Lols, Gotham City & More

As usual, I can hardly ever see too much through to completition without thinking of something else to distract me along the way. I've had a few thoughts on RPs that might be able to turn into pretty epic undertakings, if they got the clout they needed to do so. So, without further delay, I present just a few of my thoughts for an RP project, which will hopefully be able to take firmer root later in August.

1) Lol Roleplays

Hopefully everyone will understand what 'Lol' means. If you don't, then that's just too bad, and you should probably look it up. Anyways, this more of a blanket idea that I've had that could be applied to almost anything, either original, or canon. The essential concept is a parody roleplay; we, the RPers, would enter unto a world of noteworthiness, and totally rip its foundations out and mess around the mechanics of it all. Want to do something ridiculous, and possibly questionable? Then this is the sort of RP for you. It should all be kept with as much humor as possible, with some 'dramatic relief' thrown in to keep it from getting too lackadaisical. Will be open to further discussion in regards to canon vs. original, and its genre. ​

2) Gotham Streets

Honestly, one of my earlier thoughts, though one that I was never able to fully bring together. This is an idea meant to be a continuation of Batman Begins, and The Dark Knight. Batman has been eluding the Gotham PD for several months now, and things in Gotham have begun to shake up pretty violently. The fall of Harvey Dents has taken its toll, as criminals retake the streets. More so, it turns out that The Joker may have been something of an Alpha Male that kept the other menacing figures at bay; his defeat at the hands of Batman has sparked further surges, with multiple deadly villains vying for his crown as the ruler of Gotham's criminal Underground.

With the Police Department split between maintaining the peace, and hunting down Batman as ordered, the law enforcement of Gotham City has essentially spread itself dangerously thin. The people of the city have taken notice of this, and some have even begun to take action... actually, many have begun to take action. All over the city, reports shoot from person to person of mysterious figures lurking the underground, taking down what crime they can with whatever they have their disposal. Recent arrests of these vigilantes have shown that their demographic is primarily of youths between ages 18 and 22; impressionable teens and young men and women, inspired by Batman's selfless endeavors taking a stand for him. They do this both to help The Dark Knight, and to protest his status as a labeled criminal.​

3) Crumbling Empire - Seeds of Rebellion

Another idea that can be taken as several genres and whatnot. It is primarily inspired by Romance of The Three Kingdoms (more so, the era in which it takes place). A once mighty empire has given way, as scandals by government officials leave it's power as questionable. The Emperor has struggled to keep things together, but has ultimately failed, having lead to a corrupt board of officials running the show. As conditions within the empire worsen, a radical 'savior of the people' rises from the troubled times, and declares a rebellion against the remains of the imperial establishment, in the hopes of forging his own new nation. The empire swiftly dispatches its armies to combat the rebels, who have popped up in numerous areas throughout enemy territories. This RP can be set as a fantasy, a realistic modern day, or even a scifi RP, depending on what tickles peoples' fancy. ​
