I don't think it could happen, it was confirmed that Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain Of Memories would be the last to release on PS2.

I wouldn't mind a remake of Birth by Sleep but if it means more of a delay for KH3 to start then never mind.

yeah. i've got a DS and Wii as well.

this game looks great and just imagine it on the PS3... it would be even better.

I would love for Birth By Sleep to be for the PS3 since I don't have a PSP >.<... If they were able to make Chain of Memories for PS2 I don't see why they wouldn't do the same for BBS :3... I wouldn't care if it meant a bit of a delay for Kingdom Hearts 3 because I really want to play to play this game... And plus it would probably look brilliant on PS3 ^^

What would be the point of making it on the psp then. What would you wanna wait longer to play it or just save up for a psp before it comes out.

But Chain of Memories was made for Gameboy Advance and was ported for PS2. The point I'm trying to get is, that they could make a remake of Birth By Sleep by using a KH3 engine, instead of PS2 graphics. The PS3 discs also have more capacity so it would be possible to have extra features.

:( I DON'T HAVE A PS3, A DS, OR A WII!! (Been waiting on the Wii patiently for 3 years now.) It most likely won't be on the PS2, so I have to get a DS & a Wii in order to even play BBS.

I can't see it happening. The most likely remake would be 358/2 days, simply because there's a much larger technology gap. But I don't think it would happen anyways, Chain of Memories was 2, had limited voice acting, and limited gameplay compared to KH1 and KH2, so they remade it. But they also made it because alot of people played KH2 without playing Chain of Memories. They wanted such a vital title available alongside the others, since it guaranteed alot of sales from people who never found the game.
Meanwhile, BBS, 358/2 days, and even Coded have more or less recreated Kingdom Hearts on their respective systems, they all have 3D environments, voice acting, and FMVs. Square wouldn't be able to improve much in a re-release, as opposed to CoM.

I think it would be great if they would port Birth by Sleep. It wouldn't really matter for me because I have both a PS3 and PSP, but the graphical quality would be absolutely amazing on the PS3. And to have a larger range of multiplayer abilities would expand from the PSP's multiplayer engine. I hope it comes to the Playstation3.
