Elements: The Unknown Arts

"Now listen Nicole, it's about time you learn about your powers. That's why I'm sending you off somewhere special." Chief said to Nicole. Nicole was leaning against the wall. She looked up at him.

"What exactly do I got to learn, I can't be gone through ninth grade, I need to get back to that." Nicole said.

"You won't be able to if you don't learn your powers." Chief said. Nicole looked at him. She sighed.

"Ok, ok, so what do I got to do?" Nicole asked him. He smiled.

 

"Hey! Get back here! I'm gonna get you for that!" Somebody yelled at Tom while Tom was walking away.

Tom turned his head back to look at the person. "What? Just because I told your girlfriend what an ass you are?" He said without emotion.

"I'm gonna get you for lying to her. She broke up with me because of you." He continued.

Tom laughed under his breath.

The laugh broke the last straw for the guy. Electricity charged through his arms and he shot the electricity at Tom.

Tom quickly spun around and brought up a wall of rock. The electricity broke the wall, but didn't reach Tom. Tom quickly kicked the rock wall at the guy.

As this was happening, a group of students gathered. They were all yelling. "Fight! Fight!"

The guy shot two more bolts of electricity. One destroyed the rock wall and the other went straight for Tom. Tom caught the bolt of electricity and shot it into the sky. In the same motion, he spun and blew a strong gust of wind at the guy, knocking him off his feet. While the guy was on his back, Tom made the ground become quicksand, and the guy sunk into the ground. The guy's hands and head were the only parts of his body remaining above the ground.

"Damn you! You cheating *******!" The guy cursed at Tom.

"Next time you pick a fight, make sure it's one you can win." Tom said before turning around and continuing in the direction he was originally going.

 

Will stepped in front of his cousin Tom. "Tom, get him out of there." He growled, fire and ice charging in his hands. He and his cousin had the worst rivalry in the school and everyone knew it. They always took it too far with their fights. "Let him out NOW!" Will growled, swords of fire and ice appearing in each hand.

 

Cael had already been to the school for a few years. In the beginning, everyone feared him for his dark powers, and tried to stay as far away from him as possible. But now, in his third year, everyone respected him. As Cael walked down the halls, he noticed the two cousins, Tom and Will, once again beginning to fight. He sighed. "Will this family feud ever end?"

 

Nicole looked at Chief. chief snapped his fingers. She looked at herself in the real world it's night even there, but she looked like a normal human.

"You know what to do and stuff. See ya." Chief said.

"Wait... he's gone." Nicole said. She crossed her arms She looked and saw a boy and guy who looked like a wizard. She looked at them.

OOC:: Ok I decided this isn't going to be like my story, It'll be a spoiler (By the way all of you should check out my story or the blog for my story which won't be officially up not till I'm done with the story.) she'll just be like a ghost phstom power thing, I'll edit my template when I get home.

 

"No." Tom said calmly. "He was the fool for picking the fight. Do you want to be next? We both know you can't beat me. So how about you get him out if you want him out? I'd rather not embarass my own family member in front of alot of people... Again."

 

Cael walked over to them. It wasn't the first time he had to stop a fight, but it wouldn't be the last. "Alright, guys, that's enough. How about you both pull him out, make it even. And helping others is not an embarrasment. It might actually reward you someday. So stop bickering and pull him out."

 

"I have no reason to pull him out of the ground. He deserved it." Tom said as he started to walk again. "And when I said embarass, I was talking about Will here getting beaten down in front of everybody." Tom kept on walking. He looked up at the sky and sighed.

 

Will laughed. "So the great Tom is afraid of me? Try and see who will win Tom. I've gotten stronger and I've always been faster than you. Let's see who gets embaressed this time." He called after Tom. He knew Tom would fight because he was prideful. "Let his pride be his downfall..." Will thought.

 

"The only thing you've become more of is cocky." Tom said, still walking. He turned around and blasted an extremely strong gust of wind at Will, knocking him off his feet. Tom grew plants out of the ground, wrapping them around Will's hands and chest. "You just don't get it, do you?" Tom said, bringing rocks to his hand and crumbling them into sand. "I'm better than you. You're not focused. The slightest distraction will be your downfall. Now, we're both aware that you're gonna break free. But before you do, let me tell you this. Live your own life. Don't try to live mine." Tom turned and started walking away again.

 

Will spun, fire erupting from his hands and feet, burning the plants away. He was up in a second, hands shooting large bolts of lightning at Tom. "You need to stop being such a snob!" He roared, throwing large stakes of ice at him as well as lightning. He then started to run forward, everyone in the hallway moving to the sides.

 

Nicole walked over to the kid.

"So you new here, too?" She asked him. She peered down the hall and could sense the fight. She crossed her arms.

"Seems like a normal school except this extra power stuff." Nicole said. She looked at the boy.

"My name's Nicole, I don't have I guess an official element, but I have like a ghostly sort of power." Nicole told him.

 

Tom made a wall of sand to stop the lightning. The lightning destroyed the wall, but was stopped. Tom shot white fire at the ice spikes, melting the ice into water, and then the water evaporating almost instantaneously. More plants came out of the ground, wrapping around Will's feet and tripping him. "I'm not a snob Will. I know when I'm right." Tom said. "And I'm right about you trying to be like me. Think about it. You try to be as smart as me. You can use all elements rather well, like me. But you don't know when to not pick a losing battle. Now do me a favor and cool down that fire inside of you."

Will burned the plants again and came up with an idea. Desperate but it might work. He started to gather some of each element into a sphere in his hands. Lightning crackled around him and wind roared through the hall. Plants started to grow on the walls, fire erupted around him, and icicles formed on the ceiling. "Let's see who's losing this fight now..." He growled as the orb grew.
