    ‪ArcadiaComms VG Music picks #2 "Sanctuary ~after the battle~" (Kingdom Hearts II)‬‏ - YouTube

It has been 2000 years since Sora's adventures and the world of Destiny Islands has changed drastically. Destiny Islands couldn't handle the population booming after many years of prosperity. The people of the world prayed for a new area to build upon but as the residents were about to leave their home because of lack of food, a volcano nearby the two islands created a large third island, rich in soil and fertile ground. It was the start of something new; a new adventure. The new land, covered 10% more of the world's oceans but the new world, they called Destiny, was massive in scale. New landforms were created and animals started to thrive on the new land. Destiny Islands was no longer a prison for many. It became an Island of Destiny; the world of paradise. That new landform was created 200 years ago but many things have changed. From these new found resources, Destiny is now a metropolis; a city built from the metal found in mines and electricity from the engineers of Traverse Town and Radiant Gardens. They formed the new city, which was named after the great hero, Sora. A monument in the middle of Sora resembles Sora and Kairi sharing a paopu fruit, reminding their citizens of their great heroes and also of their humble history. The city of Sora, however, is becoming corrupted, as munny has grown to become a great factor. A military leader called Zarnic has been demanding the citizens to pay their taxes but as greed deepens, new creatures from the dark alleyways of the streets of Sora have swiped innocents away. Many people are scared and as the keyblade once again returns, it is time for something anew. This is the story of Kiro and his friends. It is time to rekindle hope and shape the world's Destiny but disaster strikes before they could change anything. Welcome to Neo Kingdom Hearts.

    ‪Bak.R - Kingdom Hearts Destiny - 05 - Xion Theme (Orchestral version by Bak.R)‬‏ - YouTube

Thinking of you, wherever you are. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend. Now I will step forward to realize this wish. And who knows: starting a new journey may not be so hard, or maybe it has already begun. There are many worlds, and they share the same sky - one sky, one destiny.

Kiro stared at the monument of Sora and Kairi holding a poapu fruit together on a tree. On the bottom of the bronze sculpture, there was a inscription. That inscription above. It was on the letter from Kairi to Sora all those years ago.
"It's stunning, isn't it? We sometimes forget about how nice Destiny used to be. It's a shame. A goddamn shame" a man said from behind, holding his son by the hand. The son was about 6 years old with a frown on his face and a tear running down his cheek. Kiro looked down to see why he was crying. There was a whipped mark on his knee.
"My boy tried to kick a soldier. He almost was killed"
Kiro only turned towards the sculpture.
"Why couldn't I be born then? During Sora's time?"
He walked away from the sculpture with a clenched fist, not looking back. He was sad about what was happening to the town. He looked up at the dark sky, which clouded the sky from sunlight. It was a fog of industrial waste but Sora knew it was something else. It was trying to infect people with the darkness and turn them into heartless. That is the only reason why the heartless have sprung up. Many of them have appeared ever since the light was clouded and even more have attacked innocent people. Kiro walked up a street with blinking lights, making it hard to see what was coming at him. There were no cars on the road. Kiro turned right at a crossing and walked up to a shady, steel reinforced building, only big enough for two people. It had one bedroom and one kitchen and one washroom. The kitchen was only one small table with the oven going on the fritz often. The walls were cluttered with blood stained on the walls and dirt tarnished the carpet. Despite these terrible characteristics, Kiro and his friends have been unable to pay their taxes and housing fees. The government has been tracking them down for a long time and are constantly checking to get fees paid for. The problem; they are all denizens of light. As he closed the door to the house and locked it afterwards, he simply just stared at the red stained rusty handled door. What were they going to do? The government are down their backs and probably suspecting light activity. Everyone is dying from the heartless outbreaks and despite of their attempts, to fight them back, nothing has changed. Kiro arranged everyone to meet at his house on that night before wise, to discuss on what to do next so he tried to relax and wait for them. He sat down on the dusty and overused couch. It wasn't very comfortable on the back, as the metal spring pinched him on the spine. Kiro closed his eyes and dreamed of Destiny Islands; the waves, the sun, the stars. That's what he's dreamt of for his whole life. No worrying.

