Heartless Unbound!

OOC: hope you don't mind me using the guy in your post above for a flashback sort of thing

A young girl sat up on the roof of a house looking up at the night sky. She laid there thinking about everything that has happened, it's been nearly a week and she still couldn't believe it. She sighed and sat up looking out over Radiant Garden. She extended her right arm and opened her right hand and in a flash of light a keyblade appeared. She gripped the handle and had it resting on her lap.

"It's a funny thing isn't it..." She said quitely to herself. She remembered all the details so very well.


"Dad!" The young girl yelled as her mother had her arms wrapped around her watching her poor defenseless father try hard to defend his family and more importanly from himself from such dark creature. The bright yellow eyes that the girl would have nightmares about for years to come. Suddenly she felt her mother be pulled away from her. The girl fell to the ground and crawled to the corner of the room looking at the man who grabbed her mother.

"Hikaru run!" her mother yelled. The young girl couldn't move at all. She looked over at her father and saw him passed out on the ground as he was being absorbed into a pool of darkness in the ground.

"Don't worry Hikaru, you'll be treated well in this family." The man stated as heartless surrounded the girl. "Meet your brothers and sisters." The man stated. The young girl crawled backwards and watched as her mother was attacked by the same creatures but like her father was absorbed into a pool of darkness.

The man began laughing before disappearing and his laugh was still heard. The young girl's bright blue eyes widened as she felt herself being pulled into a pool of darkness as well. She struggled to get out before the creatures jumped on her. She screamed her possibly last scream.

The girl was floating in complete darkness still struggling to kee the darkness crawling all over her body away. She looked up and could feel a warm light. The light approached her and the girl extended her right hand and took hold of the light.

The girl slowly began to wake up in her hand lied an odd sword, a key shape sword, a keyblade.


The girl sat there shivering from the very thoughs of everything.

"Hikaru run!" The girl could hear yelled over and over again in her head. 'run' Such a funny word.

Hikaru stood up keyblade in hand looking over the quite nestled city. So many feared the heartless, so many hid, and yet so many knew nothing of it's dark powers, the powers that could send a person into an eternal nightmare.

Hikaru knew her destiny though, a destiny of a keybearer, to protect the people from that eternal nightmare.

 

Sky looked up into the sky. It was a nice night. You could see every cloud in the sky. He sat there thinking, about life. About his dad. He didn't want to think about him, but it was all he ever thought about. He always wondered who he was. He was hoping he was a great man, who just couldn't be with him because he was busy. He held his hand out and his keyblade appeared. It seemed to be different from the few other keybearers in Radient Garden. It was darker. He held it to his head. He felt warmth. It was wiered. How could a keyblade that is so dark generate the warmth of light. He jumped from the building, withought even getting hurt of coarse. He he looked up and strted to walk towards his house.

Hikaru was shaken by the yells and sat up. Flashbacks of her parent's screams and her own she shook it away and looked out in the distance seeing the large darkness being on a roof. Hikaru quickly began running and jumping accross the roofs of the houses until she was closer and saw him, the person of her nightmares.

She couldn't be scared now, she refused herself to be scared now. She gripped the handle of her keyblade.

"Hey you shouldn't prey on the defenseless because they may just have a guardian angel close by." hikaru stated. She could feel herself trembling, she couldn't back down though, not from him, the man who made her life miserable and a living hell(iif you don't mind language).

 

Hikaru felt herself trembling. 'NO! Hikaru you are strong, you are chosen by the light to fight this darkness!' She screamed mentally to herself. She quickly dodged the attack rolling down the roof and grabbing hold of the edge of the roof before launching up keyblade in hand and landed on the roof. She ran forward towards him.

"I don't believe so... you might have gotten my parents, but you won't get me, in fact I will bring them back plus many of the other's you've taken." Hikaru screamed running at him keyblade in hand. 'Don't back down, don't back down, DON'T BACK DOWN!' She screamed mentally.

 

"I refuse to back down from the ugly creature such as yourself!" Hikaru yelled as she deflected the attack and slid back looking at the terrified teenagers.

"Run!" Hikaru yelled at them. They both got up quickly and ran off. Hikaru lifted herself up. 'Come on, morning already...' She pleaded to herself.

Hikaru looked at the dark heartless being. "You're wrong, darkness always has it's dawn..." Hikaru stated watching as the sun began to peak on the horizon.

 

Hikari stood glad to have helped the teens just in time and thankfully for the morning light, saving herself. She was glad of that and slid down laying on the roof sighing.

She won this time, but not always, she was weak and she needed to do something about it. She looked up at the sky and sat up her keyblade disappearing as she lept off the rood and walked down the street as if nothing happened though thinking about herself, her weakness and deepest darkest fear of darkness. She would need to come over it soon.

She turned down the street and started towards the crystal fissure, a place she alway went to relax.

