So do you have a pet? Pet dog, cat, bird, rabbit, hamster, gerbil, guinea pig, hedgehog, mouse, snake, gecko and more?

I have a pet dog, hedgehog and a tiger (He has his own room so he can't see any visitors.)

Having a pet dog was a bit easy, having a pet Hedgehog was not really hard, but having a pet tiger is really hard. I need it to keep it away from visitors or strangers. In Saturday morning, I let him go out and rest if there are no visitors or strangers.
Well, my pet dog was very loyal to me, he follows me everyday except Saturday morning. He stays inside my house and wait for my tiger to return.
My hedgehog stays in his cage. I wash him, feed him (2 times a day.) and pet him.

That's all I want to say to you all.

Haha, I always left the TV for him. At afternoon, I turn it off. Then at night, I open the TV again. I don't know if he's watching or not.

Are people even allowed to keep tigers as pets? Surely animal services would be interested in that.

I have a three year old beagle. Beagles are kind of annoying dogs because they bark a lot and want to run constantly. But aside from that, and the fact that he is apparently unable to be trained to come when I call him, mine's pretty cool.

I have a pet dog. Her name's Jade and she's a boxer. She has a fawn coloring to her fur and she is absolutely adorable :)

In the US and the UK, they say that you are required to have a Dangerous Wild Animals license in order to keep an animal such as a tiger.

    I have a beagle too.
    Age? 3-5 years.
We rescued him so we aren't sure of his age.
They are annoying, I wouldn't say they bark per say... maybe more of a howl. XD
My dog is also practically not trainable
    "Snoopy!"
    *Dog looks around blankly*
    Yeah, his name is Snoopy.
Personally my dog hates to run, he kinda waddles. He is really lazy.
He is one cute pup. XD

I'm glad to know that my Louie is not the only beagle who refuses to listen. I have to keep him on a leash or on a lead all the time because he takes off on me and I have to spend forever chasing him down and cornering him.

I rescued my dog, too. Someone dumped him down the steps outside that lead to the basement at my preschool (the hell's wrong with people?). I've had him for about 2 1/2 years now.

Well I'm selling my tiger now. While it's still in my house, I still watch him. I'm from South Korea. He's a Siberian Tiger. I always keep him in his room then I let him go out in the backyard during Saturday morning and no people outside. Then I will return him again to his room after 1 minute. Do he has cubs? Yes, he have. He has 2 sons and 1 daughter. They were selled. My tiger's alone. He never seen my pet hedgehog. He's just safe and I keep him away from strangers.

Well is there a Dangerous Animal License in Korea? I don't see one. Even my whole family didn't even see one. I just keep my tiger safe in his very own, quiet room. He has toys to play with.
My dog is a Siberian Husky. His name is Sky and he's safer than any of my pets. He is very loyal.

Any pets ? I practically own a farm.
Not literally because we're in city limits and you can't own a farm in the middle of town, but we've got plenty of animals.
For starters I have 5 dogs. Four of them are fairly large and one is an ankle-biter. The four big ones are: the yellow lab, the black lab golden retriever mix, the border collie and the NewFoundland springer spaniel mix. The small dog is the yorkshire terrier and she owns all.
Then we have 4 cats. I'm not an expert on cat breeds so I can't tell you want they are, but some of them are getting fairly old =\

I have three cats, and I used to have a hedgehog that I LOVED. <3 He was so sweet.
One of my cats is a bengal, and the other two are just plain domestic tabby...whatevers.
    And I've always wanted a chinchilla, too. o;

My brother wants a hedgehog as a pet. And I've wanted a turtle, or something along the amphibious/reptilian lines. That or some kind of bird. But all of those are pretty much out of the question, considering the time it would take to keep them.

What I do have is the family cat, about eleven years old and still capable of being the most annoying thing to walk on four legs. He's a bengal that we picked up off the streets years ago on Halloween (promting us to name him Pumpkin). He's a lonely boy though, since our other cat passed away last year. I've also been keeping a pair of hermit crabs for about nine or ten months now. They don't take much to keep going, so I'm generally capable of taking care of them pretty well, though I must admit I might need a bigger tank for them to scamper around in once I get the money for it. And when I get the chance, I might add in another crab or two to give them some more company, since that's key to their activity.

heh, seems like you got your hands full with those crabs huh? Luckily my two dogs have each other to keep company. Less work for me! And sorry about your other cat D=

Someone will buy my tiger this week and I'm waiting. My tiger's name was Erus and I created a fan-made character that was named after my tiger. Sky and my hedgehog, Furry are doing well. Furry is an albino hedgehog. I let him out of the cage and safely hold his body without holding the spines. He can also jump :p

Ya know, when you said "Furry," I almost raged.

A friend of mine is pretty much in that sort of situation. That must be a lot of work.

It is a lot of work :\

I'm not really responsible for the dogs (unless if I'm the only one at home of course),but my mom normally takes care of them or my brother somtimes; I more or less have to tend to the needs of the cats. I'm the one who fetches the food and fills their water bowls, ohh and the litter box. Best part let me tell you. One of our cats, an elderly gray female, always makes a mess in the box or on herself because she never seems to make a solid bowel movement (there was no better way or phrasing that, I tried >.<)

But yeah... The typical needs of animals, what can I say ?
