In an alternate Post-WW2 Asia and Europe a mysterious virus which many are calling "The Apocalypse" which makes strange crystals slowly encase the body before it decomposes. Many are saying is connected to the rise of a new industry which has been working on genetic enhancement and genomic resonance. As the virus spread riots and protest began to slowly tear the nations apart to the point where they called on foreign nations for help, and finnaly they turned to the new industry known as GHQ for vaccines and support. So as they produced the vaccine they slowly took control until many started protesting against GHQ calling the new government oppressive, those who protested were slaughtered like dogs by GHQs military force also known as the Antibodies. Finally, the people slowly lost the strength to fight back and went back to their everyday lives under GHQs iron fist.

During this time those who displayed good "citizenship" were brought to district 1 where they lived and flourished as businessmen and scientists while while the rest simply continued living in the other districts where the oppressive rule remained. And while the vaccine was still being mass produced GHQ had started yet another project genetically modifying prisoners (17 and under), they stunted cell growth so they would no longer grow and enhanced them to the point where the ones who survived exhibited almost inhuman strength and the ability to control the Apocalypse Crystals, but what they were truly preparing the teens for was exposure to a biological weapon known as the Void Genome, which would grant them “The Power of the King”. This is the ability to draw items known as Voids out of people, a void is the manifestation of someones heart in an item. Currently under the nose of GHQ some of the teenagers are planning a coup d'état after they receive the Void Genome.

Void Rules-

There are a few rules that apply to how The Power of Kings is used. They are:
Voids can only be extracted from people 17 years and younger.
The only way to extract a person's Void is to make the subject believe they are looking directly into their eyes.
When you withdraw a Void from someone, that person loses their memory of the time surrounding the event. The reason for this is due to the shock and trauma associated with the removal of one's Void.
It is possible to combine two or more Void powers to create a new weapon.
If the person is without their Void for an extended period the possibility of death could occur.
If the person's Void is destroyed then the person will crystalize and die in a manner near-identical to the effects of the Apocalypse Virus.
The Void Genome itself is directly bound to the user's arm. If the arm is separated from the individual (such as being sliced off) then the Genome will bind itself to another individual.
If an individual overuses his/her Void, they will begin to suffer the crystalization effects of the Virus.

Apocalypse Virus Info-

The virus was usually quiescent, unless activated by genomic resonance, after which the virus was able to replicate itself in the infected introns, causing the flesh to harden and creating crystal like structures on the body. Even in the quiescent state, it materializes the mind of those infected in the form of a "Void". The Void Genome is thought to inhibit this process.

So far the stages have been revealed as:
Stage 1-2: Virus materializes the mind in the form of a Void.
Stage 3: Small crystal protusions emerge from the skin and grow along the skin.
Stage 4 onwards: The person appears to have crystalline substances over some parts of their body. That continues to spread till their entire body is covered in crystals..
Final Stage: Once the body is completely crystalized the body begins to break down.
