Pick which title seems best to you and read on. Before I post the chapter, i'll give some answers that aren't asked yet.
    1. For all of those who know the Alph I created, it's the same one in this story, continuing where i left him off in one of the RPs.
    2. This is a Nintendo version of Kindom Hearts. Which brings to the second title, "Kingdom Soul
    3. I wrote this in 1st person, so it's Alph's (who is a Nobody) journal.
    4. Each chapter is REALLY long
    5. I'll try to post one every month or week. Mostly whenever I feel like it.
    6. Final Fantasy characters will be replaced by Soul Calibur characters

    Journal Log 1
I remember being somebody. Or was I a Nobody? Huh, a capital “N”. Anyway, I was forgetting everything and I think I know why. I’ve been sleeping and forcing myself to get amnesia as I was doing so. Why? What happened to make me do this? Well, it must be something bad. Besides, I was only forgetting one part of my life. Everything else is clear, besides the things I was forgetting. I wonder how long I’ve slept. What’s even more interesting is that I can remember these thoughts like opening a book and reading, but without the book part – which I’m doing now. I know somebody taught me this. I think her name was Namine. She was a descendant and named after a keyblade master’s wife’s Nobody. Even though I have an all access pass to my brain, I should still write these memories in a real journal anyway.
I started off seeing a light. I didn’t think that was a good thing. Then it looked like I was gaining my consciousness back.
“Ah crap!” I thought. That bad taste after sleeping was there, and it really did tasted like crap.
How long have I been sleeping!? I jumped up and spat down to the ground that’s about seventy feet down. Oh good, I knew this place: the train station tower in Twilight Town. But why was I all the way up here? I was about to find out when I stood up and suddenly tripped off the ledge and go plummeting head first. At least I knew I’ve been sleeping for a friggin’ long time or else I wouldn’t have walked like a drunk.
I was falling towards the train tracks and a train was coming my way. Just when I was in front of the speeding train and still in midair, my brain went into overdrive and I had two choices: A)Get hit by the train and hope for the best, or B)grab onto the headlight, flip myself over to the top, and try to land on my stomach, seeing as I can’t even stand. I got hit by the train and hoped that I wouldn’t get hit by a building.
What do you know? I got hit by a building, bounce off like a ragdoll and landed on the train on my stomach.
It wasn’t what I planned for but at least I got to where I needed to be. Halfway through that short and painful trip, I think I was begging for euthanasia and get hit by the train again. Luckily, those two extremely painful blows made my body go back to normal from adrenaline. I sat up quickly, which really hurt my back, and checked to see if I’m in one piece. Then I noticed that on top of my left hand, a VI is there. A six, huh? I wondered, and still do, what that means.
Well, now’s the time to refresh of what memory I have left right now. My name’s Alphaneb, but I think Alph is better. I believe I look to be fifteen-years-old, because I’m not. I was also wearing some awesome leather black cloak with chains around the neck along with black, fingerless gloves that has an open spot for me to see the VI and black shoes. I would think I slept for amnesia because I had to be an emo. Then again, emos don’t wear cool clothes as these. As for my weapon, I summon it in my hand. A yo-yo… Super. Hold on, this is my Storm Yo-yo. Great! And I mean it too.
My hair’s really long—I could use it as a blanket! — so I can see that it’s white, and the reflection on the yo-yo tells me that I have yellow eyes and that I’m sunburned at the face from sleeping under the sun for who knows how long.
As the Nobody part, that is what I am. Except for the fact that I have a heart, which most Nobodies don’t. My Other is Theo, who gave his heart to me because he was dying and didn’t want to waste his young heart. But that was a long time ago… about 300 years (as far as I can know). I guess the heart made me stop aging, except for the hair and nails. That covers just about that much I remember.
    And just in time too.
A weird, white Shadow came out. I mean, this thing was some sort of the opposite colored of a normal one. It had blue eyes and a white body. The figure was the same though. I didn’t get the time to think why because a floor door opened behind me and a guy came out. He had a keyblade. Then ten other guys came out after him. Check that, they all had keyblades. This is unprecedented, ten keyblade masters. I mean, I heard of four or five appeared around at the same time centuries ago, but ten!? So the enemy’s an albino Heartless, big deal. One keyblade master should be able to handle that. But the Shadow wasn’t the only enemy. The other was me.
