Powers? 2

"Where did you come from stranger?" A man in a group asked a lone figure standing in an open field. The stranger, a male human of approximately 17 or 18 years of age, didn't reply. "I said, where did you come from?"

"What does it matter to you? I am here from Earth."

"Liar." The entire group said. They all grabbed some kind of weapon. "It is impossible to travel between dimensions. Even the most powerful person in all of Yuleania can't do that."

The lone person smirked. "I guess I'm just special then. If I were you, I'd put those weapons down. I'm trying to not hurt anybody right now. Please don't make me."

The leader of the group laughed. "Well then, boy from Earth. Do you think you could hurt us?"

"I'm not from Earth. I was born here on Yuleania."

"Born here or Earth, it does not matter to us. You come here interrupting our meeting and then insult us, claiming you honestly traveled through dimensions of your own will. Nobody makes a fool of us like that."

"So be it." The lone person muttered under his breath. The group all charged at him. "Simple bandits." He swung his hand out and across, left to right. Several bodies flew back, like they were hit by a troll or something. He dodged his attackers. He moved with such grace it bordered on precognition. He would push them back, making them madder and madder. One assailant managed to cut his arm. He looked at it, the wound closing itself up. The attacker looked in shock. "Pity. It looks like I'm getting closer and closer to leaving. I cannot stay as much as I'd like. Not with my powers." He held his hand out, bringing every weapon his opponents were holding to him. He snapped them like they were twigs. "Thanks for the warm up."

"What are you?" One of the men asked, terrified.

The stranger sighed. "I'm beginning to wonder that. I'm me, Tom." tom jumped up in the air, higher than possible. His body stayed in the air, flying off in some random direction.

 

On Earth...

"HELP!" A women yelled as a building was slowly burning down. She held a crying baby in her arms as firefighters couldn't get to her. However a young women shape figure of fire showed up. "Hold on ma'am!" The girl called. The body changed though into a normal looking 16 year old girl. Quickly the girl's arms turned into water and started douching the flames. "Quickly grab my hand, I'll get you out of here." The girl said sending her hand out to the women. The women looked scared but when a piece of the firing ceiling fell she quickly grabbed hold. The girl, the women, and the baby turned seemed to disappear, but actually became part of the air. The girl took them out of the building and landed on the ground near some paramedics. "Take care of her." The girl said as she returned back to normal.

The girl, is not an average girl. She attends a private high school, she is very smart and like all teenagers, she's a teenager. One thing different about this girl is her powers, which came to her a year ago. Her name is Nicole, about a year ago a chain of events occured affecting both the Earth human world and a magical world where her powers came from. They were able to save the worlds, by one of her friends sacraficing himself. From there, things fell apart. She remained on Earth to watch over Earth and protect it while many of the others went to the land where there powers came from.

Nicole looked up at the building that seemed to finally be going out after fire fighters spent 9 hours trying to put it out. "Somethings not quite right..." Nicole whispered to herself. "Well it looks like you did it again." The firefighting chief started. "We don't know how to thank you." He said. "Don't thank me, this isn't your normal fire. Recently different things have been happening unexplanable." Nicole explained.

 

Zero was in his room justing waking up. Zero loked outside and saw people out side in the park. "Yulenia....what a peaceful place.....but why do I live here one year ago I was with the person who was trying to destroy it....I don't think I should be in a place as beatiful as this one."Zero thought to himself. Zero got in the shawer and then rushed out and threw on his clothes. "Wonder were ever one is" Zero said to himself. Zero walked out of his house and looked around. Zero seen kids playing with there parents and using there powers playing catch. " I wonder what parents are like...." Zero said.Zero then walked to a pond and sat infront of it and just stared at the water. " I wonder if Nicoles ok.....I hope she's not getting into any trouble or in trouble". Then Zero remembered that he never apologized for using his powers on her. Zero dropped his head and a tear dropped into the pond.

 

"Well thanks anyways." The chief said. Nicole smiled and nodded. "Not a problem." She said running off and jumping in the air as wind started up and carried her away. Soon she landed one her apartment balcony and unlocked the door walking in her one bedroom apartment. It was small, not a suite, but it was cheap, accesable for her powers, and it had a great view of the Satue of Liberty in the distance.

Her apartment though had a very small kitchen, not even a kitchen. There was a stove, oven, microwave, two cubords, a mini fridge, a sink, and about a 1' by 2' counter space. Near the kitchen in open area there was a small round table with four seats, but really had room for only two people to eat at. She had a small closet, a twin size bed, and her drawers. On top of her drawers was a small TV and there was a lounge chair, near a small desk. She sighed and sat down in the chair and began pondering her thoughts.

After a few seconds she let out a sigh. "Leah, Aiden, Alexis.... what could possibly be going on?" She said to herself pondering the thoughts and confusion.

 

Zero got up from the pond and whiped his face. " Wow was that a tear.....maybe when i took her over I really did gain some affection for her" Zero thought. Zero began to wonder about the others. He looked around and kids were still playing and using there powers. Zero walked back home and sat on his front porch looking like he had lost the girl of his dreams. In which he did when Selenia was taken over and killed by the darkness. Zero tried not to think of that often and tried to keep his mind on his new friends. " Nicole im sorry" Zero tried to say to her telepathically but he didn't thinkit would work. " Maybe I could get Aiden to send me to Earth to make sure everything is okay down there with Nicole." Zero thought. Zero then telepathically asked Aiden" Where are you I have something important I need to talk to you about". Zero looked at the Sky waiting for Aidens reply.

 

Tom flew through the skies of Yuleania, the words of his last encounter still flowing through his mind.

Sometimes I wonder that as well.

Tom looked down at his left hand. He pointed his right index finger at it and moved downwards. His telekinesis cut the flesh. But as it was cut, it healed itself. Do you think your gambit will actually work? And besides, you don't even know if your fears will come true. True, but logically it has a chance of happening. Yes, a chance. Not a guarantee. Leah will have to be the one to do it. Don't go there. Tom's mind wrestled with itself about this concern of his.

 

Tyro sat down and thought of something, "Man why is this happening to me, I just found out I have powers, Lizabeth was kidnapped and I have no clue where Yuleania is!" He looked at the paper again, this was his second time, reading it over and over to himself. Maybe he could find some body else who had power and could help. Till then, he would just have to wait till he can get those answers.

Tyro walked down a dark ally, it was night time. He had to go to his house soon, but it was very noisy out there and he knew once he got there Tyro wouldn't get much sleep due to the noise. A random man, walked out of the store and look at him. "Hey boy, shoudn't you be home, it's after midnight," but no answer from Tyro, he didn't see no reason to answer because he couldn't be the one with the answers to any of his questions. The random guy would probably think he was crazy or something....

So he kept on walking.

 

Zero looked around and noticed Yulenia wasn't the same. " Who are you anyways?....and how do you know me?" Zero asked. " How do you know Nicole and Novek?" Zero asked as he began to worry about them. " You know what nevermind I have to find a friend" Zero said as he rushed off to go and find Aiden. " Aiden where are you man.....I think we have a major problem going on in Yulenia" Zero said. "Im such an Idiot how didn't I notice this?" Zero asked himself as he was runnig towards a temple.
