Under a shady tree that looks out over the crystal blue sea lays a man with short brown hair and a cigerett in his mouth. every few moments he casually blows out a smoke ring that disapates into the blue sky that blankets the world. foot steps can be heard in the distance quickly approaching the tree a tall and lanky man breathing heavy is running towards the giant oak tree.

"Raiou....Raiou....a poster..hmp..hmp" the man screams as he approachs Raiou.

"What stretch what" Raiou responds with a questionable tone in his voice. Stretch hangs over his knees gasping for breath as if he had just ran 10 miles.

"Raiou it is a poster from the Navy..it is a poster for yur head, and there is news that the Navy is heading here as we speak".

"hahahaha, thats it you ran here to tell me that.hahahahaha" Raiou responded with a happy look on his face.

The smells of food, ale, and smoke wafted out of the doorway that lead to a local port. Red Rock Port. A small, yet vastly wealthy port known for it's sour-gum trade. Rick combed back his black hair and licked his lips, "Oh yeah. I definitely smell treasure." His voice was low and to himself as a group of broad shouldered men walked by, all had removed their shirts and and had them hanging from their shoulders.

"Oi. Lookie. It be that stow-away from Captain Heartbound's ship. I say we deal him a lesson boys. Who be with me?" The thick man on the far right spoke up and his companions let out a cheer in agreement. Their hands went to their swords, but before their blades had cleared their scabbards at their sides, Rick threw up his hands defensively.

"Hey now guys come on," he pleaded calmly, "there isn't really a need for that. Is there?" A worried smile creased his face as Rick took a few steps back.

"You ate our grub and nearly stole th' Cap'in's gold!" The middle one roared as he loomed closer. Rick's mouth felt dry.

"Okay, yeah, bad idea on my part, and listen I'm real sorry. But hey! That was my last time that I try and steal, honest!" Rick laughed nervously. He continued to back away and stumbled back over a crate. His weight crushed the crate open and plump watermelon's spilled out. His aggressors continued their daunting pace as they crept closer.

Damn, and here I thought I wouldn't have trouble until I was getting ready to leave! Rick's right hand grabbed a watermelon and hurled it at his enemies. Without waiting to see if it hit, Rick scrambled onto his feet and made a dead run for the nearest corner where he found his way onto the roof tops and doubled back to where his enemies had just come. As they passed him by without noticing, Rick leaped to the ground and sprinted back to the pub. Heheh. Just my luck.

"I'm really sorry!" a young man cried as he was being chased by a small group of townsfolk. Usually when one says this, they stop and beg for mercy. Not this man, if he was to stop, they'd gut him like a fish only because of what he had carried in his hands as he ran was running away. A small treasure chest filled with enough loot to buy you a small boat that could sail the calm oceans.

Wynnd was his name, and Wynnd was fast. When he reached the port, he used the environment to his advantage; he hid in a barrel. The Angry mob did not see him slip in and decided to split up to search for him. Knowing he would be safe if he didn't hold the small chest, Wynnd left it in the barrel as he hopped out. "Well as long as they didn't see my face, I should be fine." He walked around noticing some of the townsfolk that were chasing him just walk on by. "Good, I still got it" he thought and smiled.
"All that running has mad me thirsty, what does one do to wet his whistle around here?" Wynnd eyed a nearby pub and walked in. A few drunks were yelling but no one was fighting... yet. "Friendly place" he sat down and called out, "Bartender! An ale please!"

The Bartender looked like the surly type and walked up to Wynnd. "Well, this stuff ain't free y' know" he said in a raspy voice.

"Ahah, right you are sir" Wynnd could only smile, he noticed the veins on top of his bald head starting to pop out. Quickly patting down his pockets, he just realised he left his money in the chest in that barrel. *face palm*

The Bartender started to clench his fist in impatience since he did not want to deal with customers who had no money on them.

"Alright, thanks. I'll tell the captain." Johnny started walking towards the captains' quarters on the ship. The ship was overall pretty normal except that it was painted black. Stands out badly during the day but is hard to find at night. As Johnny reached the door he knocked. "Hey Captain. Got some news." There was no reply so Johnny knocked harder. "Hey Captain! News!" Still nothing so Johnny used his smoke powers to change himself into a white cloud and go on the door. He reformed himsrlf on the other side of the door and looked to see the captain was asleep on his bed. "Ugh...CAPTAIN!" Captain Torch woke with a start. "Attack! Navy! What! Oh, Johnny. It's just you. Why didn't you knock?"
"I did. You didn't wake up." Johnny was trying to control his temper, albeit weakly, as he was told he has anger issues. "Why didn't you knock louder when I didn't wake? You know its rude to just barge ibto someone's room like that. You re..." Torch kept talking as Johnny just got madder and madder. "Oh! Didn't you mention something about news?"
    "Yes."
"Then why did you let me keep talking? Why didn't you stop me?"
"Because you were talking about how it would be rude to do stuff like that."
"Well screw that. We're pirates, what do we care?" Johnny punched Torch on the top of his head. "Much better. Anyways, we're coming up on Red Rock. Do you want to dock or no?" Torch was clutching his head. "Striking your captain, I could throw you overboard."
    "Whatever. Dock or not?"
"Yes. Now go away. You know the supplies we need."
Johnny left and Torch rubbed his head a bit before falling back asleep.

