Super Smash Brawl has been known to players as one of the best game to be a part of the Super Smash series and to be "one of the very best games ever to be produced". Known to be one of the best and fastest sellers, hitting number one on the sale charts, having a dominant power to say fun and active, and to be "finely tuned". However, is Brawl better than Melee? One from IGN says that it suffers from "Long loading time and uninteresting enemies" while another from Gameworld Network says that it lacks "stat tracking and a lag free environment". One person a couple of weeks ago stated and was wondering about the future installments of the Super Smash series and brought the attention about whether the competitive between Brawl and Melee is significant. The author of the article is more worry as to whether the next series will become less competitive. there are a few that the author had informed about the techniques that were in Melee that made the series more challenging had been removed from Brawl, Wave Dashing and L cancelling.

Another issue that is known is that the characters are unbalanced. Brawl is more focus on picking character counters than Melee and that MetaKnight is too overpowered that he is immediately ban from tournaments on the Smash Bros. community. Another problem is tripping even if your attack has a trip rate of 0%, coming back to the stage easier than it is in Melee and that all characters fall at a more similar rate.

The biggest issue is King Dedede's most famous chain grab to the wall, which only ban some stages in competitive play when it comes to King Dedede. If you do not believe this, then do believe the quotes from the creator of the Super Smash Bros. series, Masahiro Sakurai.

One of Super Smash Bros best player, Mew2King, also has something to say about the game.

So, what are your thoughts on this?

In all honesty, I am quite upset as to how they change Zelda even though her attacks got stronger. They make her transformation longer, which can be predictable and allow someone to just stand there and to throw a Smash attack on me. They also made her aerials weaker on her non-sweetspotted attacks. Not only that, I love Zelda for her hitstun ability and since they have significantly decrease the power of hitstun, I have to end up going defense most of the time and this make all true combos almost extinct. There were some changes that I was ok with but then there were some where I am saying to myself, "Ok. Now I will just have to end up using Peach some more."

Link, Mario, Samus, Kirby, and Pickachu are still my best, I hate how dumbed down brawl is but i still love it. Grapichs were hard core, the story line was pretty fun, the big air ship battle was crazy cool, and playin with sonic is just way past cool!(Gotta love the comics) I hate how they made Marth weaker but i love how they increased Pikachus power and the other pokemon. Mario and Lugi were still good simple fighters for anyone but they made Link slower, unless you had toon link. I just hope the next one is more like Melee but has Brawl also. More people to fight with, another fun story line, maybe have an open world mode?? And harder special stages~

See, it was ok when the company had Brawl more suited for Adventure mode but since Adventure mode allows more than 1 player mode, this is just a little bit more screwy. Most of us would rather want to fight each other and to compete. Mario himself has suffered from Brawl such as the removal of his Mario tornado and they gave him less options. AND THEY WENT AND COMPLETELY NERFED MY BELOVED JIGGLYPUFF! Why in the world would you do that?! You made her Rest attack weaker, and then you make it harder for her to use the effectiveness of hitstun and to combo. There are some nerfs that were not meant to be.
