Looks like it'll be fun. I'm thinking about jumping into this one. I'm curious about an idea I wanted to try. Lemme know if there's any problems with my template.

Telekinesis: Can move objects with his mind and either use them as weapons or move them in the environment. Generally used as a distraction or stealth technique, he rarely uses it in combat unless he has to.
Electric Manipulation: Can generate electric current from himself, whether it be as a straight bolt for sharp shooting or in a mass quantity much like a machine gun or cannon. Can also emanate an electric field around him to EMP things.
Other Notes: He cannot use both powers at once. His electric manipulation does not stop him from being hurt by electricity. If he were to use it in water it would hurt him as well as others. Generally he uses telekinesis for more stealth or escape. His electricity is his more combat power. Also tends to carry a knife on him.

Bio:​ Will began his life very simply. Grew up as a very secluded teen with a mind that was sharp on details. He was always very pinpoint and would constantly be interested in odd and different things. Always having a keen niche for research and knowing his way around he tended to stay very close to himself, graduating with average grades and becoming completely invisible in a social sense. When the blast happened he was walking by and had been hit, the power plant nearby shooting electricity into him. From the combination of the blast and the electricity two powers manifested, telekinesis and electric manipulation. His natural talent as a very keen observer and tending to notice the finer details made him a valuable asset to the spades, along with his powers. He was picked up by the leader and is now considered to be one of the spade's best, since he generally can move unseen by most or can fight his way out of a predicament since he has gained a good handle on his powers. He now works closely with the Spade's leader as a specialist, sent out for high value targets or to pick up high priority ability users.

Name: Jordan Wyler

Nickname: "The Leech"

Power: Jordan has the ability to absorb the powers of others after prolonged physical contact (between 10-25 seconds). During this contact, even if he is unable to drain any powers, Jordan is able to, uncontrollably, poke around the victims mind, learning almost everything about them in terms of personality and history. Currently, his powers include:

Fire manipulation, which includes producing fire at will out of anything and the ability to morph his body into a cloud of smoke.
Super speed, his speed now increasing significantly, but nothing too superhuman.
Earth manipulation, meaning he has control over rocks, the concrete, and other minerals. When Jordan is around any of said minerals, he can shoot a stream of these at his opponents and can even cover his body to act as armor around him.

Bio: Before the blast, Jordan was an average teenager who, on a regular basis, would casually find himself in trouble. Whether it was petty vandalism or loitering, Jordan would make sure to find his way into trouble. Jordan was adopted when he was just 2 years old, and has been bouncing from house to house ever since, ending up just moving in and living with a friend at age 13, after their parents agreed to take Jordan in.

A hothead, Jordan was, and still is, quick to pick a fight or to start an arguement with someone, should he even have the slightest reason too. Above all things, however, Jordan would do anything for his friends. Although his sense of morals were often strained and walked a thin line between right and wrong, if he believed it was beneficial to him and his loved ones, there would be little to sway his mind.

What happened the night of the blast is all a blur to Jordan, but the events following are not. After waking up in the rubble of the blast and the party, Jordan wandered around the wreckage in confusion. It didn't take long for him to be spotted by some man tattoos all over his body to see Jordan, and tackle him onto the ground, shouting something about "Defiance." Jordan tried defending himself by grabbing the man's arms to keep him away, but ended up getting more than he had bargained for. After feeling a surge of heat sweep his body, Jordan ended up exuding a large blast of fire, disintegrating the man in an instant.

After days of hiding, Jordan was ambushed by a group of Spades that were under the assumption that he was a member of the Defiance. After accidentally absorbing one of the members powers, he was detained. Since then, he has been kept locked up in a room made out of graphite and rock underneath the Spades hideout, in fear of what he could do, should he decide to join the Defiance.

Power: Power of the Mind: Due to her already true natural intelligence and brilliant brain, Theia/Sherlock was only natural when exposed to the gas at the party that only her mind powers increase. Upon her powers come to her mind truly is a wonder. She can do the following...
-Telepathy: The power to speak to other with the mind no matter how far apart they may be
-Mind Reader: From those who broadcast their thoughts "aloud" she can intercept them, she also uses it for response back from her telepathy
-Mind Pick Lock: Within the mind are memories, with the permission of the person she can open up their memories to see them
-Sight: She's able to see everything and paste together an image of what has happened
-Precognition: She can't see far into the future, but she can predict the future based off of the mind waves of what's around her, so if there's a bomb about to explode, she can sense it, however she must be open to it
-Telekinesis: though it's quite a drain on her powers after a while, she can perform telekinesis, and it's telekinesis beyond your basic moving object, she can actually manipulate a force, create a force such as punching somebody in the face
-Mind Control: Only for weaker minded beings (such as animals), she can get into their mind and control them.
-Super Intelligence: Already she was super intelligent but her intelligence has only increased some more.
-Mental Energy Connection: Theia has the ability to connect to other MORPH beings through different methods. In doing so she gains some of their powers and they gain low level of her own powers. Current connections include:
~Jay (Shadow Manipulation) - Theia has the ability to jump into shadows to hide as well as use shadows as portals. The weaker their connection is though, she is unable to pull it off.
~Rosalyn (Big Bad Wolf/ Werewolf): Through admitting feelings for one another and a marking ceremony, Theia awaken an inner wolf within herself who has strong lustful, love connection to Rosalyn. She has the ability to call for her inner wolf into combat turning into a half wolf half human. However, as a curse on the full moons she, like Rosalyn, is forced to become her wolf with a need for human feeding frenzy which unfortunately for her, the Big Bad Wolf encourages. Since she isn't a full transformation though, Theia has a little more control than Rosalyn's full transformation. As a wolf she has a strong connection and need to be with Rosalyn, the full moons are even worst.


