Okay so I've decided to try to get through the game in proud mode do you guys have any tips for getting through to the end (that's with all episodes)?

Ven's mode is probably the easiest. To be honest, you probably wont need to play much different than if you were playing in a normal mode. Just make sure you have the hang of blocking (this goes for all modes).

Aqua's mode starts off quite difficult, but later on in the game becomes quite easy. My tips for her is to grind until you're about level 7-10 inside the palace in Cinderella's world and you should be good.

Terra's is the hardest, I find. To be honest I kind of struggled through his mode so I don't have much tips other than to just push through and grind. His was the only mode I could not complete on critical lv.1

Also, it's helpful to get some good abilities, like second chance and leaf bracer etc., quite early. The command board is useful for leveling them up quickly (and if you use the command board, use the one in the mirage arena so you can clock up coins there).

Hope you found this somewhat useful ^-^

I haven't played Tera's or Ventus's story, to be honest...

I've only played Aqua, but I can give some tips about her proud mode:

If you've played Aqua before on different mods, you probably noticed that in the beginning it's quite difficult, if not challenging. The same thing applies to proud mode; the beginning is very challenging, and the hardest moment you'll go through is pretty much at Cinderella's castle, so I suggest leveling and farm on the enemies there as much as you can there before going on. The rest is pretty easy..

Oh, and typically a boss you should watch out for: Maleficent in dragon form.
Out of all bosses for Aqua in proud mode, I found that Maleficent was the most challenging ..... (but that's just my opinion).
Sooo... just keep in mind when you get there, bring tons and tons of potions... orz..

    and as always,
watch out for your health bar throughout the whole game.

Okay I'll keep that stuff in mind. If you guys think of anything else let me know.

To tell you the truth, I rarely use any potions. But anyway, for Proud Mode, I suggest just having at least one or two cure spells in there, especially if you just want to fight in the Mirage Arena. Well, in my opinion, Aqua is the easiest, followed off by Ventus and then Terra. What you are best suited for will determine which character you would like to use. Now, this is what I recommend for you:

    1. Shotlocks, D-Links and Commands: Make good use of them. Since the enemies will deal more damage, it is naturally (To me anyway) to play cautious if you can and try to finish them the easy way. Make use of your Shotlock attacks and if you run out and then make use of your attacks and magic to refill it back up. D-Links are actually quite useful since it can restore all of your HP (health). Make good use of that so that you can easily bring it to its full potential once you collect D-Links Emblems from the enemies.

The others told you to grind but in all honesty in my opinion, Shotlocks, D-Links and Commands are the main reason (For me) to grind. Once you are done with one world, you can go back to it again once you gain your new D-Link and start fighting enemies to try to get some D-Link Emblems to rise it to the highest. Very important to have your Shotlocks, D-Links and Commands to be at the highest so that you can easily do more damage and make more commands.

Aqua: She is the magic-type (And the reason why I found her easy since I never died with her except in the Mirage Arena and Braig at the ending). She is actually the balanced type in my opinion since she can cover a 360 degree around her to block attacks (Not all attacks will be blocked) and if you have Counter Blast attached to it, you will be able to counter attack. Now, I think that the reason why the others actually believe that she is difficult to play at first is because she is not as fast as Ventus, does not do as much damage as Terra and the enemies actually hit hard (I played Critical Mode with Aqua my first time around so if they are having problems with using her in Proud Mode, they may not be able to handle Critical Mode). But I know that she already have magic at her disposal. Take advantage of her magic to get rid of them. You should also use your Shotlock abilities more often. That is what I usually do often: Shotlock and then magic and a few physical attacks to raise the Shotlock gauge back up again. If you really want to do some grinding, then why not go to the Mirage Arena. The Wheel of Misfortune Event can give Aqua the Max HP: +5 if you win that.

Ventus: He is the fastest so make good use of his speed. There are two attacks which make me like him a little bit more than Aqua: Salvation and Faith. You should hurry and try to make those commands. Those two can deal huge damage to enemies and can heal you at the same time. If you hurry and make those two commands, you will fly through each worlds very fast. I only discovered these two commands while fighting in the Mirage Arena so I am giving you an advantage to try this. However, he dodge roll so do not assume you can use Barrier like Aqua. As always, use Shotlocks and D-Links.

Terra: He feels heavy for me so I am not a fan for him and he is the only character who I used for Proud mode. He has a lot of strength though but I am a magic-fan but make good use of his strength and focus more on commands that deals physical damage. Do not leave magic out though. Shotlocks and D-Links as always.

And that is all that I have to say. Hope this help.
