The lands of the Humans and the Sidhe are at war. Both sides have been unable to best each other. Men and women were dieing.

It actually started out as a dispute many years ago. A young, and brash, man had chopped a tree down to make himself a fire while deer hunting. What he hadn't known that he should have known, was that this tree was a Dryad, it's spirit away visiting with the leaders of the Sidhe. It died right in the council room, and ever since the Sidhe have bitterly hated the Humans. The humans have denied their request to have this man executed, because they said it was an accident.

Both sides show no signs of stopping in their conflict, but a few commoners have attempted to move for peace. People are becoming tired of this war, for it has spanned on and off for fifty years. Many families have been destroyed, along with villages, cities, and trading posts. The war shows no end, but perhaps the end is closer than either people think.


Normal Rp rules apply, along with something a bit extra.

Since the first part of the roleplay will be with both races seperate, i ask that you mark your post in the top left corner with an X (Sidhe) or a A (Humans). Don't worry, this is just for the first few posts.

No dryad characters are required, they are npc's.
Otherwise Humans and Sidhe are the two races that can be picked.

Explanation on the races:

Sidhe

Nature lovers at heart, the Sidhe are a magical race. They practice gardening, with their villages spread in such a way as to minimize the damage done to nature around them. They tend to live in forests, and command powerful spells. They are also masters with the bow.


Humans

The humans are a brash people considered to be the "bad guys" in this war. Their lack in magical ability is far exceeded by their skills with metal craft. They have skilled swords men and cavalry.

The sidhe can enchant their weapons and the humans can have stronger weapons. Also humans have armor that can stop some spells.

Note, Sidhe can be a magic swords man. Humans can also have spears and horses as well as shields.

History: He was a farmer before he was picked to join the army. Proving himself to be a powerful swords man, he is a captain of his division. he wears brown gloves, and likes to check the earth to see how rich it is.
Personality: A loyal man to his people, he will do anything to ensure the survival of his men. He has grown tired of the war, but doesn't wish to lose.
Weapon: A long sword, as well as a horse. He also has a spear for in case he needs to charge. He makes his own for each battle because they tend to break. He also has a shield for when he fights on the ground.

 

Now all we need is our second main character. Nina, were are you?

XD, you didn't even pick the race that has the X. You have a human.

Also, i won't accept your ap do to the race thing. Either he is sidhe, or he is not.

 

The sidhe are basically elves before they were elves. Elves i feel, are a blood that might be a little more watered down with human blood than the original blood of the sidhe. Wow, i used blood three times in a sentence. Creepy? oO

 

Yes. That would about sum it up.

 

Don't worry. Moogles are good at stuff like that.

 

That should work i guess. Just remember that she is frailer than a human, so her swords won't be as effective.
