Kingdom Hearts: For All That is Lost
    A New Organization Role Play

    ~I. Nothing Gathers~

Centuries have passed since the Legendary conflict between Sora and Organization XIII. The Legend itself has fallen into obscurity amongst the contemporary populace, held onto as tales within select, high-society of affluent worlds central to the Realm of Light.

This couldn’t have happened under any worse of a circumstance.

While the worlds were put at peace and Light and Dark set into balance by Sora’s exploits, the effect was only a temporary reprieve. Once more, Darkness began to spread into the Realm of Light. Two years ago this emergence hit its stride, taking its first world in hundreds of years. Heartless spread from there, breaking into the Realm of Light, setting into motion the rekindling of a forgotten past.

From the new flames of destruction rose a resounding echo from the past. With the Heartless swallowing worlds on the edge of the Light, many lost their Hearts to the Darkness. Those who remained strong enough to live on without their Hearts, almost instinctually drawn to each other, came together to form a new collective of Nobodies. Lead by one so strong as Xemnas and enigmatic as the Legends themselves, they call themselves Ex Nihilo.

Upon their recent discovery of the forgotten ruins of Castle Oblivion, these Nobodies are soon to begin rediscovering the old lore as historical fact. The worlds may very well be set to see history repeat itself.

    GM’s Note(s)
This role play is a redo of the New Organization RPs that have come and gone somewhat frequently on this site in the past. It will be a largely freeform RP, in which the plot beyond the above summary of the situation will be created largely by the actions of our characters. It is my hope that this will be an overall collaborative effort, in which the members of the RP will actively come up with and present ideas to one another in this OOC. I indent for this RP to run as a series of RPs.

The general goal for the first segment of this role play will be to serve as an introductory piece. Ex Nihilo will gather at Castle Oblivion in preparation for their eventual move in after dealing with some familiar pests that have occupied it. During this time they will uncover some small pieces of knowledge regarding the castle’s previous occupants, and acquire some useful items. .

    Role Play Rules & Expectations
    1. No one should be caught power playing or godmoding unless arrangements for them to do so have been approved and confirmed by the party being affected.
    2. The general expectation for content (language, violence and romance) should be kept at a PG-13 rating. Anything that stands to exceed that should be dealt with via PMs.
    3. Everyone is encouraged to come up with subplots for their character. But everyone should also keep the overall story of the role play in mind and ensure that their plot doesn’t derail everything else.
    4. I expect at least an equivalent to one paragraph per post in-character.
    5. Everyone should try to just have fun with this.

    Other Notes
The sign-ups for this segment of the RP will be open for two weeks, after which point, for the sake of plot management, no new character will be admitted. However, once the first segment is completed, sign-ups will always be open.

    ~The Character Sheet~

Name: Somebody Name | Alias (Anagram of original name with an “x” inserted; our character will decide on their aliases shortly following the start of the RP)
Age:(Biological age | Amount of time as a Nobody)
    Gender: (Male or Female)
Rank: (A number assigned to the member based on the order in which they joined; they have no inherent bearing on actual authority, save for the Rank I, who will hold rights to deciding the chain of command. Rank will be ascribed to the characters based on the order in which their sheets are posted/finalized. The exception to this will be Rank I, which will have to be auditioned for. All members should be affiliated with the group to start off).
Custom Title: (The title that your character will adopt).

Elemental Affinity: (Nobodies seem to align with a particular elemental force. You may have multiple elements, so long as they’re interrelated somehow; for example, being aligned to water AND ice would be acceptable. Let's try not to have doubles of elements right off the bat).
Elemental Abilities: (A concise list of abilities based on your elemental affinity. They should be at a low or moderate strength to start out with).
Weapon: (A unique weapon belonging exclusively to your character. It is somehow related to the nature of your element).

Biography: (At least a paragraph explaining the character’s past and the events that lead up to their eventually joining the group).

    ~Cast Roster~

    Ex Nihilo
Rank 1 - Name - Title - Element - (Open for audition; if interested, post your sheet with samples of your RPing).
Rank II - Zimea/Ixemza - The Voltaic Vixen - Wayward

    Name: Zimea | Ixemza
    Age: 20 | 1.5 Years as a Nobody
    Gender:Female
    Rank: II

