Invalid File Bug?

    Hello guys, when I uploaded a custom avatar, it always say Invalid File, every picture I tried to find out, all of them-still not working and keeps saying Invalid File. Please help! I really need the answer for so now.. Here's the information of the picture I always wanted to upload:
    Name: 1.jpg
    Type of file: ACDSee6 JPEG Image
    Size of picture: 100 x 100 (Width: 100 Height: 100)
    Size: 5.97 KB (6,116 bytes)
    Size on disk: 8.00 KB (8,192 bytes)

    maybe you just keep finding corrupted files. what site are you getting the pics?

    1. Even though you have the link, the site that had the link may have been gone, the code has been inputted incorrectly, or that it is banned.
    2. Make sure that the size is appropriate.
    3. If it is still not working, why not just save it to your computer and then upload it from your computer.

    Actually, I'm getting the same error with all the pictures I'm trying to put as avatars. Tried different formats, hosting sites, pictures work 100% but still getting the invalid file error.

    I'm not sure why this is happening. Are other people having trouble uploading avatars?

    If you want to send me a visitor message or PM with the url to the image you wish to use, I can try to upload it manually and see if that works.

    Meh. It's normal to me. It's just the site that own the pictures that may have became an invalid file. You might just have to do Option Two instead of Option 1, which is to "Upload pictures from your computer". If that do not work, then just find a different picture.

    The problem is that even if you try uploading them from your computer or from url, neither one works.

    I was unable to change VanitasXVentus' avatar, so I've sent a message to TradeDemon to see if he can take a look. When there is more information, I will update this thread. Until then...

    Double posting to inform everyone that the problem should be fixed. I was able to upload avatars, anyhow. Let me know if you do still have trouble, though.
