wherever shelter could be found. Plus she was also receiving money to purchase food and to start putting it away in order to one day get her own apartment and perhaps perform her own services.

Her mother was a full time prostitute. She hardly slept, and was always the first to take on a client. She always provided well and was always being requested. In the underground business, her reputation spread like wild fire, and she was constantly keeping busy.

A traveling Chinese circus made up of smugglers was in Tokyo for a performance and one of the performers, a demon weapon, was interested in the services. He was impressed by her and requested her to travel with him. She accepted, and left the prostitute business.

But while traveling with the acrobatic demon weapon she managed to become pregnant during their travel. She saw no use to a baby or child and wished to get rid of it. The acrobat though saw it as another performer to join the circus and he could sense the unborn child would be a demon weapon, more the reason to have a child.

While performing in New York City, the infant was born prematurely due to her mother trying to kill the infant. Saved and sill alive, Esmerelda Silver was brought into the world in unsafe conditions, but it was clear she was a strong infant.

To make matters worst for the couple but perhaps better for the infant, Silver's mother was recognized from a missing person's ad and police came to collect her. The Chinese circus was arrested for their smuggling crime and so was Silver's mother with charges of smuggling and prostitution.

Esmerelda Silver was then taken in by her grandparents who lived in Boston. Silver lived a good life, she was cared for by her grandparents who taught her as many good lessons they possibly could. They also still hoped Silver's mother could be redeemed so they often brought Silver to visit her mother in prison, the visits were never pleasant, but Silver still went.

At first the visits were hurtful, but after each visit, Silver sat their emotionless not bothered by insults thrown at her or her grandparents.

When Silver was 9, Silver's mother was released to the custody of Silver's grandparents, meaning their home. It was not peaceful as the household broke out in verbal fights all the time in which Silver would hide herself up in her bedroom hiding from it all.

It was around this time during a verbal fight she screamed wanting to escape and get away herself that she transformed into a weapon for the first time. She found herself lost in a dark abyss for what must of been several days. She had escaped into her mind, in some ways becoming unconscious in the physical world stuck in a weapon transformation.

Her grandparents knowing about the DWMA they immediately took their weapon state stuck granddaughter to the DWMA who thanks to some of the professors were able to pull her from her unconscious state and awaken her to transform her back into her human form.

It was from that day on that she was enrolled in the DWMA as a student.

When was was 13, Silver finally met her meister. And she's been loyal to them ever since.
