Hopscotch (OOC + SU)

Camp Hopscotch got its name because of the childrens game, Hopscotch because the game is one that requires focus for those who are just learning balance. It requires balance and concentration for someone who is learning to use their attention and energy on one thing and it also is a game of learning to get from point A to point B without falling down and even if you do fall down you go back and try again until you get all the way to the other side. When it was named it was for that reason that they named it as such because Camp Hopscotch is for people who have that exact problem. It is for teens who have for some reason 'fallen' and are having trouble getting back up and trying the game of life once more. It's a summer camp where these teens learn that whatever trials you face in life, its important that you know that you have to get back up and move on in life. It is not nessesarily for depressed teenagers in fact its for everyone between the ages 16-18.
But this isnt nessesarily a story about the camp itself. It's more about a couple of teens who attended this camp for each their own reason. This group of teens dont get along with eachother at all not since day one of camp! And so as a cinsiquence for their constant arguing the group got stuck sharing a cabbin (well two cabbins of course it's inapropriate to make boys share a cabbin with girls) but the two cabbins are on the far edge of camp and they are right next to eachother. Each morning two people from the group of arguers are tied together at the wrist and they have to rely on eachother to not stumble, fall, or run into things. It is a lesson that the camp directors would be teaching this group for two weeks. They could have easily sent the group home but at Camp Hopscotch 'we dont give up because we care about you'. So yeah, all of the teens from this small group were tied to someone else by the wrist on the exact day that the camp decided to go on a hike. The Camp leaders considered untying the group from eachother in order to hike but then they shrugged it off in spite of the protests from the teens. They assured the three groups kindly that they would only have to put up with it for one more day and then they could all go their seperate ways back to their own cabbins and not have to talk to eachother again.
And so the camp began their hike, with six students tied together in pairs of two.
But the leaders didnt expect what happened next. A series of events that happened to the group that was tied together including arguments, loss of property, and falling farther and farther behind, to one teen accidently tripping and causing the person tied to them to also fall and the two behind them to trip and the last group to fall because they were startled caused all three the groups tied together to fall down the side of the hill, into the river a short distance below, and eventually were able to swim back to the edge of the river. But by the time all of them were able to get back onto dry land and could breathe normally again none of them knew where they were. So now the six are lost in the hills with people they do not like, have no way to know how to get home, are each tied to someone they dislike with a passion, and have absolutely nothing to defend themselves with! Now they have to rely on eachother to survive the woods and maybe find their way back to sivilization.

There are Six characters needed. The Six are devided kind of into groups of two because each of them are tied to someone else. They will eventually figure out to get free from that but to begin with and for a little ways in they still are. We could do this in one of two ways. First off you could just volunteer to be in what group or I could just draw names out of a hat lol I guess we could vote on that.

Angel has always been a very quiet kid. When she was a child a lot of people except for her parents and close friends thought she was incapable of speach and that is because she was. She had a disorder in her early childhood that destroyed her voice and made it impossible for her to form words clearly or hear them well either. The only thing she really could hear or create was tone and sound. She was able to understand music if not the lyrics and so she had a very early interest in music, having much interest playing the piano and humming to herself because that was something she could create and understand. Eventually with some speach therapy and things like that cost her parents a small fortune. She can now communicate just like any other regular teen though she sometimes has trouble speaking clearly when shes angry, sad, or tired and sometimes when people are speaking to her and she isn't paying attention she can accidently tune them out and not really understand that they are talking to her until she is brought back to attention by someone touching her or saying her name specifically. She is extremely shy and it isn't easy for her to speak out to others because alot of the time she just doesnt know what to say and the other half the time it's because she spends too much time thinking and daydreaming or thinking up a song in her mind. Angel is very smart and has always been a good student in school and she is almost addicted to music, its one of the only things that has stuck with her since childhood.
She enrolled herself into a summer camp called Hopscotch because she hoped to meet new friends that didn't know about her issues in childhood, its a way for her to start out fresh.

Personality:
She is a little naive and is always curious though she doesn't always mean any harm she usually pokes herself into situations she shouldn't be in and therefore gets into trouble too often. She is very shy and independant most of the time. She is pretty easygoing most of the time but she is very caring of those she does eventually consider her friend.
