Kiro sat in the sand, watching the waves slosh against the surface but as he listened to the waves, he felt his eyes droop. Immediately, he yawned and as the thoughts of sleeping sank into his head, he laid on the smooth sand and closed his eyes. The boy was daydreaming, as he imagined himself holding the keyblade in hand and travelling across the worlds. The teenager wanted to explore the sights, smells and tastes, the cultures of different worlds and he wanted to meet new people, who would eventually become his life long friends like Leon and his father, Sora. The son admired his father, who was brave, strong and clever....well maybe not as his mother would put it sometimes. He then thought about that girl he met 4 years ago, who gave him a medallion. He still remembered that day when he saved the girl from the ocean. Now thinking about it, it sounded like a cliche of some kind. He held the medallion, which was around his neck, wanting to explore so he could find her; people thought he was an idiot for thinking about a girl for this long but she was different; he had the feeling she was from another world.

Sera got out of her little row boatand stood on the dock of the place where she played as a child with her good friend. She looked over on the beach and saw Kiro sitting on the beach.

"Kiro!" She exclaimed and ran over to her friend. She got closer and stopped seeing him messing with a medallion in his hand. She knew the story and she sighed. A story though, her entire life she's been around Kiro, pratically her brother she never had. The thing that was fishy was she never met this girl. She wanted to believe her best friend but even then when she spoke to her father about it he said it was too fishy.

Sera shook the thought away and ran over to him and sat down next to him. She looked over at the medelion. It was like a shiny little piece you'd think you'd find in a pirate's treasure chest or something.

"You thinking about... her again?" She asked almost saying it but she didn't want to seem like she didn't believe Kiro, she wasn't sure what to think.

The smell and the feel of the salty sea air whistleing past her ears and through her hair was a thrill to Emily, still even now. She had just gone from sunset to sunrise in little over a few seconds, the flying dutchman had just crossed the horizon between the living world and the world of those dead at sea, for the first time in months. The sunrise looked beautiful on the horizon, casting a deep sparkling red glow over her home (the ocean). Emily loved being here where she stood now, in the watchtower on her father's ship, looking at the first horizon in her vision of the living world after being in the dead world. She took a deep breath, having not slept in 42 hours, she was pretty tired.
Suddenly, a different sound than the sound of the waves interrupted her throughts. "Emily!"
It was her dad's voice, from the deck. She looked down, he looked so small all the way down there. "Hello Father!" she called back to him, shooting him a sarcastic salute.
William Turner raised an eyebrow and beconed his daughter down, his mouth turned in a half smile.
"Aye Capitain." she laughed and jumped from the watch tower to the rope ladder that would lead back to the ground.
About three fourths of the way down, she allowed her feet to slide through the ladder and then she let go with her hands, falling only a short distance and then hanging upside down at eye level with her dad.
    "You rang?" she said cheerfully.
"Emily." Will started "What would you think if I told you, maybe it's time to some time on land?"
Emily frowned "Well yeah... but it hasn't been ten years yet daddy. You can't-" then she understood what he was saying and her knees gave in, "Woa!" she fell off the ladder and onto the deck. "Ow." she muttered, rubbing the back of her head.
She was back on her feet and asking questions before her dad had time to say anything "Wait! You want me to go home!?"
Will nodded "Well, not exactly. Port Royale is too far away from here."
"Wheew." she breathed a sigh of relief "Dont scare me like that." she scolded him. She smiled "So whats the plan for today?"
    "Destiny." he answered.
Emily laughed "Aren't you a little old for that stuff dad?" she teased. Her dad didnt look a day over 24, seeing as he hasn't aged since he became the capitain of the Dutchman but she gave him hell about his age most of the time anyway.
"Destiny Island." Will shot back, ignoring his daughter's comment. "We have some cargo to drop off there."
Suspicion crossed Emily's face "Cargo? By cargo you mean?"
"Short, Blonde, Annoying." a voice joked from a distance away. Father and daughter both looked at once to see who the newcommer was.
"Oh we're dropping grandpa off?" Emily said, just as jokingly as Bill Turner had.
Then she got serious, "Whats Destiny Island? Why There? Why At all? Dad you promised..."
"That you could stay with us as long as you weren't in danger." he finished her sentance for her.
"You forget, you arent a part of the crew so you aren't completely immortal. Where we're going would be dangerous for you. Destiny Island is the only island I know that you'll stay out of trouble on, and it's not far from here."
"Can you at least tell me where you're going?" she complained.
"Not a chance." Will and Bill both said at the same time.
"Now go pack your things, Em. We'll be there soon."
"You're just going to marune me on an island and leave?" Emily said, but she was already turning around to do as he said. She was mad, but she made a promise that she would obey his orders like part of the crew as long as she was on the ship. She hated rules, but when she made a promise, she would always keep it.
"It's a populated and friendly island and there are kids your age all over the place. I think you'll survive until I can come back for you." Will said.
"Fine. But I'm not happy about this." Emily said.
    "Tough." Bill called after her.
Emily stuck her tongue out at him but she wasn't at all serious. She wasn't too heartbroken. This wasn't the first time her dad hid her out of the way. At least this time, there were people on the island. There was one time he left her for three days on a completely unpopulated little place. Of course, she knew how to take care of herself and it was never for more than a couple days. She learned not to argue with her dad becuause he was just as stubborn as she was, and he had an entire crew to back him up if she tried to stay against his will. Besides, "Destiny Island" sounded interesting. She had a feeling she could easily turn this into a whole new adventure...

