My Soul to Take (Actual RP)

Alex was just finishing up a game when he checked the time. He slammed his face on his desk. He had missed a whole night of sleep. On the first day of school. And it was raining. "At least I-" He sat up suddenly. "CRAP!" He got dressed, ran outside and put his motorcycle in the garage. He ran back, grabbed his phone and called October. "Hey October? Yeah, hows your day going?"

 

OOC: Gawd guys, u need to post. I would hate to have this be just me and Kairi >.<

IC: "I am. You know, nice... Rain. My bike isnt liking it, but I fixed that. Other than that... Yeah." He sighed and sat down in his chair. "Well, its the first day of school in a couple of hours, do you need a ride? We could leave early and grab some food if you want?"

 

A young man was just finished writing his own story on his notebook. He stood up and left his notebook on his desk.
He suddenly heard a thunder and noticed it was raining. He looked at a window and looked closely outside. He goes downstairs and had his breakfast already prepared. He looked at the maid.
"Is this mine?" The young man said to the maid.
"Yes it's yours, Terra." The maid answered. The young man's name was revealed to be Terra.
Terra sat down and sips his cup of tea.

 

OOC: Mmmmmkay

IC: Alex listened as October hung up. He put his phone back in his pocket and looked back out the window. He put his black hoodie on. "Mom I'm leaving!" He yelled. "Without breakfast? Came the reply. 'Ill get something!" With that he grabbed his keys and was out the door. The rain was still pouring, getting worse even. He put his helmet on and pulled out of the garage.

On the way to school, a good 10 or 15 minute drive, Alex saw a car wreck. He shook his head. Even with all the rain, he knew the real reason for the wreck, they keep getting worse and worse. Hell just follows that devil everywhere he goes, literally and figuratively. As he started to turn right to pull in to a restaurant, he started to imagine what the demon would be like. Would he be a suave, devious mind, or be a pure hell-spawn, destroying everything with reckless abandon.

He pulled in to Trio's Diner. He sat down, placed his order and kept thinking. How could they stop the demon, if, they could stop the demon. Then he thought harder, what if it was someone he knew? Would it be Allen? No, hes too much of a d-bag. Troy? No wait- hes dead. What about October? She seemed like the person- No. Alex had known her for years, and acted like such an idiot round her that he would have stolen his own soul if he could. He finished eating, got back on his bike, and headed for school.

 

Arashi sighed as he got out of bed and brushed his unkempt hair unto one eye, his parents were out right now and probably wouldn't be back for quite a while so he was in charge of keeping their small apartment clean. As he finished his morning exercise he made his breakfast and unhooked his phone from it's usual charging spot and texted October. "I'll meet you at school, kay" and with that he began his run to school.

 

OOC: sorry I'm late. been kinda...indisposed for some time.

IC: Elijah rolled out of bed and hit the floor hard. if the alarm clock hadn't gotten him up, the fall sure had. He checked his phone. Sarah wanted to meet up. School parking lot. She was a little out there, but she never was active like this unless something was going down. So Elijah got up, got ready to face the day, and walked down to the school, which was easy since he lived so close to the damn place.

He looked around. Sarah wasn't in sight. There was another car there. a girl was in it. Elijah recognized her, but only by face. he wasn't a social animal. Either way, maybe she could point him toward Sarah. He walked over to the car and rapped on the window lightly.

"pardon me?" he said sweetly. "I'm lookin' for someone. maybe you can help me?"

 

"Umm sort of." was Elijah's reply to the girl's question. "I just graduated. I was kinda a loner, but I recognize you. Don't know your name though," he said laughing and running his hand through his hair. He looked down awkwardly at his worn out shoes. he was dressed pretty poorly compared to this girl. But he didn't really care about style, not as long as he was comfy. that's why he wore bowling shirts. If Charlie Sheen could pull it off, then damn it so could he. His shirt today was black and white, and he thought it went well with his black jeans. Granted he was very hot.

"Anyway, I'm looking for my girlfriend Sarah. She said she wanted to meet me here, but I can't find her. She's kinda gothic, most likely wearing black." Suddenly his phone went off. It was a text from Sarah.

Yang, running late. be there in a bit. Yin it said. Since Elijah was more of an upbeat and friendly person, Sarah called him the Yang to her Yin, seeing as she was more gloomy. Elijah supposed it was her way of being cutsie, and he found it one of her more endearing qualities.

"Nevermind, she's not here yet." he said to the girl. then he paused and addressed her again. "If you don't mind my asking...what are you doing here all by yourself?"

 

Suddenly Elijah remembered exactly where he knew this girl from. She had known Sarah. He had seen a picture before. But what was her name? He thought it started with an "O" but he wasn't sure. it wasn't a normal name, of that he was certain.