A girl stood up on top of a small sky scraper of the old days, meaning it was only a small building with ten stories. An old part of Destiny that was back when the city was not corrupted.

Her black hair blew in the wind, fragments of darkness, mainly a black color rain began to fall down upon the city her hair getting wet. She stood up and looked around the surroundings. People rushed out of the dark rain the best they could to their homes, many homes though were in trash bins, boxes, old abandoned buildings, even some buildings that could fall down any second.

She jumped down and could see in the darkness corner of the alley she jumped down into, a small group of yellow eyes became visible. She closed her eyes and opened them walking on and stopped at a box where an old man sat with an old worn out jacket and a beard a foot long. He shivered from the cold due to the clouds of darkness blocking out the sun. She crouched down and reached into a bag on her waist and pulled out a small muffin..

"I wish I could give you more, a better box even." She told the old man laying down the wrapped muffin onto his lap before walking away before he could ask her questions.

Her name is Selena, she is the Robin Hood of Destiny, a wanted criminal for thieving and refussal of paying tax. She has been on the run from government for a longer time and since she's been on the run she joined forces with a few people who came to be her friends.

She walked up to an abandoned looking house, the windows smashed in and boarded up, graffettit drawn on the old brick walls. She laid her hand on the doorknob and pushed hard to get the door open and closed it behind her, her body drenched but she quickly walked into the woodburner. She sat down and lit a match throwing it into the woodburner which had some wood in it. She turned around seeing a boy sitting at the table.

"Kuro." She spoke his name and nodded joining him at the table.

"Hey Selena, did anyone follow you?" Kuro asked, closing the curtains made out of cardboard. He sat back down and the metal pierced through his skin and stabbed him a little. He cried out, "f**k I've had enough of this s**thole!" in response to the accident. He got back up from his feet and kicked the couch. The springs burst from the couch. Kuro carefully tried to sit down on it but then fell through to the floor. Kuro remained seated, looking like a small child, sitting on a tiny chair. He placed his hands on his face.
"We need to get out of here and get some help from other worlds. The keyblades should give a message to the worlds that darkness is brewing. Wish I had one..."

The light shines, and a boy walked in a dusted street. His name was Gold, and his full name wasn't known.
"Man, I need to visit Kiro. I hope gives me something. But.. I'll deal with him later." Gold said.

Gold raise up his sword, the Luciendar. He wanted a journey to begin.

"I hope my parent's are okay. Good thing I told them not to go outside." Gold said to himself, and he looked at the sky. Then Gold go inside a house that looks abandoned, and he doesn't see a thing.

"Why is this the future? Why is this town.. looks empty?..." Gold was scared. He goes out the house and keeps finding for Kiro. He can't find a person, but he sees one standing near blinking lights, and it was a Heartless.

"D..Dang, is that one of the people living here?--" Gold said and tears cross his cheeks.
"I have no other choice but.. I will kill you!" Gold charged at the Heartless. The Heartless vanished and Gold stood up. He makes light surround him to see a thing. Gold runs in a scary and vast village.

"I have no fear, the light will help me!" Gold promises that he will not be feared. Gold looks around, and the sky even gets darker. He visited each house, and all are abandoned. A group of Heartless hides, and Gold decides to leave.

"I will leave this village." Gold escaped and he finds a picture of an Island. It was the Destiny Islands, and he sighed.

Three hundred and fifteen assassination attempts in the last year. Sixteen attempted coups. An attempted uprising, and fifteen different fugitives successfully evading the law. Wait, now, those numbers aren't right.

A properly dressed woman strode down the hall, he white hair swaying as she did so. The woman was clearly deep in thought, otherwise, she would have noticed the man sneaking around behind her.

No, wait, those numbers are right. What am I missing? She asked herself, entering the incredibly spacious office of her superior. The boss in question was sitting at his chair, snoozing. But he had all rights to do so, she noted, considering how long the previous night was for them.