“An Organization member!” one of them yelled. I bet that member is me and it was because of this cloak, or maybe the VI on my hand.
Whatever it was, they charged at me and the white Shadow. Then the strangest thing happened. It came up in front of me and blocks the assault. Then another strange thing happens. It spoke to me.
“Run… away… King… Soul,” it said as it was getting the crap beaten out of it by the keyblade masters. But the form of the attackers was wrong. They weren’t skillful; they’re using their weapons like a hammer.
I had no idea what to do now. I could help the Shadow and ask him about… things, or I could jump off the train and try to land on some people for a soft landing. Well, I did need answers. Helping it probably wouldn’t be so bad. I threw my yo-yo to attack the keyblade wielders. But it never got to its target. Heck, I accidentally hit the Shadow instead! Luckily, it seemed that the attack didn’t have any effect. I guess the sleep made me weak and brought me back to square one.
It was time to go with plan B. I jumped off the train, but I didn’t look to where I was jumping and a slammed into another building. So much for soft landing. I guess I made a dent shaped as me on the wall because I was just sticking there. When I finally slipped off, I landed hard on my butt. I got up and ran as fast as I can away from the train tracks. I found an alleyway and ran into it to rest.
I thought about what the white Heartless said. It wasn’t hard since all I had to do was enter my memory bank. “King… Soul” it said. Who’s King Soul? I didn’t know it is or any clues to find him. And why was it white? But I didn’t have time to think because of a stupid thief.
I felt a hand reach down my pocket. This guy sucked, and I might as well have a little practice to refresh my skills. I grabbed his arm and judo threw him to the ground. Unfortunately, the sunburn made that move a double-edged attack. I dropped to my knees and gasped as if it would drive the pain away. Meanwhile, the thief was running away.
I ran after him for some unknown reason. Or maybe there was a reason but I didn’t bother to think it through. I started to notice how I wasn’t catching up to him. I became slower too! That really sucked. The crowd that I chased him through didn’t help at all. At least my eyesight’s good since I can see him through the dozens of heads in my way.
After we cleared that obstacle, I thought that I might as well try magic.
“Stopa!” I said and raised my hand to him. He stopped instantly. And I almost passed out but I tackled him just before the spell wore off.
“Lemme go!” he yelled. He tried to fight me off but I was holding him with a death grip.
“Not until you tell me why you tried to pickpocket me!” I answered.
“What do you care? You’re part of Organization M.”
    “Organization what?”
That’s as far as I could ask because the next thing I know, somebody pushed me off.
“Kazuki! Are you crazy?” I heard a girl’s voice say. I guessed the thief was Kazuki. “He’s and Org. member. Run NOW!”
Then they took off about five feet away and jumped on a gummi ship. I can’t believe I didn’t see that thing land. I managed to see what the two looked like. They were both my age, or what I looked like at least. Kazuki had brown hair, and the girl had red hair. The ship flew off pretty quickly, so I just watched it go into space. But I thought why would a bunch of kids my age (which will always be 15) have a gummi ship? The next thought was even more important: what’s Organization M? I tried to remember what “M” meant. 1000. There are 999 more people with this cloak
I guess they’re bad guys, and this cloak would only put me into more trouble. I ran into another alleyway and put the cloak inside a perfectly good backpack I found in a trash dump. I was already wearing clothes under the cloak, so at least I didn’t have to walk around naked. The shoes had some type of hard substance in the middle, the pants were black, and the t-shirt was blue. I decided to keep the gloves on since it had this flap to cover the hole that showed the “VI” on my hand. I also really needed a haircut. I found a pocket knife in another dumpster and cut my hair. It hurt, but at least it my hair looks cool now.
Then a thought came to me: I need a journal. I don’t know why, but I just feel like I need one. I found some munny in the backpack and bought one at a store. Another thought came to me: I FRIGGIN’ NEED FOOD!!!!!!
I spent the rest of the munny on something called sea salt ice-cream. All I could think then was that it was the best snack I ever ate (but I’m still very hungry). Then I wrote down what happened so far in this journal.