Bio: Theia, daughter of an intelligence officer in the military (father *deceased*) and a scientist (mother *missing*), who has lived and travelled from all over the world, though when she was 15 years old. She was forced to settle in due to her father being killed on a mission and her mother also on that same mission disappearing. Based on her history and background and since settling in she's gained quite a... reputation. She was intelligent, far more intelligent than those around. She refuses to associate with those she finds annoying. It's how, besides her name being difficult to pronounce, she gained the nickname of Sherlock, which she doesn't mind, she likes Sherlock Holmes, the stories, but though some times she brags saying she's even smarter than him which then she would prove with her own skills of deduction.

Theia, or Sherlock, graduated high school and was offered full scholarships to attend all the top ivy league schools in the country (though she didn't need it thanks to her parents military background, but due to finding them boring she has decided against attending and instead has stuck around at home where she has joined a group of a street crew and some students of the local college which they went by the name of Spade.

That faithful day in which the accident occurred where the birth of "super powers" occurred and everybody morphed into totally different beings with the powers, Sherlock and her gang decided to go and crash the party. They went and of course Sherlock was her typical self, sitting back watching the party goers, bored and find her mind being wasted. It was her who probably first noticed the event that occurred at that party, what she noticed was the smell, the vapor in the air. It was something she couldn't place then it all occurred.

She and the rest of the Spades escaped the accident and it was the next day when she and the other awoke they realized what had happened. The gang, those mostly from poor families, some like Sherlock who were without families due to accidents, immediately knew the powers could be used for good but as they discovered first, it could be used for evil. It was then there they realized they needed to do something so the Spades became something bigger, a force of good that would fight the group killing off innocent normal human beings.

Power: Nightmares
Jay has domain in the realm of nightmares and dreams. On normal people he can inflict pain in their head as a realistic dream plays out around them in the form of a terrible nightmare. The power causes more of an extreme mental pain. It can be so severe to put somebody in a coma, perhaps kill them brain dead, or it can be weaker.
Minor mental abilities able to levitate and telepathy, but it's pretty low level.
Jay has always been the fighter of the gang and so he specializes as the warrior of sort.

Bio: Jay used to be a fantastic kid growing up, he lived alone with his mother and life was great but come sixth grade when his mother passed away custody was granted to his living father who lived out in California. Jay's life went down hill then because unknown to the court systems and how Jay even came to be, his father was part of the gang life.

Jay was trained by his father to also go into that gang life. It was something he didn't want to do and didn't like so he was thankful to still have school. It was made even better when he met Theia. He was given the task of showing her around. It didn't take Theia long for her to deduce him and tell his entire life story based off of things about him. Instead of angry, he was intrigued and he was the first to call her Sherlock.

Come junior year, much against what Sherlock wanted, the two did begin to go out. It was then he introduced her to a bit of the gang life, though she didn't agree with it. It was through Jay, Sherlock also met the rest of the gang of Defiant Spade. The two continued to go out for the next 2 1/2 years, well after she graduated from high school and he dropped out (after learning he'd have to repeat his senior year). The two continued to go out still a few months prior to the incident at the party. They were slowly growing a part when she tried to stop some of the worst gang activities such as killing off other gangs, something he was particularly trained to do. They both worked alongside each other in the gang. Sherlock still continued to make the gang "good" whereas Jay slowly felt himself falling in that trap. He still loved her and at when the gangs split due to being friends with Aaron, he left and joined the Defiant.

When both the gangs went and crashed a party it was his plan to try and hook back up with Sherlock. However then somethings occurred. After the party when he discovered his powers, he wasn't the same at all. He was angry and mad. He's felt fueled to try and get Sherlock back.

Well I know Darius, Will, Jordan, and Kevin are under the Spade base, so I dunno if they'd hear it. He's prolly going to send troops soon.

 

Vox, I'm sending my characters after it, however, the "soldiers" you mentioned in your first post I assumed and played off of them being soldiers of government, not the Defiance.

Further, I don't know with the guy with the tech. device was meant to be the person being interviewed, but that person being interviewed is block and blocks away.

 

When I said compassionate, it's the difference between slaughtering innocents and not. It's the line that the spades and defiance seem to have separating them
