I'm just curious to see what the opinion of various members of the forum are, and why they think homosexuality is wrong/right.

The term "Gay" is used for both genders.
If I say "I have gay friends", it does not necessarily mean they are all dudes.
Truth be told, if I say that it's actually true and half of them are girls. They're actually a friendly bunch and really, they're just people no different from us.

SB, why aren't you comfortable with this subject. Unless your suppressing your own homosexuality you shouldn't have a problem discussing others.

Personally im pro-homo. There often very nice people, no different from us. After all love is love.

I'm not gay. Never was a homo, gaysist, or a bi. ILt's what I had seen or heard about people at the high school who are gay or what would happen to gay people. That's all.

I'm pro gay. Its just love. Unorthodox love, but love nonetheless. But there is another thread like this debating gay rights. I think this stuff should go in there.

I hate it when people say that they are a homophobic or anything like that. That they hate gays or hate the idea of homosexuality. In my opinion, to people who say things like that are afraid that they too are gay and that they are trying to hide it.

:( Plz don't think that I'm like that Yukou. I respect pple's decision if they wanted to be gay. I don't hate gays, but I still pray for them & don't treat them bad. That's teh life of a christian. I know that I'm not gay or anything like that & I will still lend a hand to those who needs help, even those who are gay.

I'm a christian, and i think someone made an error in the bible regarding that point.

Wait... which part of the point do you mean?

There is no errors in the bible. THose are God's words & there is nothing in there where he lies. Also, I find homosex wrong because it can spread diseases & harm others.

I didn't say that you where gay. I mean in general. When people are ask why they hate gays, their answer usually are that they are homophobic. Well, that is not a good enough answer.

And another thing on what you said. You said that being gay spreads disease and harm others, well new flash, so does straight people. ANY body can give people AIDS or any other STD. ANY body can harm others.

You might want to be careful with the wording next time, just saying.

    . . . . . . Tell that to King James (The errors thing).

And, like Yukou says, anyone can spread STD's.

Let me explain this. The bible was originally written in Hebrew. It was translated from that language into english, japanese, and the other languages of our current world. In that translation, it could be that some information was lost or misread. Also since it is a document that has been around for so long, it could be that someone decided that something wasn't what they believed as right and messed with it.

WRONG!!! They are not the only ones that spread disease. In fact, it could be said that they are less likely to spread disease as there is no penetration of anything that takes in stuff. Unless your referring to the blow job but your liver and gastric gasses can mess that up to. It is more likely for hetero sexual people to spread STD's.
Also, show me the statistics were they commit acts of Rape or Sexual assault more often that straight people. I think the straight people stats are higher. In fact, heres the info to back it up:
    Rape Statistics

The adult pregnancy rate associated with rape is estimated to be 4.7%. This information, in conjunction with estimates based on the U.S. Census, suggest that there may be 32,101 annual rape-related pregnancies among American women over the age of 18.17

I also found that rape victims are more often Lesbians than they are straight people. What does that say?

And let us not forget King James, who edited the bible so he could get another marriage annuled (I believe).
