It might be a stupid question in regard to little details but I can't leave it alone: why is Mickey's clothes all black and grey in this game? Is it just to visually indicate that he isn't King yet? :/

He's still King of Disney Castle.
He's just an apprentice under Yen Sid.

That kinda didn't answer my question -_- the question was not whether or not he has yet been the king of Disney Castle, the question was why his clothes have lost all their colours!? Read the topic!

Your question kind of made it seem like you were asking if he wasn't king yet, so I can see Angel's mistake. Anyway, there is really no answer to it. Yet, i'm going to give the answer that makes sense. Mickey's out fit in BBS is exactly the same/ or almost the same as his outfit in KH2, only lacking the colors. The reason why I believe they did this, is because the story is DARKER, so they gave Mickey this outfit to fit the feel and setting of the story. They did the same with Sora's outfit in KH2.

Well, you did ask "Is it just to visually indicate that he isn't King yet?"

Yeah. I believe the grey scale of Mickey's outfit has to do with emotions, moods, and feeling. Kinda like the unversed in a way!

Yeah that was a retorical question, not the main question.

God you guys are fast at closing threads.... do you even give people a chance to discuss the subjects? I went to the Kingdom Hearts - Re:Chain of Memories section because I wanted to discuss the game with people, but everything was closed!?

Hm... :D Maybe because they got lazy and decide to change the color palette. Meh. I did not find anything wrong with it. He still had some good fashion sense.
