    ~ Falling Deceit~
    OOC & SU: http://kh-3.net/forums/roleplay/8014-falling-deceit-kh-ooc-su.html

Not long after Sora and his friends returned from their long journey and had safely returned to Destiny Islands they recieved a letter from King Mickey.

The message turned out to be a warning from the King about the threat of another keyblade war not too far on the horizon.
Of course Sora, Riku, and Kairi hadn't a clue what he meant, considering they had yet meet any other keyblade wielders thoughout their entire journey.
So ignorantly they ignore the warning, and soon after Mickey mysteriously vanished.
Old enemies lurk in the depths of the darkness, along with a new threat in the guise of a hero. And soon new keyblade wielders begin to pop up like weeds.

Because of Sora and the others, everyone adores the keyblade masters and hails them all as heroes. Yet even the greatest of things can become corrupt.
A few keyblade wielders become blinded by their newfound power and begin to use their authority for evil.
Slowly but surely society begins to see the keyblade masters as more of a threat than the warriors of the light.
Everyone begins to question their loyalty and start doubting the power of the King, and every day they become more convinced that he is dead.

A new dark leader emerges from the shadows, claiming that he is a loyal denizen of the light. Because of their need for a strong leader, people begin to eagerly believe his lies and follow him.
He convinces them that the keyblade is a weapon of evil, and they blindly believe him, causing the keyblade masters to slowly but surely fall victim to persecuton. That is, unless they swear their loyalty to him.

Soon it becomes nearly impossible to distinguish the line between good and evil, and so the young keyblade masters must choose a side. Yet it could be more than just their lives on the line.
    ~* * *~

"Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket-"
Rachel quietly sang in a to herself in a melodic voice, looking into the deep gray blotchy sky as heavy raindrops began to splatter on the smooth stone streets of Disney Town.
"-Save it for a rainy day."
She raised the hood of her musty tan coat and shivered looking to the horizon with her big hazel eyes. It was only raining on her street. Breaks in the clouds make it bright, yet somehow miserable at the same time. A group of four big burly workers gathered around the center of the town and heaved a heavy statue onto a newly built platform. The statue was of Erebos, who else. It was a rather good and detailed copy of him, but it also showed his smile to look more genuine. And besides, you couldn't see his eyes correctly, his deep, dark, cold eyes that made her so queasy. She frowned, troubled and wondered why they worshiped that man so. He seemed nice and all, but there was just something....she didn't know what, but something just felt off.
"Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket, never let it fade away.."
Rachel trailed off seeing a tall lanky looking man with a small rusted hammer and a stack of papers give her the stink-eye and slopily nailed the proclaimation to the nearest wooden post. Turning away he gave he a curt nod and swiftly walked away. She inched toward it curiously and read the bold black letters.

    Proclaimation:
"If any person should see any suspicious activity related to the possiblity of a keyblade wielder in your sector, please report it. Do not approach them for they may be unstable and attack. Such abominations will be dealt with promptly and swiftly.
    With much love and care"
    -Erebos's Special Guard

'What is this the Middle Ages? Since when has there been proclaimations?!' Rachel thought angrily reading the letter. She frowned and fumed off, now the rain falling in a steady downpour.
"Abomination.." she murmered, crestfallen. When she first discovered that she had the ability to wield a keyblade, she was ecstatic and wanted to go off on some great adventure and be hailed a hero. Not long ago that's how keyblade masters were thought of, but now, Erebos shows up and they become demons from hell; a curse upon all civilization. However, she didn't dare share how she really felt about their "great leader" because everyone loved him so much.
So she decided to be the "good girl", not tell anyone but her cousin her secret, and smile when Erebos's name was mentioned. Even if it killed her on the inside doing so.

Good girl.....That could never last long nowadays. Especially with this "curse" of a keyblade.

She sat on the roof of the church in Disney Town. Raindrops slowly falling, falling at a steady pace. Very few people were out in the rain. A storm was coming for the moment though it was just raining. She sat and watched as a few knights from the castle posted up notices. She watched as a knight posted one on the church. She glanced down as the knight walked off. After a while she jumped down and looked at the notice, or a proclomation.

She pulled the notice off and read it carefully. "Much love and care? Hmmmm..." The girl said as she looked up at the casle in the distance. "Let's see some love and care then." The girl said as her hand glowed and in a few seconds a keyblade showed up.

The girl's name was Hikari. A keyblade weilder with a promise. A promise to all the worlds to make everything right. She has an oath and she's keeping it.

Hikari started walking down the street her keyblade now away her hands in her pockets. In the distane thunder could be heard. She continued down the street jumping into the shadows everytime she saw someone. She stopped though and noticed someone else looking at the notice. She didn't move though.

Rachel considered ripping the notice to shreds, but stopped when she saw a figure out of the the side of her eye. She glanced at her and attempted to conceal her annoyance at the letter by giving a small smile, but she even doubted it would look believable.
"Hi...Nice day for a walk huh?" she said in a friendly yet cautious tone. She shivered a little as rain began to shift through her jacket.

VentusSearcher Steam is the only way....