"Now I remember. Zarnic, if you would please not make a mess of this one, that would be lovely," She informed him, gesturing to the incredibly bewildered intruder who had been following her. "We need to keep your secrets, after all. I'll be back in five with the morning coffee."

Five minutes later, Yedije Jals, the woman who was befuddled prior, reentered the office, ignoring the body that lay slumped against the desk. "And that makes three hundred and sixteen, sir. Here is your coffee, and I will dispose of this one, as usual. After all, we don't want people to know that you can fight."

"So you remind me, and thanks for doing so." The raven-haired man said, pulling his legs off his table and stretching. Shifting his sunglasses properly onto his nose, he stood up and looked out the window, then asked Yedije, "Isn't it nice to have a morning assassination attempt to get your day started?"

"Very good, sir," The secretary replied with a coy smile, getting out her notepad.

And looking straight back up was a stranger, an outsider to this sprawling, bustling, metropolis.
Midday. The stranger thought, wandering down the street towards a pub. He made his way inside, the mask obscuring his features from all who would survey.

"Great, another weirdo!" The barkeep complained. He had been watching for customers, as it had been a slow day for him. "Look, you pay first and then I give you your stuff, alright? I gotta make sure I can pay my taxes! I've already had enough trouble with those two damn kids. . ."

"No trouble. Here." The stranger told the bartender, handing him a mostly empty pouch of money. It was all that was left of his funds from the monastery, so it might as well be spent on physical sustenance.

    "Alright, alright. Better than nothin' I s'pose. . ."

Gold woke up in a comfortable house. The house have 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 dining room and 2 living rooms.

"What.. what is this? Is this the house that is only used?" Gold said. Then he saw a mysterious hooded man.

"Who are you?" Gold said to him but the hooded man didn't speak. Instead, the hooded man was revealed that it was a Raven.

"A Raven... I want to see one of those, but could you help me out?" Gold said to the Raven.

"Sure.. I am wise as well." the Raven talked.

"So you can speak? Well then, you can be my companion." Gold replied.

"I refuse, I am only your temporary companion." the Raven said.

"Okay.. this was weird." Gold said and he keeps finding. It was in the closet.

Gold and the Raven leaves the house and he saw a group of Heartless.

"Man, this town is getting worse than I thought." Gold said to himself.

Gold first blinds the group. Then he destroyed them with one blow and they all vanished.

"Phew.. that was a close one." Gold said.

Kuro shivered as the cold air sneaked through the rickety doors and windows.
    "Damn, its freezing"
Kuro went over to the windows to close the curtains but as he looked, he noticed a swarm of heartless sweeping down the street. Their yellow eyes then became like a tsunami as more peeped out from the ground. The shadows were coming towards them.
"Heartless are here" Kuro told Selena. It was a casual thing to see the heartless come out at night but it was unusual for them to be this close. Kuro sat back down but suddenly jumped as the heartless broke through the window and landed inside.
    "SHIT! OUT! Now!"

Gold continued and end up seeing an island with Heartless disguised as people.

"I.. I have to see.." Gold said.
The Raven still follows Gold as he tried to walk in water.
"I know I can't walk to water so-Ahhh!!" Gold shouted as he fell.

In underwater, there were underwater Heartlesses.

"Damn, Heartlesses! S-" Gold said while on Underwater.

Gold attacked the enemies slowly. All was vanished and he goes above the water.
"Phew.. Wait, where's the Raven?" Gold said.
"I am still here.." The Raven crowed.
"Oh..." The Raven became bigger. Gold ride on it's back and they flied to the Island.

The Island was dark, vast and mysterious. The people saw the visitors.

"Hello.. I am passing through.." Gold said. The people looked at Gold and the Raven. The people were disguised and they were Heartless.
    "Damn.. more Heartlesses.."
Gold see the people surrounded by more darkness and transformed into Orcus. The Leader was a Giant Orcus.
"Oh no, what the.." Gold said and uses Shinu to blind two Orcuses and they vanished quickly.
"I never seen a Giant Orcus these days!"
The Giant Orcus bashed everywhere. Gold his most powerful power, Shikuuon Karigani.
The Luciendar glowed very bright and it makes bright waves and after it hits the Orcus, the enemy vanished.
"Phew.." Gold said and the Raven flied away.
"It is leaving.. Thank you, fellow Raven."