This is not good. I found out that I’m not in the same set of galaxies where Kingdom Hearts is. I’m in a set of galaxies where Kingdom Soul is. That explains what that white heartless was trying to say to me. I found out about Kingdom Soul from a newspaper stand conveniently on the other side of the building. The paper company was called “Kingdom Soul News.”
I didn’t think walking around asking people for what Kingdom Soul is because I would be suspicious. But how hard is it to find a connection between the two Kingdoms? Anyway, I found a bookstore and looked up for Kingdom Soul’s history. During the search though, I found a book called “End of Twilight Town, Beginning of Dawn City.” Great, now I’m in Dawn City. I took that book, but I never found what I was looking for. On the better side, someone stashed hundreds of munny in here, so I could buy it.
When I finished the book, a lot of things made sense to me now. Twilight Town was sucked in a warp hole and popped out here somewhere. Then it expanded a lot due to the visits from other worlds, and then the name changed to Dawn City. Apparently, this set of galaxies is connected and traveled by every single world. I wondered how they kept order. That’s when I found the biggest book in the library. It was about Organization M.
As I thought, there were 1000 members. But when I looked up Number VI, it was some guy named Hiruma. I guess I got the VI tattoo from the Kingdom Hearts galaxies. As I read on, there were thirteen leaders in Organization M: I. Malciz, II. Sleipner, III. Spyro, IV. Vaos, V. Maoh, VI. Hiruma, VII. Agon, VIII. Xela, IX. Tsume, X. Zeriax, XI. Otto, XII. Kenokunapaulyern, and XIII. Saxor. The Organization was made up of people called Strangers. The huge group seems a little bit familiar to me. I wonder why.
The book also said that Malciz is the leader of another group that controls these creatures called Soulless. There was a picture of the same white heartless as the one I saw on the train. So I guess that Soulless are the Heartless in these galaxies. Very original.
The main leaders of this group were Malciz, Bowser, King Boo, Ganondorf, Star Wolf, King DDD, and Mewtwo. They’re supposed to be the leaders of the current worlds of Kingdom Soul, but there seems to be resistance. Half of the normal people agree with their government, but the other half are rebellions. And check this: all the rebels have keyblades. They hunt down Soulless and Strangers in order to get strong enough to take down the two groups.
I didn’t bother reading the rest of the book because of its hugeness and all. I went out to try and find out other things, but all I did was meet the thieves again.
“You!” I yelled at them. I really didn’t know why, and I still don’t.
“You!” they replied. “You’re that Organization member, Hiruma!”
That caused a scene. Everyone around us started staring and muttering something. Then they all summoned their keyblades. Rebels. I would say they were good guys, but anyone who wants to try and kill me is my enemy. Unfortunately, I was and still am weak from that stupid long sleep. I was surrounded, so I couldn’t run away. Luckily, a brown-haired boy with wings swooped me up and flew me somewhere. We landed inside the gates of a broken down mansion.
“Who are you?” I asked him.
“Not now,” he replied. “Gotta get you into the safe zone first.”
    “Where?”
“Inside that mansion.” So we went in. It was a short five second walk. Didn’t see what the big deal was.
The inside was surprisingly clean. Everything was white.
“Okay, now we’re inside,” I said. “Care to tell me your name now?”
“It’s Pit. And who are you?”
    “Alph.”
“So you’re really not Hiruma or part of the Organization, are you?”
    “I might’ve been in a different one.”
“Well, I guess we can’t trust you completely then.”
“We? You’re not the only one here?”
For my answer, two guys jumped down from upstairs. There was a short, mustached man wearing red with blue overalls, and a slightly taller one wearing green.
“Alph, the three of us are the true rebels right now. These two are Mario and Luigi.”
“Nice-a to meet ya!” Mario said in a weird accent.
“Uh, nice to meet you too,” was my reply.
Pit asked me,” I saw you come out of the library. I take it you read the big book.”
“Yeah. But if you guys are rebels, why don’t you have keyblades?”
“We weren’t born in Dawn City. Didn’t you read that keybladers only come from the Dawn City and Cruise Overpass worlds?”
I knew I should’ve read the whole thing. After a bit of more talking, I found out the complete story in a few minutes. Pit said that their allies were intelligent Soulless and Strangers, two people here, and they have a base on each world with more members.