Sora sat on the soft sand of Destiny Island.there was a nice cool breeze and the sun beamed down. Then it hit him. It literally hit him. A bottle with a note I it. It read:
    Proclaimation:
"If any person should see any suspicious activity related to the possiblity of a keyblade wielder in your sector, please report it. Do not approach them for they may be unstable and attack. Such abominations will be dealt with promptly and swiftly.
    With much love and care"
    -Erebos's Special Guard

How could this be! He had to warn Riku and Kairi! He ran to his boat and pattled as fast as he could. He sat next to his Keyblade. How clould anyone think this weapon of light could be evil.

"Mhmmmm..." Hikari said putting her hood up and continued walking. She walked past the noticed and tore it down. She wasn't sure if the other person was a keyblade weilder or not, but even if the guards came after her, she knew she could take care of herself. "It's a very nice day for a walk..." She said sarcasticly knowing everyday was a day for a walk and everyday was a day to hide.

Cautiously ooking around, Rachel watched as Hikari ripped the notice off. 'Well she seems blunt enough' She thought warily checking for guards once more. There were some drunk officers at the bar across the street, but none of them payed any attention.
"Hey! You do know you could get yourself killed for doing that!" she felt hypocritical for saying this, considering she was seconds away from doing the same thing. "Not that I give a damn about son of a bitch, Erebos.." she added in a quiet grumble.

"I've always am up for a challenge. Plus it's about time keybladers took there stance, in an all out war. Something like this isn't going to stop me, that's for sure." Hikari yelled over her shoulder. "I'm not even afraid to summon mine and show it to you." Hikari said as her keyblade showed up. She turned around and looked at the girl. And removed her hood. "The question is would you report me? Would yoube going with Erebos, against the true king, King Mickey?" Hikari asked the girl. She didn't know if the girl would be on her side or who's side. She didn't care neither, she would take an enemy or an ally. Hikari knew one thing, nothing wasn't going to stop her in stopping her one day going to bring the fall of Erebos and bring the real king back, even if she had to search the universe and all four paths of the crosswalk.

'I can't tell if she's crazy or brave....not that there's much of a difference now a days. Rachel thought her eyes widening at the sight of Hikari's keyblade.
"Of course I wouldn't!" she grabbed Hikari's free arm and pulled her into a side alleyway out of sight of the drunk guards. "But sometimes it's smarter to lay low when your in enemy territory and live to fight another day." Rachel released Hikari's arm and reached out her own arm, a keyblade appearing.
"Believe me, I really want to fight for Micky, but right now I've got a lot to lose if I'm caught with this...but I'll help you in any way I can." she said with a slight smile and reached out her free hand.
    "I'm Rachel."

"Hikari." Hikari told her. "I've already lost it all. The respect of family, I'm already wanted, keyblade or no keyblade for opposing Erebos. Which I don't care, I will do one thing is I'm not afraid of anything, especially what that dark king can do to me." Hikari explained. Her keyblade disappearing. I have one goal right now and that's to find a way off this island and find the keyblade masters and King Mickey." Hikari said. Putting her hood back up as the rain continued to fall.

Rachel frowned a little. "I'm sorry to hear that." she looked down and let her keyblade vanish. She ignored the rain patting down her dark hair that fell in loose ringlets upon her shoulders and let the tiny drops slide off of her face. The girl looked to be her age, but Hikari still towered over her, as pretty much everyone did. It always frustrated her that she was always looking up to others because of her short stature.
"Wait, are you saying you know the keyblade masters?" she asked eagerly, a slight rush of hope flowing through her veins. It might have been the only chance she would get to find someone to train her. She desperately wanted to learn to use her keyblade, but her father was a high ranking officer in Erebos's guard. This proved to be a good and a bad thing.

"I don't know them personally, but I've heard stories of the keyblade master and his friends also keyblade masters for the most part. I know where they're from and where they may reside as long as Erebos didn't get to them." Hikari told the girl. She turned around to leave the ally and looked over her shoulder at the girl. "Want to come along?" Hikari asked the girl and walked out of the ally not even bothering to see if she was following. She turned and walked down the street passed the drunken guards fooling around. She just rolled her eyes keeping her head down low and hidden under her hood and she continued down the street. She soon stopped at an old abandoned house. She walked around to the back and climbed into the frameless window of the house. She removed her hood and noticed the dripping of water from the ceiling.

Taking huge risks like this was something Rachel just tended not to do much. First even considering showing someone her keyblade, and now she was following a total stranger she met only moments ago. She nodded none the less. "Sure, why not." regardless of half of her mind screaming at the other half to just leave and forget about this strange girl, something about going with her just felt....right. As if it was her ticket away from the lie she's been living.
"So, uh...Where exactly do we start looking?"

