    I'm pretty new to this stuff, so go easy on me.
    I've just been playing around and making KH signatures and stuff. What do you think?

    I think it would help to think of the background and stock image/render as one thing. Right now it looks like you make a background with whatever colors, add text, then find a render and put it in to finish it off. I think you have to take the render into account when building your backgrounds. Choose colors that you either pick straight from the render or ones that complement the colors that are in the render (a color wheel could maybe help with that). You do this with some of your sigs, like the fourth and sixth down, but some, like the fifth and seventh, have rather ugly colors. Layer the effects in the background so that the render is blended in.

    Just keep practicing and figuring out what works for you.