Some of the normal Soulless and Strangers grew feelings somehow and knew what was right and wrong. I think that white Shadow that spoke to me was an ally of theirs. I wonder if it’s still okay or not. The keyblade rebels didn’t know the difference so they just kill off any they see.
Anyway, the team is planning to search for better members than those keyblade-master wannabes. Honestly, I didn’t know why they were telling me this, but I guess they are the good people with the right intentions AND method AND knowledge of who’s good and who’s bad.
After eating a huge feast of food called pasta and pizza, I was halfway full. We were celebrating for me being a new member. These guys had a good way about them. Whatever the problem Kingdom Soul has, these guys can fix it. I sat down afterwards and continued the journal.

Talk about twists of events! The other two members in Dawn City came in and…
“YOU!!” Kazuki yelled when he saw me writing in my journal.
“Seriously, can’t we say something else other than yelling, ‘You!’?”
“What the heck are YOU doing here!?” the red-haired girl next to Kazuki said.
“Why are emphasizing the ‘you’?” I said back.
They both summoned their keyblade, but something looked different about the weapons from the others. I couldn’t put my finger to it until later.
Before they attacked me, Mario and Luigi jumped in front of me and told the other two to stop.
    “He’s Hiruma!” Kazuki argued.
“No, I fought Hiruma. That’s not him,” Pit said when he came to see what the fuss was about. “Remember this?” He pointed back at his right wing.
It was shredded. I didn’t even notice that. Whoever Hiruma is, I bet he’s pretty tough. I guess. Maybe not. I mean, shredding a wing isn’t that hard.
“And he took out fifty other rebels,” Pit continued. Huh. I guess Hiruma is strong if he went through fifty keyblade masters. I needed to clear up some things.
“Uh, so... no hard feelings? We good?” I asked Kazuki.
    “Yeah, we’re okay,” he said.
“And we understand that you started this, right?”
    “What?! You started our fight!”
“No, you tried to pickpocket me!”
Then we went into a fist fight suddenly. The girl was trying to stop us, but she was smart enough to back away after a few seconds. Then we heard an explosion, which caused us to stop fighting.
    “What wazzat?” I asked.
    “Number XII,” Pit said.
    “Kenokunapaulyern?” I said.
“Just call him number XII!” Kazuki said and punched me.
“Stop hitting me!” I yelled and we started the fighting again until Mario and Luigi pulled us back.
“Get a grip,” Pit said. “Rebel Annihilation has begun.”
I didn’t have to ask. The title was easy enough to understand.
“So, what do we do?” I asked him.
“You three do nothing and stay here,” he replied, pointing at me, Kazuki, and the girl (I really should’ve asked for her name earlier). “Mario, Luigi, and I will go fend No. XII off with the other rebels.”
The three ran out. Mario carried a cape and Luigi carried a red flower with him. Pit took his bow, tested it by turning it into twin swords, put it back into a bow, then left. The three of us stood watching.
“So, uh, what’s your name?” I asked the girl.
“Callie,” she replied. “Sorry for the misunderstanding.”
“Ah, it’s okay. Things like that happen.”
    “What’s your name?” Kazuki asked.
    “Alph.”
That was the end of our conversation for a while. We heard many other explosions. I don’t know what No. XII could do, but those explosions can’t be good. Another came, then another and another. The sounds were getting closer. I stuck my head out of a window to see what was going on. The city was in flames. I don’t know what ticked inside me but I ran out the door into the battle field.
I saw tons of bodies on the ground. And tons of Soulless on top of those bodies, taking out the souls (hearts?) out of the keyblade wielders. I finally noticed the difference between those keyblades and Kazuki and Callie’s keyblades. Kazuki and Callie’s had keychains. The others were just weapons that I doubt could transform. The souls were blue and had a weird egg shape that went fiery spiky at the top. Looks weird compared to hearts.
Then I looked up to see Mario, Luigi, and Pit fighting another person on a roof. I summoned my yo-yo, although I don’t know why I even chose this as a weapon, and forced my way through the Soulless army. Surprisingly, the yo-yos were good weapons. The string between the body of the yo-yo and my finger were razor sharp I could take out any enemy between me and the body of the toy. I was even good at fighting with the toy too. I guess I just needed to spend a few hours awake before I could fight again.
