Powers?

Nicole scrambled her way through trying to locate her math class.Nicole recently moved to NYC due to her parents dream. Her parents were artist. She had no art talent besides photography and music.She saw through the hallway a boy go flying back. She kept walking though. She soon bumped into somone else holding a math book(Alex).

"Sorry about that." Nicole apologised and looked at the boy and smiled.

"Do you by chance have math with Smith now? I'm new to the school and have no idea where to go." Nicole told him.

 

Novek watched as everyone around him pushed and shoved. Crowds are such a pain. He grabbed a black gym bag with a few notebooks and books in it. As he lifted it up an kid was sent flying through the crowd. Novek stared in shock before shrugging his shoulders and walking to his math class. What do you know? A path through the crowd.

 

"Yeah I thought my last school was crowded." Nicole said.

"Oh my name is Nicole." Nicole called over turning into the classroom. The teacher looked up.

"You must be Nicole. Alex are you being her school guide?" The teacher asked.

 

Nicole sat down in a desk the far right row. She opened up her notebook and hereyes widend seeing a hole through just the notebook paper in her notebook. It was burnt, she knew how and why quickly closing it.

"Looks like new girl burnt her notebook paper.How do you manage that?" Nicole looked up seeing a blond hair, sassy, cheer leader girl. She had friends with her.

"Why not get out of her seat?" One of the cheerleaders friends said. Nicole sighed and gotup trashing her notebook in the trash and sat in the only other open seat behind Alex. She sat down and searched through the other notebooks. Burnt, and was wet but dry. It would have to do. All the pages were wrinckly and could be tell that it was wet.

"Stupid ability..." She mumbled making it sound more like stuble and was said very quitely.

 

Novek entered and took his seat in the far back. Nobody sat at the same table as him. He didn't care, he was used to it. He pulled out his notebook but it wasn't filled with any math work. Instead it had little notes on everybody. Who seemed to like who, who was smoking in the restrooms, who was causing trouble, stuff of that nature. He quickly wrote down a couple notes. Alex sends toughest kid in school flying from a small kick. New girl(will find out name) burns notebook without any fire. He looked around to see if there was anything else worth noting. The cheerleaders were sitting and laughing. Idiotic girls laugh at everything. A couple football players were talking about last nights game. Your team one, so what? Some other kids were talking about some game. Probably stupid or easy anyways. Finally the teacher got up and spoke, "Open your textbooks to page 134. Today we'll be starting..."
I hate math.

 

Novek couldn't believe what just happened. He quickly made a note of it in his notebook before grabbing his stuff and rushing out of class. What the hell was that? Superman doesn't sneeze that hard. What the hell is he? He noticed Alex down the hallway. Maybe I should ask him. Novek ran up to him and stopped in front of him. "How'd you do that? I've never seen anything like it."

 

Nicole looked and blinked. She put her hand under the table. The wholebschool shook.

"Earthquakeak!" Nicole yelled.

Everyone under the tables." The teacher said.

"I bet Alex is in trouble thinking he's a freak when it was an Earthquake. I'll go find him." Nicole said getting up quickly and running out. After she was out the earthquake stopped. However she looked behind her seeing a trail of water. She looked down at her feet just seeing a jet ofwater around them the bottom of her pant legs wet. She looked around, she had to find Alex. She turned down an empty hallway her feet still dripping water. She saw him.

"Hey you ok there was an Earthquake." She said.

"So, how long have you had it?" She whispered to him.

 

Nicole sighed and nodded.

"Not much got them on Christmas like an unpleasant christmas. Tree catches on fire, branches pull me in, I put it out with my own body turned to water. New Years Eve road salt from salt trucks come flying at me. I'm slowly learning control them. So the Earthquake I controled School rive can't." Nicole says.

"No one knows ofmine until now." Nicole said. She turned seeing Novek.

 

"You can do stuff like him? What exactly are you two?" Novek couldn't believe what was going on. First a kid gets sent flying from a small kick. Then he blasts away part of the class by sneezing. And then another person that can do stuff as well. Well at least school isn't boring anymore.

 

Nicole sighed she shook her thoughts.

"Super heroes." Nicole said she started walking off. 'Great now two people know...' She thought to herself. The school bell rang and she didn't head for her next class but for the door. She stopped though and sighed. She turned and saw a janitor's office. She opened the door and sat down. Her whole pants and part of her shirt werebwet. She pulled up her pants seeing the powerful jet of water that was now her leg.

 

Nicole sighed she shook her thoughts.

"Super heroes." Nicole said she started walking off. 'Great now two people know...' She thought to herself. The school bell rang and she didn't head for her next class but for the door. She stopped though and sighed. She turned and saw a janitor's office. She opened the door and sat down. Her whole pants and part of her shirt werebwet. She pulled up her pants seeing the powerful jet of water that was now her leg.

 

Novek followed them and grabbed the kid by the shoulder. "Leave. Now." He quickly pulled him out of the way and stepped inside, closing the door behind him. "Now thats something you don't see everyday." He said noticing Nicole's leg. "You know, if you really want to keep this secret, you should close the door. And don't let him bother you. I think these powers are pretty cool. I'll keep quiet if you want me to, so no need to worry. I just want to be able to see what else you two can do."

 

Amethyst sat under the table-She felt like a idiot. She always wondered why the heck do teachers make you do this. Amethyst got up from under the table. "I'm going to get some water," She mumbled to the teacher. Amethyst didn't like to talk-she's quiet. And before the teacher can say something that make Amethyst come back.....she left the class room.
"Earthquake...it only been a second and so i have no reason sitting under that table like a living idiot." She kept walking in the hallway when she saw a boy.
