Desert Warrior's Characters

Probably about time I got around to making this thread. All characters to be posted will probably be used for the RP Arena.

 

Name: James Taylor

Age: 18

Bio: James was born like any other human. Unfortunately he was a bit of a troublemaker when he was young. One day he just decided to run away from home. He ran into a small traveling mercenary group when he was running. The leader took an interest in him and made a bet. If James lost a fight against him, James would have to stick with them. If James won, he would be free to go. James, being fairly arrogant, agreed and lost. So he was forced to stick with the group, as much as he didn't want to.

Appearance: He stands at 5'10" and has a fairly common body size. His black hair reaches just above his eyebrows and is slightly longer at the back of his head. He wears common traveling clothes and a scarf of the same color.

Personality: He has toned down a bit from when he was younger. He is now more patient than before, but he still enjoys fighting and is always willing to get into a fight. He finds fighting fun and will get into fights without even considering whether his enemy is stronger than he is.

Weapon: A sword specially created just for him. While all records of the distant past have been destroyed, there are still legends. One legend is of a sword made purely of light. A friend of James created a copy of that sword. The sword James uses is also made of light and can only be used by him. It appears in his hand when he needs to use it, and vanishes whenever he chooses.

Abilities: James has 3 main abilities he uses.

1) Magic aura - Like everybody else, James' magic surrounds his body. It acts as a shield to protect him, making something less damaging than it should be. It also allows him to perform feats he shouldn't be able to; basically it can increase his physical strength and stamina. It is also slightly malleable, allowing James to pick up things away from him not unlike telekinesis.

2) Eyesight - James was born with (Metaphorically speaking) a second pair of eyes. Aside from normal sight, James can willingly switch his sight to something more advanced. He is able to see the flow of magic. This allows him to see beyond any illusion or invisibility. In addition to that, being able to see the flow of magic would allow somebody to interfere and stop any spell. Unfortunately James has yet to learn how to do that.

3) Destruction magic - This special type of magic is unique to James. Basically his magic destroys anything it touches. Due to a self placed mental block, James cannot destroy people with it. Supposed legendary weapons (A weapon that has something unique about it) cannot be destroyed by this magic either.