I looked up at the fight again. Pit was down, but Mario and Luigi were fighting amazingly. Mario threw his brother at No. XII at full speed. Luigi head butted him hard and sent him flying to the opposite side. I couldn’t see the rest of the fight because a white Darkside came up. I called it a Brightside afterwards. But Strangers can’t control Soulless. I searched for the leader of the Brightside. I spotted Bowser, since I saw his picture. He was on top of another building. He would be MY target.
I waited for the big Soulless to stick its hand to the ground. Like its darker cousin, it did. At least the way they fight isn’t different. I jumped on its hand, ran up the arm to the head, and jumped onto the other hand when it tried to swipe me off. It threw its hand towards Bowser and I jumped off to tackle him with the extra speed the Soulless gave me. It was a really bad idea. Bowser shot a friggin’ fireball at me.
I tried to block it with my yo-yos, but they melted in my hand. Ouch! But I managed to pull free of it and escape the fireball. I landed on the same building as Bowser and blowing the fire out of my hands. He tucked inside his shell and spun really fast. Then he charged towards me. I tried jumping over him, but he was producing a small cyclone that sucked me into the spikes on his back. Then a gummi ship rammed into him out of nowhere. Bowser went flying towards the Brightside and crushed its head with his shell. No. XII was limping when I saw him go to Bowser and made a dark portal and they both went in.
Now that I think back, I never knew how to make a portal. Nobodies like me should know how to, but I don’t. I wonder why? Heck, I wonder why I’m wondering this again.
I turned my attention back to the gummi ship. Through the cockpit window, I saw Kazuki and Callie, both wide-eyed and looking as if they could wet their pants any second now. I ran towards and knocked on the cockpit. I waved. They looked at me and waved back, still having the fear stuck to their faces.
A little bit later, the Mario Bros – a name I’ll call Mario and Luigi together, but I think I heard of the name before – came to us carrying an unconscious Pit. Kazuki opened the cockpit and the rest of us put him in the backseat.
“Whoo!” Mario sighed. “That-a was a close one! Grazie, Alph.” I think he said thanks.
    “No problem,” I replied.
“Why’d you run off like that?” Kazuki asked, the first thing he said since he crashed into Bowser.
“Meh, beats me. I guess I didn’t like what I was seeing from the window. Besides, I’m not really part of your group anyway.”
“Well, you can stay with us if you like,” Callie said softly. “I mean, you did help Pit and the others focus on their battle. And you also kept Bowser distracted so we could ram into him.”
“I’ll think about it,” I said. I turned away and walked towards the stairs to get down. I needed to get back into shape first and new weapons. I went into the shopping place of Dawn City. It was burnt down pretty badly. Shops were crushed down, apartments were still on fire, and people were trying to fix everything. I didn’t stop though. I knew a secret hideout that was so secret nobody could find it. And I am a Nobody.
I found the gates, still locked but a little rusty. I think I knew another Nobody who controlled metal. Oh well. I climbed over fence and entered my hideout. It was really dusty, but no problem. I cleaned the place in less than thirty minutes. I sat on the couch and wrote what happened up to now.

I finally got a good weapon. It was Soul Eater, a dark sword usually held by Xehanort’s apprentice. I don’t know why I have it, but at least it’s gonna be used for good this time. I got it during a fight with Kazuki. Starting where I left off…
“Alph!?” Kazuki and Callie both said when they saw me on my couch. I just finished my last log.
    “What the-?” I said confused.
“What are you doing here?” Callie asked. “Didn’t you see the lock on the gates?”
“I owned this place before. And there was loads of dust in here. No one’s been here for years!”
“We put that dust there as cover-up in case anybody did find it,” Kazuki said. “And how did you own this place? It had been abandoned for years until we discovered it.”
I didn’t know how to answer that question. Well, I did but I doubt that the two would believe me. So I told them.
“I’m three-hundred-something-years-old,” I said flatly. They just stared. Then they looked at each other. Then they stared back.
“Yeah right,” Kazuki said first. “I’m pretty sure we would know a three-hundred-year-old man when we see one.”