"October!" he said suddenly, snapping his fingers as he did so. "You know Sarah, you two are friends. she's shown me pictures before on her phone. Sorry, I'm Elijah Maroon. Now it makes sense about why I know you. " Elijah had nothing to do. He wasn't going to college for a year or so to save money, and he didn't have work today either. "Are you always here this early? there must be something better for you to do with your time." he said with a smile.

Sarah Was making her way through the parking lot toward Elijah. Her black shoes made soft knocks as they met the pavement. her lips were painted a dark shade or maroon, she liked black lipstick, but she wasn't in the mood for it today. Her black hair swept softly behind her as she walked. she was wearing a black skirt and blouse, with a bit of white in them to add definition.

"Hello, Yang" she said as she got closer to Elijah. Her voice was perfectly monotone. Then she spotted the girl. "October," she said acknoledging her existance, but keeping her voice perfectly void of emotion.

 

As October left, Elijah moved, giving her room to move around out of her car. He didn't mention it before, but he had seen the cut on the girl's lip. He didn't know what it meant, but something didn't seem right to him. And on top of that, her behavior was a little different than it was moments ago, although maybe that had something to do with the falling out she had with Sarah way back when. Sarah could be mean sometimes but under that, she was really a good person, Elijah could see that.

"Wait, October..." he said then paused as he wasn't sure why he was stopping her. "Umm...take care of yourself, Okay?" he wasn't sure what made him say this, but it seemed like he should say it.

He walked off with Sarah, in the opposite direction.

"Why were you talking to her?" asked Sarah briskly.

"I was just asking if she knew where you were. she was the firs person I saw, we started talking before i got your text." Elijah replied. Sarah hummed, acknowledging she understood him. "So why did you want me here?" he asked.

"I found this in the shop the other day, I figured I should buy it. " she held up two necklaces. They were the two halves of the Yin and Yang sign. Elijah understood why she wanted them. She was very into the occult, and would think that these charm would provide luck since they used their special nicknames. He put on the Yang necklace, as she put on the Yin. "But also, i wanted to give you this..." and then she leaned forward and kissed him on the lips. Nothing too major, just a little peck.

"I'll come by again after school, I'll take you home." said Elijah. Sarah nodded.

Sarah marched through the school, set out to find one little Junior. when she spotted her, she cornered October and gave her a cold stare.

"Don't get any ideas about Elijah." she said in an icy tone.

OOC: I want to use this semi-fight for a little backstory. You up for it Kairi? XD

 

Alex pulled up to the school's parking lot and looked around before taking his helmet off. There was a few vehicles in the lot. It was his fourth year at High School, and although he was glad to be going to college, he was sad that it would be another year before most of his friends would be graduating. That is, if theres even another year to live. He shook off the thought of it and ran inside. He saw a couple people he knew from last year, plenty of them that he would be happy to prank. He walked through the school before talking to anyone, just making sure the principal didnt screw him over like last year and rearrange all the classrooms. He returned to the main hallway until he found October. He walked up to her and said hello. "You excited about school starting up again?" He himself wasnt really, but he was excited to be able to see everyone again.

 

OOC: My turn for cool backstory and character development. hehe.

IC: Sarah fell back, but caught herself before she could fall all the way over. She sniffed, and her eyes began to get a little misty.

"You stupid bitch" she said under her breath. Normally she would have confronted October, but not like this. crying was a sign of weakness, and she wasn't weak. She ran off to the library and ducked into a lonely corner where she could compose herself in peace.

October had hurt her in a way she couldn't know. Back in Sophomore year, when they first met, Sarah had changed who she was for her. She felt like October needed a friend, so she became someone she could like, someone who would make her a better person through their friendship. Elijah had woken her up. Made her realize that if a friend forced you to be something you're not, then they weren't a friend.

So Sarah became herself again, her inner goth. It made her happy, made her an individual. someone who could stand out, and not be lost in the crowd. October didn't like the change and they began to fight. During that time, Sarah had been a real bitch to her. said things she didn't mean, but felt at the time. But...she wouldn't change anything. Elijah made her a full person again, she owed a lot to him. She even loved him. That's why she confronted October. she was afraid Elijah might fall for her. his heart was too kind for his own good.

She was feeling better, but she was still mad at October. Her words cut her like a goddamn knife. Did no one like her at all? She was a loner, but by choice. Were people just as aversive to her as she was to them?

Sarah walked out of the library and headed toward her locker. On her way there. she bumped into that Alex guy. She hadn't seen him standing there.

"Sorry..." she mumbled. "Wasn't looking where I was going."
