Petey's Vendetta {.::PRODUCTION THREAD::.}

Welcome to my thread for my machinima film that I am making. Originally this film was for a contest but that time has far passed. I decided to make this into a big project and take my time on making this. Here's the thread to catch all the updates for it.

SYNOPSIS
Petey Grimshaw has everything going for him. Excellent things are happening for him at his job, he's a married man who has a child on the way, but everything changes in an instant. His life takes a sudden turn downhill as he loses everything he has. He meets someone that offers help and Petey takes that one last chance. Petey creates an alter-ego entitled Blackheart, which he uses to get revenge on those that took from him....Petey's Vendetta.

PRODUCTION NOTES
I've got a few scenes done in AMM, but progress is going very slow. Finally got a few mods that weren't working now up and running, which I am really happy. Still designing a bit of what each character should look like and still grabbing a few mods. Going to continue AMM for as long as I can and boy I can't wait to start that up again. Hoping to make the deadline, but if I don't then this film will still be released no matter what. Casting is all complete and here's what wonderful VOs to look forward to.

5.3.2009 Update

I am currently 90% complete with AMM for Petey's Vendetta. AMM has been going very smoothly and has been at a steady pace. I also have decided to make a trailer for the film once the AMM is complete, it'll give me some experience with Magix.

5.26.2009 UPDATE


I have finally done it! Petey’s Vendetta has been complete in AMM. I spent just about 55 hours on the AMM alone! Over 300 shots/scene used in AMM and I can’t wait to start editing this. It’s been a tough road to finish the AMM, but it has been a pretty fun experience. I am happy with every scene that is in AMM, some of the camera angles are great and I can’t believe I had those in me. I will now start reading up on Magix and seeing how it works. I’ll most likely start on a trailer and that will be my first piece that I’ll put through Magix so I can get the hang of the program. Now that Summer has rolled around I am able to finally focus on my filmmaking. I will go through everything in AMM of course to make sure everything is in order and to add some more props to scenes. I also brought along the final 3 screenshots of the film that I'm going to show, then it'll be the trailer and then the film itself! I'm guessing sometime June/July this we'll be done. Anyways, here are the screenies.