“I’m serious; I’m not joking about this.”
“Heh, you probably are from the Organization if you think we’ll buy that crap.” Kazuki took out his keyblade, and sure enough it had a keychain.
“Whoa, what the heck are you doing?” Callie asked and stepped back. “We don’t know if he really is in the Org.”
“And we don’t know if he isn’t either,” he countered. “Besides, Pit said we can’t trust him anyway.”
“Well, actually, he said you guys can’t trust me ‘completely’,” I said.
“Shut up! I’m gonna finish you right here, right now!” Kazuki snapped at me. He moved back a bit for the charge. That was my chance to get out of here.
I launched myself and tackled him before he could attack me. We rolled a few feet towards the door then I jumped up from him and dived through the opening and landed on my face, skidding on the sidewalk. I still had the sunburn, so it left one really red mark on my face. I stood up and turned around.
“I’m not part of the Organization!” I yelled at Kazuki.
He stood up, too, and looked at me. He raised his keyblade and said, “Blizzard!” An ice spear (you don’t see those every day) came from his keyblade and stabbed my shoulder and got me stuck to the wall behind me. “No blood,” he said as he came walking to me. He was right. Only black smoke was coming down from my wound. He continued, “Only Strangers and Soulless don’t have blood.”
“No,” I said, getting angry for him stabbing me with an ice spear. Who wouldn’t? “Not just Strangers and Soulless. Heartless and Nobodies can’t bleed either.”
“And who exactly are these ‘Heartless and Nobodies?’”
“They’re the Soulless and Strangers of Kingdom Hearts,” I said and looked at him with anger. “And I’m a Nobody, so you guys can’t beat me.” I grabbed the cold spear and ripped it out of my shoulder. It started to transform into something else. A bright light appeared in place of the spear. The coldness went away and the weight changed. When the light died down, I saw a weird black and red sword that seemed familiar. It took me a bit to remember that the weapon is Soul Eater, a dark keyblade first wielded by Riku.
Why I have it? Don’t know, don’t care. Yet. I’m just happy I have a weapon now.
Kazuki stared at the sword, then me, then the sword again. Callie just looked blank. I took that time to heal the hole in my shoulder. “So, uh,” I said to break the silence, “are we gonna finish this or what?” Kazuki didn’t do anything, so I decided to knock him out with some earth magic. I pointed my awesome new sword at him and said, “Gaia.”
Nothing. I repeated the word over and over again, but the best I could manage was to shoot a dried clump of dirt that broke into dust on contact. That seemed to put Kazuki back to the world.
“What the hell was that?” he said, almost laughing. He charged at me again. Even if my – or the keyblade’s – magic sucks, I’d beat with the sword then. Didn’t work out too well.
Even though I had Soul Eater, it seemed that it is extremely weak or it really only did work for Xehanort’s apprentice. Which brings me to the thought: Was I his apprentice? The answer, I found out later, is no. As a bonus, that answer gave me lots of others. But back to the fight.
Soul Eater was like a sword of awesome strength used to beat up its user, and only the user. I tried deflecting one of Kazuki’s attacks, but the S.E. (Soul Eater) hit my head when I did. When I tried to attack, it would be pushed back like a magnet facing the same type as it. In the end, I couldn’t even touch Kazuki and he hit me on the head to many times. I almost blacked out until Callie finally regained her senses and blocked me with her keyblade from the would-be final blow.
“Stop it, Kazu!” she yelled at him. Kazu is his nickname I guess. From now on, I’ll write his name as Kazu. “You’re fighting against a guy with a worse than useless sword here. What’s wrong with you!?”
She helped me up and walked me back to the mansion with Kazu staying behind looking down at the ground.
I have to get ready to fight against No. DCCC (800), Axel. I’ll finish this up later, Kazu looks pissed.

After Callie took me back to the mansion, Mario healed me with a mushroom that had eyes. I mean, I can eat a lot of things but this was just weird. It sure did heal me quickly though. I showed Mario and Co. my new weapon and told them the problem with it. Mario took it and said that a friend of his that’s a professor might be able to see what’s wrong. His name was Professor E. Gadd, a scientist that could even make a time machine. Cool!