"Fenix, pay attention!" An old man yelled. Fenix lifted his head and yawned. He was in a small room with an old teacher and just a desk, blackboard and book. Fenix was taking these classes because the king didn't like his subjects to not have at least the appearance of a good education. It dirtied his reputation but Fenix didn't care. All he wanted to do was start burning and destroying people or places.
"Explain to me again, what gives you the right to order me around?" Fenix asked with an extremely bored look on his face.
"I am your teacher! That's what gives me the right. Now stay awake in my class!"
"Yeah, no. I'm bored. I think I'll go see what's up in the town." Fenix said as he stood up.
"You will not! Sit back down!" Fenix just ignored him and left. The teacher ran out to him and grabbed him by the arm. "Go back to class."
Fenix glared at him but the smirked. With a snap of his fingers the old man caught fire and started running around screaming. Fenix laughed and kept walking until he was out of the castle and in the town surrounding it. "Let's see if there's anything interesting going on."

Hikari turned around once they were hidden in the building. "First off is a way off this world. I don't have the slightest clue how to though." Hikari admitted and sat down on the a crate. She looked up at the girl. Rachel appeared to have very little training to her eyes. "Have you ever... fought before... with your keyblade?" Hikari didn't want to come straight on saying you look weak. She waited the answer though and heard a voice outside and put a finger up to signal to be quite to Rachel. Slowly she made her way over to the window. She hid behind the curtains and looked outside seeing a guy outside.

Hikari has seen him before if her memory stood correctly from the numerous times she spied on Erebos. He's one of the kings followers. She remained quite glaring at the guy as he continued to walk around the town.

Rachel leaned against the wall. "Well, once I took a kick boxing and self-defense class at the community center....But no, nothing with a keyblade." she paused and shook her head slightly. She was athletic enough, not a track star or a warrior, but not weak either. She narrowed her eyes and leapt out of the view of the window when she heard a familiar voice. She peered around the curtain.
"Hey, I know him. He's visited my dad a few times in the past couple of months." Rachel said in a low voice, forgetting to mention that her father was part of the guard himself.
"I could probably try leading him away from here if you want. No one really suspects me." she shrugged quietly.

The low rumble of thunder began to fade as the storm receded. Erebos stared out a widow high above Disney town, in Mickey's castle. Of course it was his castle now and he was quite enjoying playing the part of "King" ever since Mickey had a mysterious disappearance. People were afraid and looked for leader that would make since of the madness unfolding in the worlds. Rumors spread that the Nobodies were on the move again as well, but that just made people all the more willing to follow him. It really didn't take much to sway the crowds in times like these.
He sauntered off down the corridor, his mind occupied with the latest news about the Nobodies. Many people didn't even know about them, and the was the possibility of working with them. The Rumors said that Xemnas may still be alive, and if it were so, he could persuade him to help eradicate Sora and his lackies for good.

"I swear to god, if you hit on me one more time, I'm going to sock it to ya!" Came an agitated woman's voice. THis was countered by a man saying, "I swear, I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about."
This back and forth would continue for a few minutes.
"Why the hell're we even on this godforsaken prison of a planet, anyways?"
"As I told you before, it is because the wizaard said we were supposed to meet somebody here. Or rather, that somebody is supposed to meet us."
"What-ever! You and your damn superstition!"

The female of the duo was rather tall and looked dirty, and had green hair. The male of the duo was shorter than the woman by about an inch and was wearing a kimono and smoking a pipe, and had long brown hair.

"You can, or I can." Hikari stated as she extended her hand when her keyboard showed up. "I'm not afraid, in fact I'll let myself be known." Hikari said eying the guard with anger. She walked to the back and launches out the window and looked back at the Rachel.

"Hey, if it isn't the King's number one lackey there", a man with hood covering his face letting out slight amount of long, brown hair coming out out of it, said to Fenix with annoying tone. "Hiding in shadows is not comfortable soon enough if you keep lightning places all over - and besides, shouldn't you be studying? I bet a bloody dog is more intelligent than you!" The said to fenix as he threw one of his many daggers just a inch away from Fenix's feet, soon after jumping down to the street in front of him. Not a moment after a raven followed and sat on the man's shoulder.

"Seen any Keybladers lately? Raven here is quite hungry for organs to peck around", the man said petting the raven on his shoulder, which stared coldly at Fenix, not making any sign of movement - to the blind eye it would had seemed that it didn't even breathe.

"Wouldn't you like to know bird-boy. Want all the credit to yourself?" Johnny started walking off down the main street. He had heard some rumors about a possible keyblader hideout and he wanted to personally go and 'recruit' the warrior. And if they refused his 'generous' off then he would kill them. As he walked Fenix turned his head back and called out. "And don't follow me or you'll be having your bird for dinner. I'll be nice and cook him for ya."

Hoshi only gripped tighter to her keyblade when the second person showed up. She knew who this was, she had just escaped death from him one other time before she recieved the keyblade. When word got out of her being a keyblader, Hoshi has had to escape from the raven he had as a pet numerous times. She backed up, she really didn't want to mess with him at all if possible. She looked back at Rachel. "You know him?" She asked in a whisper so low she wasn't even sure if Rachel would have heard her.

Hoshi felt herself wince from what the hooded man said. "That monster..." Hoshi whispered. He was one person that made her fear Erebos. She watched as the other man left and continued on walking.
