    Personally, I hate platinum games, Just because of the design.

    For the PS2...
    The Box Art has a thick dull grey border, the word platinum gets written on it, the box also becomes a dull grey and worst of all, the disk loses its picture and gets replaced by a "platinum" colour with only the game title written on it.

    Same goes with PSP, PS3 and the PS1 games (although PS3 and PSP may vary).

    I myself have never bought a PS game that goes under the Platinum. It's disgusting and morally wrong. If a game is that good to be sold over 1 million times (I Think that's how it works) then the box should be better not worse. If anything, it should have never been changed in the first place.

    The worse case that I have seen is KH2. The non platinum one is all shiny and glittery, come the Platinum, the shininess is gone. Disgusting....

    I AGREE PLATINUM IS DISGUSTING!!!!!!

    i have never bought one, but now PS2 is outdated theres no need to.

    i have like a few plantinums which came with ps2 when i first bought it, it was in one of those weird deals that if you buy the console in silver they throw in a free game

    Hmm i really never care to buy platinum games or normal games, since i put the disk into disk cases. But supposedly that all that matters for me is the game, not the box art.

    Never thought of it,just like playing the games.It wouldnt matter too much to me,though I do like the covers of some games (like the FFX one) in its original glory.

    i dont see how it matters how the box looks unless you plan on staring at it for 40 minutes of your life everyday or something. after all, you wouldve bought it to play the game right?
