  1. When I get out of high school I want to go into writing scripts and storylines for movies and one of my goals is to succesfully make a Disney movie. Of course I'm going to try and make an animated Kingdom Hearts one(keep your eyes open for it in the next 15 years or so, lol), but I want to come up with an original movie too. Only problem is it seems like all the fairy tales have been made into Disney movies. I was wondering if anyone knows of a story that hasn't been made into a movie yet. I'm also trying to come up with some that aren't based off of fairy tales, but today I want to know what fairy tale/fable/legend/etc. hasn't been done yet.

I would suggest reading Brothers' Grimm Fairytales and some of the work of Hans Christian Anderson. Many of Disney's movies have been based on stories in their work.

Does MGM still have movie rights to The Wizard of Oz? If not, I would love a movie that is fairly accurate to the books. I've been an Oz fan since I was a little girl. Ever since I read the books, I have a hard time watching the MGM movie.

Maybe an idea would be to check some Asian fairytales, they have usually very lovely stories with a beautiful depth. Usually godesses and dragons are featured, which is a source for creativity :) On of my other all-time favorites is the Last Unicorn, I know it's been made in a movie once, but I think with Disney's techniques it could be even more beautiful :) Can't think of any more right now, probably be back :)

Brother's Grimm would be more of an adult horror film then a children's... though return to Oz ain't kid friendly, but is my favourite...
