Bio: Angeal Hewley is a 1st Class SOLDIER, approximately 25 years old. He is the son of Gillian Hewley and Dr. Hollander, created by Project G. He is the mentor of Zack Fair, and eventually passes down the Buster Sword to him.
His true character is stoic and serious, but he has a playful side, calling Zack "the puppy". Angeal gets along well with the 1st Classes, Sephiroth and Genesis. He bears two white wings on the right side of his back, which seems to cause him some uneasiness as he considers them the traits of a monster. He has a small fan-club people have made for him called "the Keepers of Honor".

Angeal's father, Gillian Hewley, worked with Dr. Hollander in the experiment of her namesake Project Gillian, a branch of the Jenova Project to create a Cetra-human hybrid. Gillian was injected with Jenova Cells, whom Hollander thought to be a Cetra, and her cells were later injected into other test subjects. The result of this was Angeal Hewley. During his childhood, young Hewley lived in Banora Village. His family was poor in comparison to his best friend, the son of the village's landlord- Genesis Rhapsodos, who was also a test subject in Project G. They always new they would grow up together and become great friends.

Bio: Born Noah fon Ronsenburg, Gabranth is the twin brother of Basch fon Ronsenburg. They lived and grew up in the Republic of Landis, before it was invaded by Archadia. During the invasion, Basch fled their hometown to the Kingdom of Dalmasca, while Noah moved with his sickly mother to Archadia, her homeland. There, he adopted his mother's surname Gabranth, and joined the Archadian Military. He quickly climbed the ranks, and with the backing of Emperor Gramis became Judge Magister.

Bio: Vincent was once a member of the Turks, which was then known as Shinra's "Department of Administrative Research." When he was assigned to supervise the Jenova Project in Nibelheim, he fell in love with a scientist named Lucrecia Crescent, an assistant to Gast Faremis. When he discovered her link to his deceased father, Lucrecia fled from Vincent, ultimately entering a relationship with her associate Professor Hojo instead. Lucrecia became pregnant afterwards, and Hojo planned to use the fetus as a test subject for the Jenova Project.
Vincent objected to the use of humans—especially Lucrecia—as test subjects. Even so, in the interest of science, Lucrecia proceeded with the treatment and became very sick as a result. Outraged, Vincent confronted Hojo in the Shinra Mansion's underground laboratory and a heated argument ensued. Hojo ended it with treachery, pulling a gun from his lab coat and shooting Vincent in the head. He proceeded to use Vincent's half-dead body as the subject for experiments involving strengthening the endurance of the human body, and metamorphosis, enabling the body to transform into various monstrous forms. While Hojo does succeed in making Vincent's body stronger, Vincent dies during the procedure. Lucrecia, devastated with Vincent's death, used her knowledge about Chaos to resuscitate him by infusing the Chaos-tainted Mako into him. The procedure worked, as Vincent's body, due to Hojo's previous experiments was strong enough to become a Chaos vessel, however, Chaos was completely out of control and only stopped when the Protomateria had a reaction to Chaos. The Protomateria, which had been discovered by Grimoire alongside Chaos and theorized by Lucrecia to have been created by the Planet "out of necessity as a means to control Chaos and prolong it's own inevitable fate," had been in Lucrecia's laboratory. She put it inside Vincent's chest, and thus Vincent was able to control Chaos to a degree. Vincent later awakened on the operating table and responded to his modified body with both anguish and rage.
Believing himself responsible for Lucrecia's illness after Sephiroth's birth, he locked himself inside a coffin in the basement of Nibelheim's Shinra Mansion, where he slept mostly undisturbed for years to atone for his "sins". He constantly relived his "nightmare" for these years as a punishment for his inability to stop Lucrecia from submitting to Hojo's experiment on her unborn baby.

Bio: Alex Mercer died while carrying a small sample of the BLACKLIGHT Virus he took from GENTEK, using it as "insurance" so he would not go missing like other GENTEK personnel with critical knowledge. He was cornered by the military at Penn Station, and in one last effort to take revenge on GENTEK, and seemingly the world, he breaks the virus vial releasing it into New York. Immediatley after, the Blackwatch troops killed Alex with small-arms fire. The virus infected Alex's corpse, reanimating his body in the process, using his cells to preserve its existence and creating a new entity with inhuman and assimilation abilities. Thinking Alex is dead, the military takes Alex's body to the morgue in the basement of GENTEK, where the virus awakens. Literally, Alex Mercer is no more, he is the BLACKLIGHT Virus, which is the reason why the military does not call him by Alex's name; instead they gave him the codename of ZEUS. The irony in all this is that while ZEUS, the virus, is the hero of the story, the actual Alex Mercer was the villain as he was the one who unleashed the virus without any regard for New York City and the world, and while ZEUS vowed to seek revenge on those who were responsible for making him this way, the one person ultimately responsible was Alex Mercer himself.

Bio: While only being two feet and nine inches tall, King Mickey is an incredibly powerful character in the Kingdom Hearts universe.
First studying under Yen Sid, Mickey is the inventor of Gummi Ships, the first to realize the threat of darkness spreading between worlds, and one of the characters most strongly affiliated with light, including Sora. This is not always readily apparent, as his character remains very simple spoken, colloquial, and lighthearted.

Mickey is the King of Disney Castle with his wife, the Queen, Minnie.

Abilities/Weapon(s): Nero's weapons of choice are guns, two of which are carried by him and used by his mechanical hands (on his mechanical wings), and two identical ones drawn from darkness which he uses with his real hands. He also has the power of darkness, which he can use to transport people, objects, etc, or, indeed, absorb them into the darkness like a black hole and destroy them. While fighting, Nero is able to spin around using his wings as melee weapons, and able to shoot dark orbs, which he calls "Dark Rain."

Bio: Nero is the biological younger brother of Weiss, the only successful experiment from stagnant mako injection while in the fetal stage. The experiment itself was based on the research left by Grimoire Valentine. Upon Nero's birth, a vortex absorbed his mother into another dimension. The scientists of Deepground discover Nero has power over darkness, and confine him in a suit of Mako to contain his great power.
Nero, Weiss and Rosso continue their training and grow stronger over the years. Eventually, they are feared to be too strong to control, and Nero's arms are bound to prevent him from using his hands to manifest his dark powers. Nero was then chained inside Mako Reactor 0.
