Nope I did not know that!
Yup I heard it was a good year. I'm expecting Microsoft to surprise us this year.

THQ will also have the upcoming Wrestling game WWE '13 XP
Sony should be unveiling, as well, the Orbis, rival to the Kinect, and, HOPEFULLY, inFamous 3 xD
And, with all the rumors floating around since November regarding its specs and whatnot, an Xbox 720 (might not be called 720) reveal would not be surprising although I think I heard someone say that Microsoft would NOT be showcasing anything next gen related. Poor Microsoft :D
Then of course Nintendo has Wii U with a possible Assassins Creed title revealed seeing as the Rayman Origins trailer had, at the end, an Ezio figurine inching closely towards the Wii U controller XP

So pretty much (And this console based stuff and on what I think is practically common sense and predictability):
Sony: PlayStation Orbis reveal, more Vita stuff, PlayStation All-Stars, Sly 4, Last of Us, and MAYBE an inFamous 3 teaser (although I sadly doubt it :( )
Microsoft: Halo 4, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, future of Kinect, Xbox Live related topics, and the next Xbox(?)
Nintendo: Wii U console, Wii U price, Wii U titles, and future of 3DS

I'm a Sony fanboy so this looks good for me but honestly I hope Nintendo and Microsoft bring a little more to the table to compete with Sony. Wii U is great and all, but no real expected titles as of yet, besides the usual first party stuff (Although when i heard Pikmin 3 i slightly cried of happiness). Same with Microsoft, who WILL come in third again this year if they do not showcase their next big project or, God forbid, do another ridiculous showcase involving celebrities and bad actors using the Kinect. All in all, Nintendo might still take it home this year again with 1st solely because of the Wii U. Money is still on Sony with all their expected but great lineup.

Awesome. Castlevania games are always good to play. I wonder what this one will be like.

I remember talking about something like this when the Kinect first came out. Thought it'd be fun to play, but insanely hard to do (Or at the very least, it can't be done properly).

Finally some official titles on the Wii U? Cool. I wonder what else they're gonna bring up this year.

I should get my hands on Metro 2033 if I ever get the chance.

And I should probably beat Revelations first.

Is E3 open to the general public again?

I'm pretty sure. E3 has been open for the general public for quite few years if not all.

June 4th is the press conferences. I know IGN is always there and other popular sites.

June 5-7 is open for the public. If I'm not mistaken, tickets are sold on the website.

Was anyone else disappointed highly by the conferences so far held by Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo?

I didn't get to watch them live because of graduation, but re-watching them I was highly disappointed. There was nothing new brought to the table like last year they already announced wii u, so there was nothing really exciting

wii u looks boring. Not sure if I want to buy, might use money on something else.

the general public was shut out of E3 a few years back, but now I think its reopen to the public.

As of this years E3, it was bad for almost everyone. Sony did the best job, just because they showed 2 games that I actually want to play. Those too are "Beyond: Two Souls" and "The Last of Us", just because both games look unique and doing something I have never experienced in a video game yet.
