Regarding Activity

For all those who are familiar with the recent events we all know that since then activity on the forums went down. However, as time passed, activity has gone down even further in the last few months. I've been wandering the boards during my time of being banned from the site for Irrelevant Posts so I decided that I need to make up for what I did and to keep these forums alive because I truly love this place and would hate to see it die in the coming days, months, or years.

I've seen forums die before because I've been apart of a forum that had the same problem. It wasn't a particularly pretty site.

Now I do understand that people here are growing up and getting caught up with their jobs and whatnot but I would like to make a few suggestions to those who are able to post when they have the time. Whether or not you agree with me is your opinion, I'm just trying to help a place that I've come to like very much.

• Logging in is a good place to start. It gets you motivated to post.
• Subscribe to threads by editing your options or by simply going to the Thread Tools tab and click Subscribe to thread.
• Hit up the new posts in the New Posts tab above under our awesome banner.
• Go to Today's Posts to get a better view of what happened while you were gone.
• Send Visitor Messages, Private Messages, etc. and make contact and interact with other users outside of posts.
• Create new threads instead of having old threads have necroposts in them.
• Try out the Debates...they're always fun to do and it gives you something to do.
• Go to our largely expanded Arcade. We have lots of games to play so um...play them?
• Participate in Tournaments. It gives you something to do and a little bragging rights if you win (no promises there).
• Create and join RP's. KHP in my opinion is well known for its wide array of RP's ready to be posted in by members of our caliber.
• Subscribe to User Groups after joining them to actually get to have them active and thriving.
• Make User Groups!
• Stay as active as you possibly can.
• Take the time to maybe write or create your own fan fiction. We sure as hell have a lot of them.
• Take the time to think of interesting and engrossing threads that will have people interested in jumping into the discussion.
• Take the time to explore the forums and whatnot and maybe make a few suggestions here and there to make us bigger and better.
• Invite your friends! Have them place your username in the referrals.
• Recommend constructive and encouraging additions to our website by contacting our staff. It never hurts to have an upgraded forum. No seriously, it doesn't!
• ...Bug a few people to get back into posting. It may work

I really would like to help out this forum to make it better than it already is. But we all have to pull our own weight here guys, it's the only way it can work

 

Well you can always edit your subscriptions so you get no emails so that was kind of dumb. You're the guy that usually brings up religion so, yeah. I'm aqua009 is one of those people that is busy with other things in life. Also, what do you mean these things are impossible? I'm sure most of us have friends that are interested in forums about things that they actually understand and want to talk about.

I think he may be referring to the wars that happened over in the AnimeMB Forums.

 

I'm sure that won't really happen but back on task here. What can we do besides these things to help the forums get back on track?

 

I would be kind of hard knowing that none of them ever played a single Kingdom Hearts title :-/

 

I agree with you on this. If it isn't to much troulbe for most of you guys/gals, could you maybe spread the word to friends that you know would be interested?

We don't mean that we're only bringing up the Roleplay section dude, KHP is well known for its number of (relatively good) RP's and it's good to build on strengths. But you're right that we need to fill in the empty spaces here.

 

Spam City was apart of a major reason why much of the activity went down. Even though those of us (me included) stepped over the boundaries big time it was a place that could help us pass the time.

 

I'll have to agree, with people living in different timezones educational events may be different than in the US here but then again, panicing could be what helps us to sort of add a buffer to the current events.