Will sat on the edge of the tip of the boat, listening to the hustle and bustle of the town. He was waiting for the navy to come after him. They had already placed a bounty on his head, now it was just a matter of time. "All over one overconfident Corporal..." He breathed. A navy corporal had challenged him to a duel, hoping to beat Will and get promoted, the duel ending in the corporal getting stabbed in the shoulder. As the ship's cook and gunner he usually stayed back on the ship for the first hour or two to keep watch before going into town and gathering supplies, then joining everyone else at the tavern.

"Hey Will, whatcha doin?" Hoshi called up to Will wheeling a cargo crate over to the boat. She rolled it up the plank and set it down on the boat. She ran back down and a few minutes later was back with two more. She rolled them up and leaned wiped sweat from her forehead.

"So what are you doing up here Will?" Hoshi asked him.

The sound of snoring came from their small boat - which abruptly stopped the moment Hoshi got back, and the snorer immediately shot up, stretching.

"Is it Tuesday already?" He yawned, then looked over to the two. "Apparently not. . . did either of you bring fish? My craving is getting pretty bad."

With that, he leapt out of the boat and onto the dock, which wasn't a very great feat, considering the fact that the boat was only half a foot away - and yet he still landed on the edge of the dock - then went into a ballancing routine, waving his arms wildly. Once he was balanced, he sighed a sigh of relief - But then fell back into the boat anyways.

    "Ow."

(I'm envisoning this one to be a fishing boat the size of the boat Nami stole from the three Buggy henchmen.)

Wynnd stood up hopping off the Bar Stool and talked honestly with the Bartender. "All right, I'm going to look silly and I'm sorry I wasted your time. The truth is that I have no money but-"

Before Wynnd could continue he got punched square in the face by the Bartenders hairy fist which sent him flying out the door. "Got no time to deal with Scallywags like you! Now beat it!" he yelled.

Wynnd rolled backwards till he hit the wall of the building across the street. "Some friendly bar" he grunted. He got up and dusted himself off noticing that his pursuers had gone. "Time to buy me a boat" he grinned. Heading offf to the Wharf, he noticed the Barrel that had his loot had disappeared. Quickly scouting with his eyes he noticed a man he could only describe as "ruffian" throwing the barrel on a ship. "Waaah! My Loot! My money!" Knowing that retrieving it was impossible at the time he threw a knife at the barrel to try mark it.

The Knife flew straight, A clumsy throw if anything but luckily nothing stood between Wynnd and the Barrel that held his Loot. The Knife Struck the barrel as it was being thrown and made no sound upon contact. "Who's ship is this?" He questioned. He listened around and heard the Name "Blue Pearls"

"Now why does that name sound familiar? Well enough tittle tattle, I need to board this ship and get my money back!" Wynnd tossed a knife in the air and caught it between his teeth on the flat blade, pulled his bag up and tried to find the owner of the ship.

Hoshi looked over at the one with the knife in it and walked over and opened it up. She saw the water seeping out.

"This one's filled with water the other with boat supplies. There's one more barrel to go." Hoshi said. She jumped off and ran over to the last one and rolled it on board.

"Alright we got breads food that sort of thing, fish, and boat supplies. I do believe that's it." Hoshi annouced. she turned and saw the wing blow another barrel in and it broke open revealing tons of cash.

"Whoa, aren't we lucky." Hoshi said looking at it.

"I don't believe we needed anything else here, correct?" Hoshi asked.

Will smiled. He knew Hoshi was anxious to be back on the wide ocean. "I need to make one short trip into town and we'll be ready. Plus all the others are still at the tavern." He said, chuckling a little as he grabbed a cloak from beside him. He always wore a cloak into town so no trouble was started. He had seen the person throw the knife which made him stand, drawing one of his longswords for defense. "Hoshi, we have a visitor on our ship." He said, eyes swiveling to watch the front of the boat. He also quickly put his cloak on, pulling the hood over his face. He had made the cloak so that his sword sheaths stuck through a hole in the cloak, allowing him to use them if the need arose.

Wynnd could hear the whispers between Will and Hoshi and took this as an invite. It was either brave of him or stupid of him to jump on the Ship. Luckily he had his own tricks as well. The knife in his mouth was actually one of his whistles, which one it was remained a mystery.

