Hi everybody, this is the official 'Guide for Newbies' that every newbie and member should read.THIS WILL BE UPDATED AS NEEDED.

First of all, here's a guide to abbreviations.

RP: RP stands for roleplay,a thread where several members participate in making a totally unique story. For more information on RP's I would look at this http://kh-3.net/forums/roleplay/1056-xelhess-guide-roleplay-world.html.

RPer: A roleplayer, somebody who participates in an roleplay.

    RPing: roleplaying.

Mod: A moderator, these have power over a paticular section of the forums.

Super mod: Super moderator. These have power over every section of the forum.

Admin: Administrator. These have power over the whole site. The current admin's are: TradeDemon (TD),LCD1121 (Leah), and Raiden. NOTE: Mods Super Mods and Admins are all part of the staff.

    Rep: This is Reputation abbreviated.

KH: If you don't know what this means,I think your a bit of a dummie. This stands for Kingdom Hearts.

KH:FM+: This is a so far japanese only, special version of KH.The're aren't too many differences between this and the original.

KH: CoM: If you don't understand what this means, then I can understand. It means Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. This is the second game in the series of KH,and only came out for the GBA.It was in 3D.

KH: ReCoM: This is a remake of KH:CoM for the PS2,it came with KH2 FM+.

KH2: Kingdom Hearts 2.This is the third game in the series and is a direct follow up of CoM,you don't "need" to play CoM to understand this game, but it helps.

I think that's it for abbreviations.
Now some quick explanations of things in the forum.

Reputation: This is a system where,if a member thinks thst somebody has made a good post, they can give them some rep.You can also take away people rep if you think that post is really bad.

vBExperience: This is a very new system, depending on your activity, post count and other things you can level up.This is not too competitive but will show most new people who you should listen to and who you should ignore.

Spam: Spam comes in two different forms, double posting (posting more than once without waiting for another member to post) and trolling (Posting irrelevant posts on a certain topic).Don't do any spamming,or else people will start to dislike you.

Sticky: A sticky is a thread that a mod/mods has decided is important,a sticky thread will be shown on every page of the topic.

Poll: A poll is basically the name of something that people vote on,only members can vote and they can only vote once.

    FAQ:

How do I put an Image in my Signature?

First you must have an image to use. There are size limits, check the rules for details. Once you have this image, you must upload it to a hosting site (i.e. Photobucket, Image Shack, etc.). Once you've done this, you will be supplied with various codes and hyperlinks. You need to copy the Image Code or BB code. This will be the one that is surrounded with the tags. Now go to your User Control Panel (CP) and click Edit Signature. Paste the image code in the text box provided and click Save Signature. And that's it. You now have an image in your signature. How do upload and avatar?

This is a little different. First, there are image size limits as well. Check the rules. Then, save the image to your computer,go into your user cp,then edit Avatar.Look at option two and selesct Browse...,select the image and select use custom avatar.Done. [IMG]

How do I post a link?
First copy the url of the page you wish to link to. Then, type into your post the text you wish you be the link. Highlight this text and clink the hyperlink button (the one with the image of the globe with a chain link). Paste the url you copied into the pop up box that appears and click ok. You now have a working hyperlink.

    THE RULES (IMPORTANT)!

    1.) No Advertising
    2.) No Spamming
    3.) No Double Posting
4.) No Racism, Or Offensive Behaviour
5.) No Adult Material (This is a family friendly forum).

This will be updated by Chocobo, Kupo or any staff member as needed.
