  1. The catastrophic events that took place in Japan 4 days ago was devastating.

9/11/2001 one of the most terrifying days in history.

The end of the world, our supposed last day of life is December,21,2012

Think about it for a second........................................................ Now put the two dates together like so...

    3/10/11
    + 9/11/01
    _____________
    12/21/12
Coincidence much? You decide! Are these catastrophic events foreshadowing the last day of man? Or is it just one hell of a coincidence?

This calculation has no weight on prophecy or any such thing. If you had more dates and events that could be mathematically calculated down to the supposed end of days date, then this might be more intriguing, but looking at but two events in correlation does very little to say anything. People have tried to predict the end of days for centuries, even longer, perhaps, and it still hasn't totally happened. Given the flow of history, I wouldn't be surprised to witness something incredible and world-changing happening in 2012, but the end of days? I think not.

I think that a lot of what's been happening is being overblown into the end of days for one reason: Because everyone, pretty much everywhere in the world, knows what's happening else where. People in Britain have certainly heard that the United States is suffering economic turmoil. People in the United States more than aware of the events proceeding in Egypt and the rest of the Middle East (these are just examples). I think that this whole end of days business is becoming more of a media boom than an actual prophecy. There's been trouble and turmoil for about as long humanity has lived in organized societies, and the only reason it seems like so much more is because we can all see for ourselves the troubles of the rest of the world.

I'm saying that 9/11 wasn't a great atrocity, and that the tsunami in Japan isn't a tragic event. But it is all being blown to the point of "OMG we'ze all gonna die!" which it just shouldn't be.

-_- Oh my gosh. I do not believe that 9/11 and Japan's earthquake has anything to do with 2012. Besides, 2012 is 99.9999% will never be the end of the world and no man knows when will be the time. Thus, I voted "I do not believe in this crap" because Japan's earthquake and 9/11 has absolutely nothing to do with the rapture and it is totally ridiculous to even try to compare. Why try to compare the three dates when there are no similarities at all?

The earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan was going to happen eventually, there's no significance of the date it did occur. Japan lies on what is known as the Ring of Fire, every land that lies on that ring has been subject to volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and tsunamis. It's not 2012 or the end of the world, Japan just has a sucky location geographically speaking since its right on top of two tectonic plates that keep colliding all the time.