Kazu came back about an hour later. He looked at me, then Callie, then went upstairs to his room. I guessed I should apologize to him. But since Callie’s closer, I talked to her first.
“I’m sorry that I caused a lot of trouble,” I said.
“Oh no, it’s alright. My brother just gets very suspicious at times,” she replied.
“W-,” I stopped. Did she say brother? I thought Kazu was her boyfriend or something. Besides the blue-eyes, I can’t see the resemblance. “He’s your BROTHER?!” I asked very loudly.
“What? You thought he was my boyfriend or something?”
    I nodded.
    “Really?”
    I nodded.
“Well, we’re not. You never see us kiss each other and that never, ever happened.”
“Okay, okay, I get it. You two are siblings not couples. Twins?”
    “Fraternal, yes.”
“Well, that clears up a lot of things. I guess I’ll go ask Mario about the professor.”
I found Mario in the training room where he practices his jumping – I really didn’t know what jumping can do for a battle, but I found out that he stomps his foot on an opponent’s head really hard – and asked him what E. Gadd was like. He told me that the professor invents lots of mechanical stuff like weapons, ships, and items. But he also told me that the professor is a bit odd. He was right.
Professor E. Gadd came in the next day. He was short with one clump of hair that was neatly curved upward at the front of his head. His glasses had a swirly decoration on it and I have no idea how he could see.
“Hello, you must be Ralph,” he greeted me when I opened the door.
“Uh, it’s Alph,” I corrected him. He didn’t seem to notice though. “It’s nice to meet you.”
“Thank you, Calf. Now, where’re Mario and his friends.”
“It’s Alph. Mario, Luigi, and Pit are training and the other two are in their rooms.”
He went inside and went towards where Mario and the others are. I went upstairs to tell the twins that the professor came. Kazu was on this thing called a “computer” and was on this “website” called “Moogle” and was looking for details about the Organization. He just went downstairs when I told him the professor came. Things didn’t go as smoothly with Callie.
I’d forgotten to knock a door before coming into any room since I never lived in a house for a long time. When I came in, Callie was looking at the mirror doing something to her hair. Here’s the weird part: her hair was black! She was putting this weird liquid stuff (which I found out is called “dye”) to make her hair red. She saw my reflection and yelled at me to get out and threw the bottle at me, but I closed the door in time. I told her that E. Gadd was here through the door and quickly sprinted downstairs to meet up with the others. I asked Kazu if he knew that Callie’s hair was actually black but he didn’t answer. I guessed he was still mad at me.
When I got back to the professor, he told me he to attack Kazu with Soul Eater as hard as I can. I was confused at first but remembering that the keyblade was useless, I grabbed the weapon and tried to chop off Kazu’s head. He didn’t see me when I slashed at him and the blade stopped like 5 feet away from his head and, again, went back to me. I ducked and my keyblade just cut a piece of my hair off. Only an old guy and a Nobody saw the result.
Next, the professor told me to just poke Luigi at the butt with the tip of the weapon. Luigi was busy talking with Mario and was totally unaware. I didn’t think the sword would get to Luigi so I kinda jabbed at his rear. The sword connected.
“YEOWAWAWAH!!!!” Luigi yelped as he jumped up through the roof. Everyone looked in my direction to see what happened.
“As I thought, your sword only can’t harm Kazuki here,” he told me. I asked him why and his answer was, “This keyblade has part of his soul in it.”
Everyone stared at my keyblade, then to Kazu. Luigi still hadn’t come down yet.
“That’s not possible,” I said. “The sword never touched him.”
“Well, it’s more like a different Kazu,” the professor replied. “The soul in your keyblade seems to have been in here for centuries.” None of us understood. “Something like Kazu’s relative,” he said so we could understand.
“So Alph really is 300-years-old,” Callie said.
Kazu looked angry again and said, “And he took the soul of one of our ancestors.”
“Wait, what!? No I didn’t. It only doesn’t hurt,” I said. Then I swiped my keyblade and chopped off very small thread from Callie’s hair. She screamed and instinctively slapped me hard on the face.
“Why’d you do that for?” she yelled at me.
“Just trying to prove a point.” Her slap hurt like hell. Pit came in between us tried to calm them down. Luigi still hadn’t come down. Nobody really bothered wondering when there was a bigger even taking place.
