Did any one of you ever heard of the Kony 2012 campaign and the Invisible Child Organization? Well, once you watch this video, we can start the debate but this is what I want to know: is this acceptable and is this allowed so that we can help strengthen good relations with other countries? Also, is it remarkable to think about the children in other countries and to take down not only Joseph Kony but also any other worst world lord leaders? Is this a fake? Should we care or not care?

You do realize that Joseph Kony is quite literally dead, right?

I support it, but not just Kony being taken down. All across Africa there are rebel forces kidnapping children doing the samething Kony is, they too are also unknown.

I support stopping all rebel forces in Africa. If that means Kony is first, fine by me, I just hope to see the other countries of Africa get aid as well. And it doesn't just need to be the U.S. infact, I think the whole United Nations should get involve in this. After all isn't the United Nations stated purpose to make peace?

    IC?

Ok. This is a problem that I have. Ever since the video has popped up, there has been a lot of supporters but at the same time, there are so many people who dislike this and a lot of those people CLAIM that he is dead. -__- I have looked EVERYWHERE for that piece of information and THERE IS NOTHIGN SAYING THAT HE IS DEAD! -_- I do believe that it is possible that he has not been heard for 6 years but even so, there is no information that he has died so I do believe that is one big lie. there is a whole lot of controversies and the youtube comments on that video continues to fill up with spam and more spam... >_> And I strongly dislike the lethargic mind and unknowledgeable people on youtube.

Joseph Kony is not dead. He is one of the top wanted criminals in the world and no true facts saying he is dead have turned up.

Kony hasnt been seen since 07ish. hasnt been a problem since 04.

They spend less then 30 percent of donations on what they claim and the rest on salaries. And that is just what is on records.

Its a scam. Caring is now a trend and a business.

Osama bin Laden went into hiding in 2001 and was never seen until they searched for him and finally found him 10 years later in 2011.

Granted Kony has not bombed the U.S., flew planes into a building, nor killed millions of Americans(and other war soldiers from other countries such as Canada, Great Britain, etc.)

Kony is the samething. He's pratically a terrorist in his own country(as are several other war lords of Africa). Would it really take Kony to attack us to search for him? Because his country are trying to find him and surviving relatives of his children soldiers wait to see him shot just as relatives of victims of 9/11 waited to see Bin Laden shot.

    Pretty bad news.

He's gonna be one of the worst world-wanted.
Why just spread something that makes everyone evil and bad turn?

Losing people are false. Well I know we're many, but if the important people to us, their family, the country and/or the Earth didn't lasted long, it would be bad news to us.

We were actually talking about Joseph Kony in Political Science this week. They really are making him famous.

They're purpose is to make peace, only it seems to be that the fine print states that it has to benefit them as well. The United Nations doesn't help others unless they can get a profit of some sort out of it; That seems to be how the world functions these days.

However, this is apparently the first time that the US got involved with something that didn't have any direct benefits towards them. By helping out Uganda (more or less Africa now since I guess Kony is on the move), the States isn't getting any economic relief or they're not being threatened by anyone, so good for them. It's always great to be decent and to expect no real rewards for it. I like one of the messages of the Kony 2012 video : Why should where you're born determine whether you should die ? So true.

I figured that if Kony was really dead, there would be the no point to this whole "Make him famous" movement. I highly doubt that the 20 culture makers would support a scam.

I completely agree with this. Kony is a terrorist in Africa and it's a shame to hear about all of the things that he's doing to poor children in Africa. What little boy deserves to be a child soldier, I mean, they even have to shoot their own parents ? Not to mention that the little girls become sex slaves. Talk about gross and a violation against women rights. Joseph Kony should be stopped because people like him don't deserve to get away with what they're doing. And sure, the people in charge of Invisible Children are getting a lot of money out of this, but the cause that they're fighting for is still nonetheless important.

I support the Kony 2012 movement and hopefully they catch him before the end of this year. There's, frankly, several terrible people in Africa doing similar things as Kony and all of them should be stopped.