 

Sky was running and slashing. A classic fight tactic. He didn't look back. He heared the roar. It was most definetly a Behomoth, and right near him was the guy he was looking for. Sin. Sin was the reason he was running right now. He was causing all his troubles. He didn't seem to know why but he started to think about his father more ever since he showed up. Sky ran to the side jumped into the air and began to run on the wall. The heartless were gaining on him he kneeled down quickly and catupulted himself onto the roof of the nearest building. The castle was in site. It was most definetly the place Sin would be. He hoped from building to building, until he was at the doorstep of the magnificent castle. He didn't want to go in though. The castle was like a maze, thousands have been lost and most definetly killed by going in there. Sin had to come out some day. So he took a seat and waited.

 

"You plan to sit there all day?" A voice echoed from Sky's left, "Mind some company?" Gryphon said, striding in with keyblade in hand. He sat down next to Sky and his keyblade disappeared. Gryphon was not normally one to trust people, but he had been watching the boy for a while now, and saw that he could fight, and that they share a common enemy. "So you're after this bastard too, huh?"

 

Jordan had watched Hikarus and Sins 'battle'. "If it wasn't for the sun, it would have been for more interesting," he muttered. He watched as the girl began to walk away so calmly to large crystal fissure, "How can she be so calm? She could've died if the sun rose five minutes later. She's got spunk, I'll give her that" Jordan stood from his crouching state and jumped from his current rooftop to a neighboring one and repeat. He continued jumping until he was over Hikaru but still well hidden. "You did pretty well out there on your own," Jordan said aloud. Little did Jordan know, he was giving off a horrible stench which was the cause of his strong darkness.

 

Hikaru stopped and quickly pinched her nose.

'What's that smell... I know this smell, the first time I smelled it was when I met Sin for the first time, him murdering my parents...' Hikaru thought to herself. 'It can't be him can it...' Hikaru thought to herself and heard someone speaking she quickly jumped back keyblade showing up.

"Who's there?" She called out holding her ground.





Inside the beast's cage another being walked out calmy giggling.

"Hello master... is there any hearts I may feed upon?" The being once out of the complete darkness of the cage asked. She was older about 20 or 19 years old. She had silver hair and yellow eyes. She smiled at Sin and stepped forward.

"This dark nobody must eat sometimes if she can have her dream to being the closes thing to a heartless she can." The girl said. A nobody who dreams to be a heartless, a nobody named Lynx

 

Lynx giggled along with him. She was soon pushed towards the stairs and turned around facing her master and bowed.

"As you are my master a being of great power who will soon rule the worlds" Lynx said. "My master is there anything though that may need done that you please me to do?" Lynx asked as a few heartless showed up around her as she began petting one of them.

 

Lynx nodded and ran up the stairs at a lightning pace. She exited from the back of the castle no where near the other visitors awaiting for her master to exit. She ran to the city as lunch time was buzzling with people. She stood in the busy city square.

'So many hearts, so many hearts, wants them all, wants them all, must have them all, must have them all!' She thought to herself mentally as people passed by. So unaware.

She closed her eyes as she focused in on the people around her as she read many thought to focus on her prey. She opened her eyes focusing on one.

'Hot chick just standing there.' Lynx looked up at her prey, a teenage boy hanging out with his friends. She smiled and licked her lips and walked towards him.

"What do you want?" One of his friends said.

"Just wanted to meet you, I'm new around here." Lynx said to them.

"Well we're not interested in new people, we'd rather use you as a toothpick." One of the boy said. 'They under estimate me' Lynx thought to herself.

"Hey boys, cut it out, names Josh." Another boy said, her target said to her extending his hand. Lynx took it as he kissed it. She felt extremely gross a being of no superior just kissed her hand. "How about I show you around?" The boy asked.

"Sure." Lynx stated continuing the act as a teenage flirt.

"Dude we'll see you later." The other boys said completely disqusted and leaving. Lynx mentally grinned. Yet she was disappointed she could have had more of a meal.

"well where would you like to go first?" The boy asked her.

"How about that castle, it seems like not many people go there." Lynx said to the boy. Not many people did go there, it was begining to fall apart and served no purpose anymore, it's where Lynx would eat her prey though. The boy smirked, Lynx knew exactly what he was thinking.

"Whatever you say, sweet thing." He said to her wrapping his arm around. Lynx giggled, most boys would take it as a flirt sort of thing however Lynx ment it for the ironic part of his, the thought of taking his heart.


He led her to the castle.

"Now I never got your name." The boy said.

"You don't need to know my name." Lynx said almost dying from the anticipation. The boy smiled. He got close to her.

"Well you know-" The boy was cut off as Lynx put her hand through his chest and pulled out the heart. She watched his body fall to the ground looking up at her in fear as heartless began climbing over his body. Lynx smiled enjoy her meal and slowly walking away as if nothing happened.