“So I can basically fight anybody with Soul Eater except Kazu,” I asked the professor.
“That’s right!” he confirmed. “Now let us put you on a job.”
    “Wait, what? Job? What job?”
“You’ll be hunting down the Organization members.”
    “Why?”
“Because if you want to live here, you have to do your part. Now go find Number M.” He gave me this weird dual-screen tracking device that looked more like game thingie more than anything.
    “But I don’t live here,” I complained. “I got a home already.”
“That’s not your home,” he said. “Your home’s far away in a different universe.”
    “How’d you-?”
“I saw some of your memory from the keyblade.” That was basically the end of our discussion before he pushed me out.
Mario and Pit followed me to help me find Yu Ho, Number M (she had a very sad name in my opinion). The tracking device locates all Soulless at the bottom screen and Strangers at the top. We didn’t need it because Yu and ten more members ambushed us at the entrance.
They weren’t hard, but very annoying. I also noticed that their coats were white, not black. They were always jumping around and attacking us with boomerangs, needles, etc. Mario jumped on three heads and knocked them out. Pit shot down two with his weird blue arrow that he makes out of nowhere. I used Strike Raid to take down four including the Ho (I can’t help but write that down). The eleven of them started to turn into thin, white lines.
“That’s it?” I asked. “That’s all I have to do?” Looking down, I saw one bag where each of the Strangers was. I picked it up and opened it. There was about 500 munny in each. “Cool. Now what?”
“We just take it,” Pit said. “The higher the rank of a member, the more munny we get. And-“
“They get stronger. I get it.”
We went inside since our job today was done (way too easily) and I went to ask Kazu and Callie a question.
“I was wearing a black coat when you guys attacked me. The Organization wears white. Why the heck d’you guys attacked me?”
“You were wearing black?” Kazu asked. “I saw white.”
    “Me too,” Callie agreed.
I thought over to what they said and it dawned on me that my long hair must’ve covered the black.
“So where’s your coat then?” Kazu asked. I went to the hideout and brought my bag back and showed them. “You weren’t kidding. So you are really not in their league.”
“You think?!” was my reply. “Just because I have a tattoo on my hand does not mean I’m part of the Organization.”
“They don’t have tattoos,” Pit said. “You probably had it before your long sleep.”
I did not think of that. I rubbed my tattoo trying to remember how it got there and then I saw something that tattoos don’t normally do. As I moved my finger up along the tattoo, it changed from “VI” to “VII.”
    “That… is… weird,” I said to myself.
“What is it?” the professor said.
“My tattoo just changed numbers.” I moved my finger rapidly and let go like I was some DJ and the number went down quickly and stopped at XV.
    “Interesting. Try summoning your keyblade.”
I did as I was told, but the keyblade didn’t come. Instead, a huge black blade appeared in my hand. I was like,” Whoa! Where did this come from?” And the others were shocked as well. I moved the tattoo to XIV and a giant ninja star replaced the sword. I looked at the professor and asked, “How’d you know that was going to happen.”
“Before the Organization was made,” he started, “a couple Strangers named Vexen and Zexion worked with me. They were wearing the same coat as you were. Anyway, we studied this mark that is seen as a tattoo mark like yours. Zexion’s book said that the user could carry anything they want: weapons, items, armor, clothing, and a lot more.”
“That is awesome,” I said happily. Then I noticed something. “Then why does it stop at XV?”
“That I do not know. Only Zexion read the book about it.”
We didn’t talk about serious things for the rest of the day. We ate, watched this box called a “Plasma TV” to see some news, finally saw Luigi come down and went to sleep. For the next five days, I hunted down Organization members down with the others. Sometimes we split up to get rid of the members around the city. We took out 50 members, but the numbers turned out to be random. We took out No. XXIX on the fourth day. I guess just because your number is near the top doesn’t mean you’re almost as strong as them.
Then the time came to go to a new world to get rid of Axel. He’s in this world called Hyrule and works with Ganondorf. Mario said that we should take him out as well. Our allies should be waiting at where we’re landing. We’re still flying there with Mario as the pilot. He’s not bad, but Luigi looks scared to death. He told me that he’s afraid of heights.
