    When I played this game for the very first time and saw the intro, I thought Riku was a girl the first time I saw him. It wasn't until I heard his voice when I realized he was male. Did anyone else think the same thing, or I am just crazy?

    Riku was pretty... Masculine, almost as if on roids in my eyes. Looked pretty manly to me =P
    But I can see where a few others may pick up the mistake. Long bangs, bigger chest/breast... well that's all I can pick up.

    Well, 358/2 days was the KH game I played, so I sort of heard him before I saw him. But I can see where you're coming from, I do have one question though. Didn't his clothes sort of, tell you that he was a guy? :p

    don't worry, a LOT of square enix guys look a little feminine. I thought Sora was a girl the first time I saw him....till I saw his feet

    The first time I ever saw Riku was on the internet as a fan pic. Apparently, some artist made a yaoi thing with him and Sora so I thought he was a girl until I played the game.

    I knew they were both men but Riku could pass for a girl, and Sora definently sounds girly. Wasn't he played by a girl at first?

    I don't believe so. Haley Joel Osment has always played him, and is a boy, he just hit puberty between KH1 and KH2

    If the chest is round, that person is a girl. If the chest is super flat, that person is a male (Excluding Sorceress Adel. DX). That is really not that hard.

    right, but prepubesent kids don't really have that definitive trait (Talking bout KH1 looks) it's perfectly understandable 4 some1 2 get the genders mixed up based on looks

    Well, if you look in game, did anyone think Kairi was a boy? Compare her body type to the body type of Sora and Riku. Kairi doesn't have a huge chest like Lulu from FFX or anything, but you can still see that she's a girl, not even taking into account that she's wearing a skirt. Sora and Riku are drawn a little differently. But I dunno, Riku and Sora always looked and sounded like boys to me. I can't see it any other way.

    No, but interestingly enough, I thought Marluxia was a girl when I first played Re:CoM.

    What's more interesting was that Marluxia was SUPPOSED to be a girl, but for some reason, Nomura at the last second changed it to a guy. Isn't that enough of a sausage fest, really? =P You only have Larxene in the entire Organization, put another chick in there, dang. =P

    I thought Xion was actually Kairi with a makeover before Days was in the development stage.

    Didn't think she was a guy though. =P