Kiro laid his head back into the sand.
"Yeah...sorry Sera, I didn't know you were the jealous type..." he joked with a grin etched across his face.
With his hair now raggly with sand scarring across his long brown hair, he stood up and looked out to the oceans.
"I want to get out there some day...not just because of her, its everything; the stars, the people, the things that are waiting in store for us."
Kiro smiled filling in her thoughts, "and yes, you are invited to come with my dad and I when I am able to get out there. I should ask him now actually; after all, my dad was 14, when his adventure began."
With an ushering of his hand, wanting her to follow him, he started to walk along the streets of Destiny Islands.

Sera lightly and jokely punched him in the arm.

"I am soooo not the jealous type!" She said trying to hide the joking grin she had and make it seem like she was mad. Sera nodded.

"Like both our dads. More importantly I want to see how different our world is, maybe meet some sort of famous hero of Olympia or a warrior of a powerful empire or the king of a great castle! I want to meet them, not just the same old island with the townsfolk." Sera stated her reason. "Plus even then I'd help you find this amazing girl friend of yours." She teased him back.

Sera stood up and followed him up the streets of Destiny Islands to speak to Sora who would in turn speak to her own father. It was her overly protective father she worried about letting her. Sora told Kiro one day he'd take him to other worlds, Sera's father told her never that it's too dangerous.

"Are you sure that's such a good idea?" Emily was saying. She was sitting cross legged on the floor of the ship, her dad was steering the ship at the moment and she just hung around because she was bored and because he wanted to talk to her about her stay on Destiny Island.
"Yes I think it's a great idea. The school year is just about over there, it's not like you'll have to be there all day every day every day you are there. It will give you something to do and you'll maybe meet friends like a normal girl should."
"I'm not a normal girl." Emily argued.
Will laughed "Of course not. But it would make your stay on the Island more fun if you tried."
Emily sighed, knowing he was right "Fine. I'll go to Destiny High School for the last week it's in session." she said.
"Good. Then you'll be leaving your sword and your gun here."
    "What?"
"Well it's not going to do you much good on a totally peaceful island. Besides, you'll get in trouble if you get caught at school with it."
Emily rolled her eyes "Fine." she said. But she had no intention of following that rule. She was a bit paranoyed like that but the girl's sword was like a regular teen girl's cellphone. Besides, it got her out of a lot of dangerous situations before. She wasn't about to leave it, no matter where she was going.
"And don't go around telling people where your from and things like that." her dad was saying "I know it's a peaceful island but that doesn't mean you can't bring trouble to it if some of my 'friends' find out you're there. The fact that it's a peaceful place is our biggest strength because no one will know who you are and there isn't much pirate action there. But it's also our greatest weakness because if someone does find out your there, or if any other danger comes along, no one will be able to protect you or the island."
Emily paused "...you sure it's not a good idea for me to have my weapons?" she said.
Will thought about it for a minute "You better bring them." he agreed after a moment "But don't go causing a scene with them. They stay hidden unless you have a dire need for them."
    "Agreed." Emily said triumphantly.
She could see land in the distance. "Is that it?" she asked.
Will squinted to see what she was looking at, against the brightness of the day reflecting off the waves. "Yes." he nodded.
Emily stood up and stretched "Just tell me when to start swimming." she said with a yawn.
"Not until we get a lot closer to the island. There are two islands to this world. One is the civilization, the other is just a little island where a lot of the children play. We're going to stay out here for now..."
as he spoke, Emily could see the crew moving to drop the anchor.
"...When it gets dark and all the children are gone and sleeping, we'll drop you off there. For now, we wait."
