ETERNAL SAGA TO THE DOOR

Darkness is Eternal...

Light must be as well...

But what of Nothing?

(Highlight text above and be enlightened!)


We must rise to the light...or fall to the darkness...but what of the realm in between? Twilight must lie upon the hazy hills of gray nothingness....Will we be awoken to darkness, to light, or become overwhelmed by that of the hollow? Eternally striving for the door, what will we amount to? But, darkness in zero? Any way we go on our paths toward the door, we do so together but in our own inner universe: ones to be crossed by the others and ventured in and beyond into the heart. Thus may our paths cross and that released to us together be embraced or rejected...

But what will we sacrifice?

Long, long ago....



Before worlds populated the Realms of Light and Darkness and that In Between,

All that existed was an eternal darkness....

An abyss of darkness that held nothing....

Not like the evils of the shadows to breed in the light,

But of a nothingness, void of light...

No realms existed....only one:

One world that held a powerful heart at its core:

KINGDOM HEARTS....

This Heart was the only heart...

The heart of this expanse, this abyss, of darkness....

Embodied of light,

The clash between the manifested light at the world's core...

And the imposing hollow around....

Pressed Kingdom Hearts....

And then before breaking....

The light was released into the darkness...

And leaving Kingdom Hearts at the center of this,

The light embodied in the heart of the united world...

Created shifts in it, creating the Realms of Light and Darkness and then those In Between...

Thus, in all realms, worlds were created from the life of Kingdom Hearts...

Bound with this life force, time passed....

Though united....the story is told of those with greed...

Who corrupted their hearts and soon others....

The manifestation of greed, hatred, and malice created darkness within their hearts...

Therefore, the life force of Kingdom Hearts became split in the Realm of Light....

And the worlds departed from their links with but little memory of the past....

Though, the question is often avoided:

Why did people turn to greed?

Was it simply their nature....

When they possessed hearts of the purest light?

Most pure among the people,

Were those of the Society of Light...

They were ones not corrupted by the greed of others....

The people respected them and honored them....

Until they disappeared....

To this day no one knows what had happened....

They, those who wished to bind the worlds again,

Left only the Princesses of Light...

Those of pure hearts as well....

Following the mystery, the world's became permanently separated...

Until young heroes would attempt to bind them together again....

The Princesses now fading like the Society of Light...

And light also growing dimmer and dimmer....

When will they awaken...

And by doing so awaken the sleeping hearts of all worlds...

Kingdom Hearts....

This is the Everlasting Saga of the Door...

Eternally binding when the worlds and their people separate....

Casts an eerie glow of the light from all high...

Never manifested in such a way...

Old prophets and scribes gone;

What of shadow's light in darkness, upon....

Hurried footsteps patted the dark roads of Radiant Garden....Heavy breaths exhaled with worry and dismay...Rushing forth to a frustrated crowd cloaked in the shadows that held them in the night under the moon clouded over with the deepest of mists...

One of the crowd spoke...

So...The messenger has arrived...

Another, a woman...

What say he?

...Nothing....

The words silently spoken...like a whisper....with not the message of great wisdom they had sought but wicked nothingness instead, eating away in the darkness at their cold, broken souls...

Darkness grew amongst the crowd, grasping the light in a new age of teetering forces...

Awestricken faces...lost in the shock...

Then, like tears fallen from angels, their faces cast rain droplets from the heavens...hoping to purify their tainted hearts...

The heavy rain grew....Pouring heavily....the rain water rushed into the drains as the people stood together but never farther apart in silence....along with blood rushing out likewise down the drain from a townsman stricken by the greed of another....the first death in cold blood vibrated within the silence....just like the words of those lost....lost like the purity of their own hearts....

Past the days of Sora, Riku, and Kairi, the worlds are at peace with light lingering in between. The heroes of the past have become aged and retired waiting for new heroes to appear in the fold of light and darkness.

Long ago had keyblades been used....magic cast....hearts awoken....

Only in his time....

Now, the age of awakening is upon the worlds and their people....

Rising or falling into light or the depths of darkness....

How will the path be laid?

A dark form fell from nowhere down into the depths of nothingness...

Plunging down...

Eyes awide....death to defy...instincts by and by....the end is nigh!

Spinning in the air...Destati gazed back as he fell and saw a massive platform getting closer and closer that arose from nothing...

Where am I?

