Now the original is an old thread. How old you may ask ? I posted in it back in the summer of 2009, so it's getting dusty. There's several new members on the forum now so I thought that this was a lovely thread, and opinions change too so I thought that I might as well re-create it.

Original for all of those who care to peek at it : http://www.khplanet.com/forums/movies-television/1368-favorite-disney-movie.html
(I used to over-excessively use smileys, don't judge.)

Now as the title states: What is your favourite Disney movie ? And I'm talking about the ones like The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, The Lion King, Mulan (Really, anything you see in Kingdom Hearts tend to be the classical Disney films, excluding things such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Tron, but they're cool too.)

Also, did any of them creep you out ? Were some of them just strange ? Peter Pan used to always scare me when I was younger, and his tights are still terrifying to this day.

General, classic Disney film opinions are more than welcomed in this thread.

My favorite was Mulan! I liked her character a lot. But Mushu was probably the coolest guy there. As far as something scaring me......it was probably the bad guy. I dont remember his name but he was a weirdo

Shan Yu ?! Now that man was sketchy. If I were Mulan, I would have been afraid to take him on xD

Might as well state my favourites:

Aladdin- It has been my favourite for ages. I last watched it some time in January and I still thought that it was captivating. I try to sound as cool as Jasmine in her part of 'A Whole New World', but I fail in comparison. In general though, that love story is adorable and Genie is the best.

The Little Mermaid- Watched it last night; I was so impressed with how many of the songs that I remember (I should really thank KH II for that, with regards to Atlantica's sing-a-long). Ariel is my favourite Disney Princess at the moment, she's so curious yet genuinely sweet. Not as sweet as Belle from Beauty and The Beast, but Belle is a whole other story.

I adore Disney a little too much. I'm debating if I should try and watch Peter Pan again, it's been too long. (For reasons that are perfectly understandable.)

Ohh honorable mentions for favourites include:

    Beauty and the Beast
    Pocahontas

    Lion King

I like the musical numbers. Plus, it was a great movie with wonderful lessons like the Circle of Life!

Beauty and the Beast is my all time favorite Disney movie, and always has been. I love the characters, the story, the art, the voice acting, the music, everything.

I'm a huge fan of Disney in general, but the ones I'd point out for honorable mentions would be The Lion King, Aladdin, Mulan, and Hercules. Basically anything from that golden area of late 80s through the 90s. If we're also including Disney/Pixar, then The Incredibles makes this list, too.

As for the movies that creeped me out, well. Looking back on them now, there are a lot of scenes that squick me that I never noticed as a child (the Hellfire sequence from Hunchback of Notre Dame for one), but probably the movie that terrified me the most when I was small was Fantasia. Specifically the Night on Bald Mountain scene featuring Chernabog scared me to pieces. I was also creeped out by Heffalumps and Woozles from Winnie the Pooh and Pink Elephants on Parade from Dumbo.

    The Little Mermaid.
    The Lion King.
    Beauty and the Beast

All so good. I could watch them over and over again. I also love the songs from Aladdin and Mulan. I love Disney, I think I may be a little obsessed. I have all the classic songs on iTunes and listen to them all the time xD

Mulan. I loved everything about that movie. The story overall was incredible, the songs and her strong will to overcome everything made it very enjoyable. The Lion King and The Little Mermaid are good too.

I loved Tarzan as a kid and I still do. It probably is the reason why monkeys are my favorite animals. I love the music too. My least favorite is fox and the hound. I have no clue why but it freaked me out as a kid and I have never seen it again.
