Profile Forum Rules

Welcome to the profile forum, here you find profiles for KHPlanet RP'ers. These profiles contained all premade RP characters for use in RP's and the KHPlanet RP Arena.

There are a few new rules to abide by for this section which have gone into affect 6 March, 2011.


Rules-
~Profile forum is for use of premade characters only which RP'ers can copy their character from their profile thread into an ooc of a particular RP.
~No spam!
~No mary sue characters should be found
~No godmod characters
~Note all characters made and presented in a RP Profile Thread is open for a RP arena challenge unless other wise specified, not open for challenge.
~No member should be posting in somebody else's RP profile thread.
~No member should be using a character belonging to somebody else without specific permission. If characters are copied, more of a legal action will take place of infractions and possible banning. Copying somebody else's work not belonging to you is considered plagerizing!
~Only premade characters should be found
~Only one profile should be available for RP'ers, if you think for a reason that you need to make a new one it must be approved by RP mod(s)
~Since I've seen this happen so often over the years, I'm going to point this out... if you wish to compliment somebody's character(s) do it via PM and VM, DO NOT POST IN THE ACTUAL THREAD!


Now anybody who RP's is free to setup a RP profile thread. One just needs to specify that is yours. Each character located in profiles should follow a basic template, an example template in which you can use is located below...

Age-
Race-
Position-
Alignment-
Weapon-
Abilities-
Physical Description-
Personality-
History-


You can add or change whatever you wish in a profile when you make your character. A few things we recommend doing though on your character profiles.

Name- include full names, who knows if in a RP you're asked for a full name. That way when it come times for submiting a specific character profile for a RP, you're not sitting their trying to think up last name or middle name.

Position- know that not one RP is a same, your character's position in every RP may be different. In one RP they could be an apprentice, the next a new recruit.

Alignment- Not every RP alignment is good and bad, there are specific sides such as Guy A's side and Guy B's side, Kingdom A and Kingdom B, etc.

Weapon- it is ok to post up a main weapon but know you could be limited in some RP's, such as your character's main weapon could be a sword but a RP your putting it in usses guns not swords.

Abilities- Different needed abilities change. Such as super hero powers for one, elemental powers for next, to some mind power in the next. Think of multiple abilites which you can remove whats not needed or think up one universal sort of power

Physical Description- know that some advance RP'ers like to see word description of a character and some RP's may require a realistic image over anime.

Personality- think universal. If in one RP your character is on the good side and the next he's on the bad side, don't have his personality be "Bob must destroy all that of evil", instead make it his enemies

History- I sugest just leaving this blank your profile, that's what I do. Every RP has a different history so instead of constantly changing the history of your character, leave it blank and by the time you sign up for a RP, you can add in the history.


Some additional fields you may want to add are...

Theme- some RP's like to see a theme for a character so try to have one picked out already on the profile

Strengths and Weaknesses- this helps with making your character more human and not a god mod.

Famous Uses- if being challenged for RP Arena, it's nice to see uses a particular character was used in, so a simple link to different RP's the character is in will help.

Announcements-

March 4-6 2011: RP Profile forum Clean Up~ all RP's a month old(present number date) have been moved to Old Roleplay. There were up 10 pages of RP profiles that needed organizaed. If your RP profile was moved and you did not want it moved contact RP mod via PM/VM, also please include a link. Thanks

March 6, 2011: New Profile Rules Go into Affect~ New rules to keep spam down go into affect and must be followed at all times. Thank You.

March 30-31: RP Profile will be cleaned again. Inactive RP'ers characters will be moved to "Old RP". Each profile will be inspected to check and see if the rules are being followed, profiles will be deleted versus just moved to old RP