In an instant, the glass below shattered and he went through unharmed but dazed as he saw that the circular platform though shattered radiated in its spirit still above.

Falling still but now looking at that above him in his fall on the platform, Destati saw a girl standing with her back turned looking up beyond....standing still on the platform....

Gasping...Destati then saw what she was looking at...

A massive blue heart loomed over head shinning a faint blueish shaft of light down into the abyss he was falling into...

And, then....

The spirit of the girl and the shards of glass formed together in a swarm of white, ghostly doves that rained down upon him and engulfed him in a holy light....

Hooded and cloaked, Destati held himself up to see a great imposing form before him. It was that of Yen Sid. His back was turned facing the doorway to a gigantic tower...

Who is he? thought Destati....

Gazing out over a balcony....

What in the world....

I sensed a presence outside but I had no idea....

In a puff of smoke, the mage disappeared and reformed on the stairs outside his door. Looking out to the orb of darkness lingering before him, Yen Sid waited ominously for the stirring creature to awake and reveal itself....

Following the great mage up the stairs, Destati began to take in the world as he went further up the tower staircase spiraling above.

Why is he helping me? I don't understand.

Yen Sid:
You may not understand now...Neither do I. Yet, you have appeared before we, so the fates signal for me to come to your aid. We are not too far away...Then, may be discuss!

Destati:

And so the two reached a door to the highest room in the tower. There, Yen Sid sat in his master chair behind his table of magical trinkets...

Sitting, he motioned Destati to join him. Destati, looking at the moon outside a window in the room, looked to him and sat.

Yen Sid:
So, I would be lying if I didn't tell you, you are a strange fellow, quite an unusual fellow indeed....

It appears as though you hail from the Realm of Darkness. Am I correct?

Destati:
..........You are....

Yen Sid:
Goood! Goooood! So, you can speak? The question then is how?

Destati:
............Simple question indeed...

.......I am unaware myself......

......but if it aids you.....

......I've lived there ever since I can remember.....

Yen Sid:
Oh, is that so? Why, you are one peculiar young man!

The two stare at each other for a moment as Yen Sid ponders questions and possibilities in his head...Destati merely awaits for the pause to end while the wind fiercely passes the exterior walls of the tower.

Destati:
......Why do you think that I am here?.......

Yen Sid:
.....Well, many young persons have sought me for my wisdom and my experience and have become heroes.....You, on the other hand, are different......Rather than seek me....Fate has gathered you at my door by my hand...and my hand alone.....You see.....I did not mean for you to come her but you have! Therefore, it is my duty to guide you forth....

Yen Sid looks closely at Destati....

Yen Sid:
Ah.....So, it appears you have a rather unusual heart....At first....I thought you were a heartless....then I wasn't sure what you would do....But, now....I see that you do have a heart....Though, it is fading into steep darkness....As light unfolds the shadows of the heart....yours perishes as the light encourages the untapped light within to be free....Though, the shadows chained to your heart are too strong....too strong....In time, your heart will try to open with the light of this realm only to let more darkness resting around it within you inside....Oh....I fear for you....

Yen Sid then reaches his hand at the surprised Destati...Touching his palm to his forehead, Yen Sid quickly recoils with a yell as Destati then holds his head and winces...

Yen Sid:
The darkness in you is deep...I fear a presence in your path...Apart of your destiny is facing this darkness as well as the darkness that lingers...grows....to engulf the world....Saving yourself from the shadows is intertwined with saving the world from a similar evil.....I did not think that an evil could sprout again, but now I am unsure....Go forth and seek out a student of mine....He shall help you and then you two must come back to see me again...In the meantime I will reflect upon this force....It worries me....Please hurry! Find the man who sits upon the cliff overlooking the Great Maw in Radiant Garden....Tell him Yen Sid sent you! Then after...go to see Merlin, a wizard much like myself, and tell him the forces will be gathered where the Lords of Light once sat on the eve of the seventh stage of the moon! He will know....I may be unsure for now, but if the man feels this presence as well as do I, I fear the worst and measures must be undertaken. Be wary! Now, GO!

Destati looks concerned as he nods and then disappeared in a puff of dark shadows....

Oh, Rexzo...please assist this man....I feel the fates call for it! What new saga may arise, I do not know! But, a darkness does grow and I have felt it, but never so strong as now. It must be in his fate to meet it. Not Sora's or any other. The era seems upon us...Hurry!