Selena looked towards Kuro and hurried to the backdoor and opened the door only to see more heartless.

"We're surrounded!" Selena shouted closing the backdoor. She looked towards the window broken. She quickly grabbed a broom and grabbed Kuro's hand.

"I have an idea." Selena said pulling him up the stairs to the second floor running into the room they shared. She slammed the door shut and pushed the cot up against the door.

She hurried over to a boarded up window and pulled the wood boards off the window. She looked outside looking at the wire attatched to their home to the building next to them. Quickly she grabbed a sheet and threw it over the wire.

"We need to shimmy accross. Once we're over we'll be able to escape." She said quickly.

"Pww-- what's happening anyway...?" Gold said. He jumps high and in the roof, he founds a flashlight.
"This could be useful!" Gold exclaimed. He opens the flashlight and jumps off the roof. He tries to go back home.
Gold crossed 5 places: A station, the village, the abandoned farm, a castle and an active but dark village. He found his home and it was the only house with open lights. His parents are still there.
"M-mom? Dad? Are you there, guys? I have you a gift, guys." Gold said as he is going cold.
"Son, is that you? Your mom is sleeping. I am so proud of you that you made it!" Gold's Dad said.
"Oh, dad!" Gold said and he hugs his own dad.
"Dad, it is so quiet! I thought the sun was just gone. There are a few people in this world right now, I think. Dad, don't go out will you? You will be in danger." Gold said to his dad.
"I will, I promise. Go with your friends, Kuro and Selena." His dad said.
"You know them? And I really have to go, thanks for reminding- tell mom that I said hello!" Gold said and he returns where Kuro lives.

Yedije sat at her desk, one room before her superiors. But she wasn't idling the day by, oh no. She had been spending her time deep in thought, as there was no paperwork to handle for the first time in a long time. Contemplation surrounded her as much as her books did, her thoughts swirling like a maelstrom.

No, it wasn't the assassin that was off. He was originally miscounted. . . but it's something else. What is it? She mused, her brow furrowed and her fingers interlaced with eachother. Something else is missing. Unaccounted for. Unacceptab-

    "You alright, Jals?"

The resonant voice of her boss snapped the secretary out of her thought, startling her. But her reaction to this was minimal, just a slight shake of the head to snap herself out of her reverie, and it was back to real life.
"Er, yes sir," Yedije told Zarnic, reaching for some books and straightening them out.

"I'm going out for a bit. Don't let anybody touch my crap," The man instructed in his harsh tone, turning his back and walking out of the room.

He's gone now. Back to thinking.

Jaya's travels brought him to the slums, where he observed the plight of the peoples that lived there. And unfortunately for him, the plight was observing right back. Thirty pairs of plighty yellow eyes, and thirty plighty black bodies, swarming, burrowing through the shadows. But the monk was not unaware of this, and stepped lightly. He eventually reached a street where the creatures were already out in full force, swarming around what appeared to be a boarded up house.

"Unacceptable," The monk muttered, taking a combat stance. And then he leapt into the fray, slicing the creatures as he went.

Gold looks at the house where Kiro is currently in. There were heartless.
"Well, I could give him a bit help.." Gold said. He jumped high and he goes inside the chimney. Gold attacked one of the Heartlesses. He escaped and was never seen. Gold looked at the hole, seeing them talking. Gold ran away.
Gold never met someone interesting that month.. only his father, his mother, Kiro and Selena are the only ones who he knew.
"It's so lonely and freezing, I could go to Destiny Island.. without telling my parents and my friends.." Gold said.
Gold ran fast.. through his way he encounters Heartlesses..

Gold defeated every of the heartless. Then he walks through a giant post.
It said "DO NOT GO TO THE ISLAND ~The Government"
Gold sighed. He didn't follow the post and he continues to run.
Now Gold sees the Island in distance.