"Should have checked which whistle this one was first before jumping on" Wynnd thought. Showing a sign of truce, Wynnd untied the bandanna on his head and pocketed it as a sign of respect. "Ahoy there matey! Didn't mean to intrude, but I'm looking for a one way trip out of this port. Do you mind helping?" he asked politley.

Will's sword stayed up but he relaxed a little, striding forward a few steps towards the stranger. "Depends, where are you going?" Will growled, spinning the sword in his hand. The blade moved swiftly and expertly, ready to strike if needed. He rarely trusted people, and this stranger had just boarded their ship. Will wondered why he had chosen to board this ship out of the twenty others in port. Then he remembered the loot. He knew at that moment the stranger was here for his gold.

Wynnd was impressed by the mans skills with the swords, knowing his place, he backed up a little and started to speak. "No where particular, I just want to see the world, learn new things and pretty much just keep moving" he smiled. "My apologies there, I'm Wynnd by the way" he finally introduced himself. "And can I say, what extraordinary skills you have there" he tried flattering him.

Rick slid in through the doorway to the pub. His face set in a frown, Rick walked up to the bartender and leaned against the counter, "Oi. I need to know which ship will take me towards the South Blue. Are there any ships here that aren't leaving any time soon that'll take me?"

The bartender merely shrugged and nodded towards an empty table in the back. "If you want a ship to South Blue, sit there." Rick nodded and thanked the man. After he found a ship to be his get-away, it would be time to hunt for his treasure. Flicking his thumb across his nose, Rick smirked. It's close.

Hoshi stepped forward and looked at him.

"Well welcome aboard, but why our ship and not the others?" She asked knealing down standing up the one with money in it. She carried it over to a door and took out keys unlocking it. She carried it in and went and carried the other ones in locking the door behind her.

"I'm Hoshi." Hoshi introducd herself. She stood smiling.

Raiou could see the navy ships cresting the horizon of the sea. Raiou made a dash for his little shack that he was staying for the moment and he packed his stuff and started towards the docks. When he reached the docks the navy ships where sending dingys towards the docks.

"Ha I will just wait till one gets here and then I will take one of them" Raiou mumbled outloud. Raiou looked for somewhere to hideout till the Navy Dingys made to the docks. He found a small barrel and he hid within it. He could hear some Navy guards run buy as they made there way towards the tavern where he spends most of his time. Raiou lept out the barrel and he ran towards the docks where some people where loading some supplies on another ship. Raiou grabbed a few barrels of food and a thing of rum. Then he started off towards the sea in his little Dingy

Johnny was walking around Red Rock with at least three other men. Gotta get supplies. Stupid lazy captain. As they were walking around he noticed his men kept glancing at the bars they past. "What do you say we get a drink?" The men gave a hearty cheer as they all wdlked into the nearest bar and ordered drinks before sitting at a table. Johnny took a quick drink before talking. "Now we need to get supplies for the trip, so this is it. Afterwards just ask the Captain and I'm sure he'll bring the whole crew drinking." The men gave a little laugh as they all drank.

Alvin pushed his combed his brown hair back behind his right ear. He needed a haircut. True it was already short, but the length on the sides was longer than the rest. Focus. He schooled himself and brought his attention back to his situation. He needed to get the Horohoro fruit so that he could make a medicine from it's seeds.

An easy enough task, retrieving this fruit, if not for the simple fact that the Horohoro fruit grew out on the trees who only grew on the shelf of a cliff.

Swallowing back the lump in his throat, Alvin pulled himself across the branch slowly. His breath came to him in slow, rhythmic patterns, and he didn't dare bring his light blue eyes off of the fruit that was nearly an arms length away now. But not looking didn't help the fact that he knew that if he fell, or the branch broke, he would plummet down the hundred foot cliff and land on the jagged rocks that all but cheered for his fall.

Finally, Alvin's right hand snatched back the Horohoro fruit. The small purple fruit wasn't edible in itself, but the seeds alone did wonders for ailments as well as spiced the flavor in foods. Sliding the fruit into his left jacket pocket, and then sealing the pocket, Alvin began his slow crawl back to the tree trunk.

Once he was safe, his body sagged against the tree's base and he pulled his knees up tight against his chest. Master Hem never mentioned risking your life in the name of medicine or helping others. But I guess that's to be expected. Master always did like people learning their lessons instead of being taught. A smile spread over Alvin's face. But when his eyes fell onto the waters which crashed against the jagged bottom rocks, he quickly remembered why he was there.

He checked to fruit and found it still there. Successful, Alvin began his brief climb up the cliffs face, and headed back for the town.

Raiou was still drifiting in the open waters of the ocean. But a Island could be made out in the distance. Raiou leaned over the dingy and noticed the island his spirits went from near none to exploding with joy. he jumped up and down on his boat then he realized that he needed to start rowing if he wanted to make it there before dark.

"Yes yes yes food food food" these were the only words that where coming from his mouth as he pushed his body to row even faster and faster each time
