pretty broad, but im interested in hearing all the different theories on what they are, scientifically,spiritually or anything else

I guess to start off, ill give a statement/thought ive had about dreams recently:

Dreams feel as if its the closest you can be to being god and yet not
most absolute truths tend to be paradoxes and I find this to be one of them
the only way to describe the setting of a dream is with book-like terms(first person, third person limited/omniscient, ect.)
dreams take place in a third person paradoxical-omniscience
I created this term because...well it best describes the feeling
you know everything and every detail of where you are and yet are limited to only knowing what one person can know, you know the intent and thought of every person and thing in your dream as if you were them and yet are still limited to knowing only your own feelings.
you are a part of everything and yet even sperate from yourself
its interesting to think about
sometimes I feel thats true and sometimes I dont..jus depends
