Halloween RP Discussion Thread

    So different holiday RP's have been done in the past, and I was looking and I didn't see one related to Halloween.

    We've been in need, I think for a good horror RP. I have a few plots I'll edit later with but for now, anyone got any ideas to narrow down a few I have. Maybe a particular theme(haunted, murderer, trapped, curse, etc)

    I think if we should do this that this should be started next week and hopefully run all through October.

    My thoughts have been anchored around an RP centered entirely around a small group of people (maybe six or seven, maybe less), holding out for a single night in a building believed to be haunted. Something along those lines, though incorporating the solving of a mystery behind events that had come to be within it's walls some hundred or two years early. I know, it's pretty generic, but it's festive, to say the least.

    Or, we could always take the road less traveled, and do something lighthearted in lieu, like a Ghostbusters RP... that's be a class act.

    A ghostbuster RP would be a pretty cool thing to do, just how we'd pull it off, I'm sure I'd figure something out.

    Anyways a few just quick summary, nothing to big, relating to a few of my ideas...

    Night on Bald Mountain: A Curse(yes it's named after a song, and if one of you say Disney thing, I will smack you)-
    A group of young teens are going up for a camping trip, they're going to the legendary Bald Mountain in Colorado(why, because it's random). Though the teens will discover something that will change the rest of their life. A night with demons and spirits, a night with a curse, a Night on Bald Mountain.


    Halloween Night- Many things resolve around Halloween, stories, folklores, and much more. But this tale is based after a true tale.

    Every 1000 years 3 chosen humans are chosen for the transformation, what is the transformation? The transformation is when the humans must go and become a creature you humans fear(zombies, ghosts, vampires, whatever). Unless they can find the amulet, a gem worn around the necklace of the queen of halloween and use it to get back to their world, it will save them and all other humans in the future.


    (no title)- just a basic haunted mansion sort of tale, probably teens get stuck in a haunted house and have to find their way out before they become a ghost in the haunted house or something.

    I'm most taken to the idea of the haunted house one. Though I'd rather not have it be a high stakes sort of thing. My thoughts are that that could something more along the lines of a group of friends, mostly with different takes on the supernatural, spending a full night in what is supposedly a haunted house. And we could throw a bit of mystery into by having had the house as having seen a number of odd deaths and disappearances over the years, that have further added to its lore. Basically, it would something along the lines of Scooby-Doo, but with possibly real spirits/ghosts, and minus a Great Dane with a speech impediment.