    Elemental Affinity: Electricity-Magnetism
    Elemental Abilities:
    • Thunder Spells – A line up of spells that draws lightning as its basic component. The Thunder spell is commonly channeled by way of casting bolts down from the air above a target. Being, however, specialized to such spells Ixemza is able to cast them in unconventional forms, such as condensing the multitude of bolts rained down into a single, powerful bolt and releasing lightning-based projectiles from her body. Speaking of her body, it in itself bears a potent, resonant electrical aura, which allows for quicker, albeit less powerful, applications of Thunder spells to be applied. She is currently capable of channeling these such spells up to their second-grade.
    • Electrical Resistance & Absorption – As being imbued by the power of electricity, Ixemza bears high level of resistance to the plethora of electrically based assaults and aftereffects, whether they are the result of natural phenomenon, magical partitioning or technology. Innately most effects simply strike Ixemza without harm, the bulk of their power nullified by a surrounding electrical field. Ixemza is able to, on an active whim, absorb low to moderately powered electrical attacks to amplify her own power without backlash; at some expense, she can absorb more powerful assaults.
    • Magnet Spell – Working in tow with her ability to utilize electricity, Ixemza is gifted just as well with the manipulation of magnetism. Her basic applications come in the form of the Magnet Spell, which is used to manipulate magnetic fields to attract and repel both objects and beings. The use of these spells is most effective on non-living, non-sentient targets that cannot offer resistance against its forces. Thus it is often used as a disarming technique against opponents. However, more powerful variations of the spell can more easily pull and push opponents. Ixemza can utter a much more refined control over these spells, however, using them to suspend her targets in midair if she so pleases and move them more intricately; though this often gets difficult with resistant targets. Her control of this spell on herself enables her flight and levitation abilities.

Weaponry: Cuim Machina (Machina Soul) – Spurred by the corrupted influence of the elements of Darkness, Zimea’s father’s most prized technological experiment has infused itself with the new Nobody. Cuim Machina is the ultimate goal of the scientist: mechanical entities with biological capabilities of relative sentience and a manner of self-reproduction. Ixemza plays the role of host and master to an ocean of microscopic mutant machines not unlike the popularized images of nano-robots.

The machines are essentially part of Ixemza’s bio-mechanical makeup, no less hers than her own arms and legs, and thus remain, undisturbed, under her complete control alone. However at the same time, they bear some level of autonomy in following her instructions and are able to think critically about a situation and act based analysis and their own judgment, so long as their goal is accomplished in the end. Through molecular duplication means, the machines are able to reproduce and amass their numbers without the actual construction of new ones by a benefactor. While Ixemza typically allows them free reign over their reproduction, she can force them to do so at any time she sees fit. They are also capable of self-maintenance.

Trillions of these machines have taken root within the Nobody’s body. Internally, these machines work towards the maintenance of Ixemza’s body and mind quickly and efficiently repairing injuries and adverse effects. They act simply as assistants to Ixemza’s natural immune systems and bulk her mental resistances. The machines can be released from their bodily home, and utilized externally, often acting as forces of reconnaissance, unseen and nigh undetectable for their small size and singularly low output of noticeable energy.

It is also through these machines that Ixemza is endowed with her tangible weaponry. When released from her body, the machines merge and meld with each other and mold in accordance to her instruction, multiplying when necessary to form into common weapons such as swords, staffs and the like; it is also possible for Ixemza to craft armor out of the machines. Each individual having its own energy shielding as a line of defense, the weapons that compile are highly resistance against the vastness of assaults that might be done against it. The energy field can also be used to an offensive effect, as its emission can be used to disrupt the bonds of matter, enabling Ixemza’s weapons to cut through virtually any solid that isn’t protected by its own energy field.

Biography: Born and raised on a world called Bikanel, Zimea was the only daughter of a single father, Zimac, one of the world's many established inventors. Through most of her early life she spent time assisting her father's creation and pioneering in the mechanical creations known as "Machina," which the world relied on for infrastructure and defense. It was a relatively enjoyable life compared to what others frequently went through. However, over the years, she became a dissenting host to many of her father's more ambitious experiments, which left her with several robotic and bio-mechanical attachments and implants.

When the Heartless arrived on Bikanel about two years ago, her father's research focused on them. For months he held himself in his lab in seclusion, tinkering with something that he thought would unravel the mysterious creatures. Months later, after nearly starving himself to death, Zimac burst out of the lab victoriously and Zimea once again found herself as part of her father's experiment. With the intent of using her as a means of accessing a door that had appeared in his lab, he tied her down, shooting a focused beam of the Dark material of which the Heartless were composed through her chest and into the door.

In this process, the door did in fact open at the beckoning of Zimea's dark grudges against Zimac. But the experiment also caused the "Dark Laser" to short out and explode, breaking Zimea from her shackles. The Heartless flooded from the door, covering Bikanel. Zimac's lab was the first to go, with Zimea's Heart being lost to the Darkness, and the scientist himself left to an uncertain fate. Zimea went on to live in isolation for some time before she was found by a stranger, who explained the nature of her new condition, that they suffered a similar fate and offered for her to join them in finding others like them...
